You could've looked in the dev section and known that the answer is a resounding "no"
We have no unlocked bootloader, which means no custom roms just yet
There actually are some custom roms available in the Dev section, however I don't think that support for miui or cyanogenmod or aokp will come until the bootloader is unlocked.

Those aren't really "roms". They're batch scripts that modify the stock rom. I mean, call them what you like, but to me they're not fully baked custom roms.
Thanks Guys for the info.
just this morning we have a post of unlocked bootloader.

Hope this works and brings good customs roms for all happy HOX owners.

Yeah everyone's been all over that since yesterday around 3pm EST. Now we just have to wait patiently for roms to be developed/ported.

There are many custom roms that allow you to tether with your phone. I personally don´t use it but if I am not wrong CoreDroid V9.2 (which is my current rom) allows you to do that....is not necessary to go back to froyo stock. The best way to find out is to search in the dev's forum the different roms or ask in the Q&A section.

Just curious, why does anyone want pure stock? Custom ROMS are the way to go! Or are these just in case you have to send your phone back so you don't void your warranty?

There's an APP by the ClockWorkMod Team that might help you to tether without having to downgrade your firmware:

Most if not all custom ROMs allow for tethering. That might be good advice except this thread is about ATT Stock ROMs and nothing to do with custom ROMs. Please stay on topic.

Hello,
I have the Rogers version of the One XL and I'd like to root my phone in order to try the Trebuchet launcher from CM9.
I've managed to unlock my bootloader via HTCDev.com however I am not able to install CWM from the One X dev forum, I'm assuming because it is designed for the Tegra3 and not the S4.
Is there a way for me to root my phone at this time or will I have to wait until one of the knowledgeable devs ports CWM over?
Thanks,
George

In due time sir. Once more people actually possess the phone, development should pick up nice and well. We'll all have CWM before long.

I have been using miui.for XT701 for a long time。 everything works very well.but I feel very bad after i buy a new Atrix 2 last month. rom for A2 is little。there is no roms such like CM7/9 and miui. It seems that make a miui for A2 is easier. Can any one make one for our Atrix 2 .Thank
you very much.
And Please forgive me for English。
Sorry but that is not possible right now.
We have a locked bootloader on the atrix2 so, there is not a way to install non-stock ROMs until we can figure a way to get the bootloader unlocked. This also applies to AOSP and AOKP ROMs as well. The issue is these all require kernels to run, and you can not flash a kernel with a locked bootloader.
The ATRIX 2's bootloader is locked, therefore such roms as you've mentioned will not be 1) made for the ATRIX 2 nor 2) work on the ATRIX 2 until the bootloader is unlocked. A few simple forum searches could have shed some understanding regarding this, had you taken the time to do so. We're all getting unnecessarily frustrated seeing new locked bootloader-related and ICS/JB threads posted here when doing a little leg work to research on your own before cluttering up the forum would answer most -if not all of your questions. Please read this thread and watch the video (again) so hopefully we can manage to quell these types of things before they get out of hand more than they've already gotten: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1778853

Where? You created a thread, but never put any ROM in that thread, in the dev section, plus it was for the ME865 not the MB865.
I will give you a system image, if you can actually produce the ROM and post it in the dev section. If I don not see it in there in the next week, I will hunt you down... JK... I will PM you with a link, but YOU CAN NOT share this with the world yet, we are not quite ready to support this yet.

Transplantation of miui V4 need not unlock bootloader. We can use official roms to make new one.Chinese official MIUI have give a course for us to
make miui V4.But it seems hard for beginner like me to make new one. HTC EVO 3D MIUI V4 is developed like this. And It is to be measured immediately.Only use five days. Here is the picture. perhaps you need Translate it with Google Translate .It is Chinese.
Forgive me..I tried searching but couldn't find anything. I was previously rooted and bootloaded unlocked, then my phone constantly was asking to do the ATT update. Eventually it forced me to do it and now I don't have root. Is there anything I can do? Currently I really only need root to use wifi tethering, although I would like to be able to be rooted and unlocked to install new ROMs in the future.
Right now there is NO root exploit for the new update. Your gonna have to kick back and relax. Sorry Honestly you should have flashed a custom Rom. That would of prevented your phone forcing itself to update.

If you EVER unlocked, you still can. Just unlock BL again, install recovery, push root, or just install another ROM.
Cool. Thanks people.
I don't really feel like there is a completely stable rom right now which is why I never flashed one in the first place. Unfortunately when I was getting the OTA update notice I must have some how hit accept, then it was too late and I couldn't cancel it in the middle. Now I'm updated and stuck.
I'll try to do the unlock again but I'm not sure what you mean but "push root".
edit: the bootloader unlock did work. I have twrp recovery new. Last step is to root. Thanks for the help.
Completely stable Rom? Wow, there are plenty ... Wcx roms are 100% stable and his sense 4.1 rom is not only 100% stable but has all the mods and tweaks built in, all built none ported And honestly there is none faster ....

Im so used to flashing custom roms that i have to ask is it easy just to flash the stock rom back?
Ideally id like to put everything back to stock even the recovery tbh so they cant get confused if TWRP loaded up by mistake like it does some times if the battery goes flat.

I agree with you, taking everything back to stock is a good idea. Not sure where you are located, but it should be easy enough to find the stock RUU for your phone/carrier. When you install the RUU, it will automatically include the stock recovery as well.
