I'm running ARHD 6.6.5 and even though I have been flashing the Super Charger tweak that is supposed to keep the launcher in memory, I have been seeing the white HTC splash screen and the home screen shows itself loading for about 10-20 seconds. This usually only happens when I come out of an intensive app, like Temple Run, but it's still annoying. How can I fix this?

When im scrolling through web pages images don't load until i take my finger off the screen creating a slight lag where there won't be anything on the screen for a few seconds theb the images will pop in. This happens with the stocl browser and dolphin HD. Anyway to fix this?
I'm pretty sure this is just the nature of current android devices. One of their main weaknesses is their ability to smoothly manipulate the screen (scrolling, transforming, scaling, etc.). There is also always a slight delay between touching the screen and when the screen starts to scroll. I am running a 1.7 ghz power house and I still notice this effect, although ever so slightly.
its weird though because if I scroll, stop scrolling, but still leave my finger on the screen the images won't load, however as soon as I take my finger off the screen the images load. Its as if the tablet isn't even trying to load them as I'm scrolling but instead waits for me to finish
PS you're lucky to get yours running at 1.7 ghz, mine is stable at 1.6 but crashes at 1.7
I am having a couple issues after rooting my phone and thought I would ask here before restoring my phone to factory. I rooted my phone not to long ago and started noticing this. It seems that while using any app that sometimes all apps just crash for no reason. This is very intermittent, and it seems to happen completely randomly. If i am playing a game it might just close, likewise with an E-mail app. The whole phone freezes up, the screen goes blank, and then it reloads the launcher. I don't get a notification that they have force closed or any warning. It is almost like my RAM gets full and Android closes everything, but I have monitored my RAM usage and it stays around 600 megs.
Another issue is that data both on wifi and cell networks seems to drop out. It shows that i am still connected but refuses to load anything until either I put the phone on airplane mode or restart. These issues may be connected but they do not happen with each other.
Anyone experienced anything like this? I haven't installed anything new, and I don't use battery saver apps.
Hi
I have big problem with Oneplus one after update to 38R there are crazy heat
Rest my phone to default but nothing change
Mine has been having serious issues too, screen randomly half wakes then doesnt go back to sleep, then goes very hot, RAM overloads while browsing or playing games, games lock up, keyboard glitches out.
Only way to get it back to normal is to restart but then its back to the same state within the hour.

This screams for a factory reset

i would recommend a dalvik cache wipe first before data reset.

Done and the heating was stay
Hi, I pick up my phone to check the time; i.e the time appears for a few seconds on the lock screen then screen turns off. I am using one of the round clock-face screens.
Sometimes (not always) when the screen is switching off, some of the content from my home screen flickers on screen for a fraction of a second (notification icons, the digital clock and something at the bottom), as white text on the black background. It's not catastrophic but it is enough of a flicker on the screen so catch my eye and make me look over at the phone.
Has anyone else seen this and/or know how to fix it?
Mine does it too, and I don't think there's anything we can do about it.
Which update are you running (1.15 or 1.21)?
I used to noticed a slight flicker on 1.15 not to the extent that youre describing, but it went away on 1.21.

I'm running 1.25.400.3.
It seems to be doing it less now, maybe only 1 in 5 times. I haven't changed anything (been running that version since I first got the phone last week).
It happens intermittently and has happened for the almost 2 years since I bought it. It has been a minor annoyance which gets annoying in certain scenarios. I have waited for a update to hopefully fix it and have tried removing or changing setting of suspected culprits. However to no success. My device has had a factory reset 3 times and this still happened during a fresh install. No third party apps should be accountable.
During regular use:
1. Screen will turn off and the device will lock
2. After about 2 seconds I will be able to turn the screen on which will display the lock screen.
3. The lock screen will be blank with my wallpaper, the lock screen widgets (time, date, text, shortcuts.) Will eventually load in within 5 seconds, this could be instant or delayed up to 5 seconds.
4. I will finally be able to unlock the device where I'll be greeted with an empty home screen. The launcher however will restart. All of the UI elements will slowly load back, including the notification bar.
5. After about 5-10 seconds. My device will become functional and up to speed as usual. Apps may have lost their memory/recent data. (Eg: YouTube restarts to home menu, chrome page will have to reload.)
To me it sounds like a memory overload. Perhaps an app is causing a memory leak? RAM is faulty or succumbing to SEU's due to poor quality materials. Battery or power regulator fault causing voltage surge or sag resulting in MIUI crashing.
I'm really not sure
I have been looking for the issue online every now and then. However I cannot find anything.
Anyone else had this issue? Anyone know better than me and have an idea?
I very much like this device and this is the only issue I'm having so far.
