where are the custom roms at?? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

the international version seems to have so many mods and custom roms already, we dont seem to have any why is that? i would have thought the hox is a flagship phone that it would have developers popping out roms like crazy.... i kind of wish i gotten the international version...
anyone have any idea on when we will possibly see some roms? i really want the android revolution rom

"Audience" isn't large enough. Yet. Perhaps.
Apparently Europe will be seeing the XL LTE version, so maybe more action here in a while ?
I just ordered an International though.

[Closed] News about the root

Seems to feel good
It seems that HTC reverse its decision to block everything on the latest versions, after the petition that circulated on the net, requesting the release.
See article below:
htc-reviewing-its-bootloader-policy-well-believe-it-when-we-see-it/
and the other:
confirmed-evo-3ds-bootloader-recovery-and-kernel-images-all-locked-down/
i really don't get it why u post this articles again and again and again
it's only about htc reviewing the bootloader policy, and that really means nothing
u only make wrong hope to 90% of the people here
well and like some user here said:

Actually, no.
From the same article:
"In short: custom ROMs, kernels, and recoveries (like ClockworkMod) may never come to the EVO 3D, barring some kind of epic HTC screw-up."

But Bless HTC updated their response .. we get what we asked for finally.
Anyways plz Keep the forum clean

You said that what I had write was worth nothing, but the last answer of HTC concerning the bootloader is clear even if no date is specified.

I believe that this does say something
Basically that the soon to be released HTC EVO 3D bootloader will be unlocked

He's right. You'll be bricked. Don't do it
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Correct.. the galaxy s2 skyrocket .is a completly different device then. The galaxy s2 or anyother galaxy phone. Except tmobiles gs2. Different hardware. Cpu/gpu..... Do NOT flash anything from ANY other device on yours. It will brick your phone. Making it useless. And you will have to buy another one.
Read around in the q&a section. Where questions are supposed to be posted. You will see about 15 other people with the same question. If you want to hear it from more then a few people.
Some guy did it in the T989 forums. Don't do it.

No, you can't since the skyrocket uses adreno 220 and the I9100 uses a MALI400, you will install the wrong graphics drivers on your phone and won't be able to see anything. You will be left with a brick (recoverable brick though).

Which one did you download and flash?
1xream Sandwiz 1.1?
HTC One X S3 Maddon 2.5?
Should try the TWICS mod for AOSP Roms. Much better.
Great i'll give it a go. Thanks.

T-Mobile HTC One s
And hopefully they can jack the radio out of it too. Can always use a new radio. Thanks for the post.
With all the problems the European users are reporting I would hold off updating

I am an HTC "You Club" member ( https://eclub.htc.com/us/secure/ ), which I suspect is what was blurred out in that announcement email.
I just checked my profile and noticed that I didn't identify my carrier ... probably why I didn't get an email.
Maybe next time.

Which carrier is this?

when I checked serial number and imei in htc site I found that it belongs to Australia without carrier
sent by myself without help )
Checking x.xx.710.x on HTC FOTA server gets a response of FOTACANCEL_NO_MATCH_SKU, eg as far as the update server is concerned there is no HTC One XL on x.xx.710.x
This build was built 4 days after Telstra Australia's 5.08.841.3, which looks almost the same except hboot 2.15 vs 2.16.
It seems odd that someone in Australia would be releasing an unbranded version so late in the HTC One XL's life.
Maybe this is just an internal test version?
Its a at&t HTC One XL , mines says it too....
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
I think the hboot and software version were of more interest
