Stock Font - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

What is the stock font? How would I apply it back if I changed it?

Here is the entire font folder from my system file the main font is roboto

Arabic Font
you are both wonderful ...
i'm now facing a small problem,
i'm on stock ROM of Rogers and simply did install Smart keyboard and added the Arabic Lang.
it works very nice but i want to change the font only for the arabic (reading and writing)
earlier i had Desire HD with Arabic rom, so i had a font DroidSans-Arabic .. which i do change with my desired arabic font. but my 1x is not on arabic rom so i can't find droidSans-Arabic font to change it with my desired font. so i just applied the font and it did override the Roboto font offcourse.
see it works ok in writing (the keyboard font did change) but not in reading specially in website
any clues !!

Not sure if this would help but have a look at this thread

I sent them a question about the font if the language is enabled and see ... thanks for the link

You can use TypeFresh (m using currently) search the thread u will get all details..
Also FontChanger is available in the market..
Another good one with a ton of extra stuff..... is called absolute system tool for root, has a file explorer, font downloader and boot up animation changer among other things!! Paid app, but well worth it!!!
Best regards,
Chris
i´m using the custom font switcher, i chose the sony sketch font ( looks like the sony ericsson label)
I use America Sans Mod in fontchanger. It's about 9.03Mb and supports almost all blackberry's symbols, korean, chinese, bla bla bla... except arabic maybe. For someone want to try, here

I use rom toolbox to change my fonts, bootscreens etc
I am going to call my kids Ctrl, Alt and Delete. Then if they muck up I will just hit them all at once.
working on Fallout?
On all the roms I've tried it on
A TV can insult your intelligence, but nothing rubs it in like a computer.

Yes you can, they are in the local tab, sweep the screen to the right and you can see your folders
"You know you're a geek when... You try to shoo a fly away from the monitor with your cursor. That just happened to me. It was scary."
Okay it changed now.
But its not good, because i cannot set Bold/BoldItalic/Italic.
There is just regular and this looks bad as hell!
There are some flashable zips you can search for. I know about segoe wp, Helvetica, roboto font.
Never had success with a ttf font file. Search for flashable zips, you'll find them..
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
I use font changer to apply ttf fonts. Put them in a folder (like /sdcard/fonts) and set the path to this folder in font changer. If you want bold or italic you need to have 1 ttf by type (xxxxx.ttf + xxxxx-bold.ttf + xxxxx-italic.ttf).

In times of Gingerbread I also used Font Changer. But this Font Changer doesnt work on Ice Cream Sandwich! I have these 4 .ttf files (Regular,Bold,Italic,BoldItalic) and I want to have them working on Fallout ROM or ViperSAGA

ViperS Font Packs (Taking Request)

After long hard work I have managed to make few Font packs for our beloved ViperS Rom
Rule of Thumb:Always make Nandroid Back-up before changing any system Files
How to Apply:
(1) Copy font pack to your SD card, by default font pack should be saved in to your SD\Venom\Fonts folder, you can copy fonts pack to that same folder or can create new folder.
(2) Open Venom tweaks select Advance tab where you see option Use custom font, if you are already using some downloaded fonts pack from venomhub then its already selected then deselect that and again select it, it will open new dialogue box where you will find your all font packs.
(3) Select any pack you want to apply and reboot:victory:
I have personally tested this fonts on my sensation they are working well, But if you have any problem after applying this font pack and if your phone enter in to boot-loop Please Download the attached Font_rescue.zip which you can flash through recovery and will flash default ICS Roboto fonts.
If you encounter any problem in any font then let me know i will look in that matter ASAP
If you want me to make any specific font pack then i am happy to make you one send me Font name and attachment of the font file
I will try to add other font packs in near future
Finally Very Big thanks to
m0narX for his guidance and giving us this great rom:good:

[Font] How to change Persian / Arabic Font in Note3

Hello everyone !
I'm going to tell you how to change Persian or Arabic fonts in beloved Galaxy Note3!!
First of all you need to have Root access , with a simple search in forums you can findout how to Root.
Then you got to install "Root Explorer " or any file manager you know how to work with and gives you system file access .
Now download any font you like or copy from your C:windows/font folder to your SD card and rename it to GS45_Arab_AndroidOS.ttf the font file must be in ttf format itself, which all are in.
Next go to Root/system/fonts and change the font file with name GS45_Arab_AndroidOS.ttf to GS45_Arab_AndroidOS2.ttf or anything so when you regret changing your font you have the original one lol .
However, copy your new GS45_Arab_AndroidOS.ttf this folder.
TADA you just have changed your FONT !! :victory:
or just install fontchanger and change it in advanced mode......TADA
One of the problems in changing the font for me as bilingual user is finding a good font that has good combination of fonts in single file !
You'll get one of the language's font is good and the other would, most probably, suck !
But thanks for the OP, Windows fonts are mostly good for both langs !
Well, you always can find nice English fonts in market for flipfont but they usually change your English font and keep your Arabic/Persian font same as default. But with this method you can change the default Arabic/Persian font as you want then use other fonts for yur flipfont.
Tho you always can mess with system font folder and change anything you want but don't forget to make a backup before anything.
And as for third party apps to do this um I don't know its just more fun to do such things manual !!
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Works like a charm
this is EXACTLY what I was looking for for a long time.
this method changes the font EVERYWHERE. font changing applications only change the font in system and most of the apps stay the same (for arabic only)
thank you
---------- Post added at 07:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:13 PM ----------
now is there a way to make a combined font style to change both English and arabic fonts? combined or changing each alone?
or to make the question more clear, which font I should replace to change the english too?
because if I change it from the settings it will change the arabic too

[Need Help] Missing default font suddenly

Hi all,
Suddenly my default font is missing after change theme and can not be restored. The font is bigger than what it should.
Could anyone pls help me?
Thanks in advance
Funny, I have no font menu item at all in the settings (EU L29 B152)... and can't even change it through the theme manager...
Did you install any theme?
Themes (especially Chinese ones) might corrupt the font faces used in the interface...

That happened to me when I tried a theme that changed the font. I don't remember what I did to fix it but after an hour trying to figure it out I remember the fix was so easy I called myself an idiot. If I remember what I did to fix it I'll let you know.

I indeed wasn't able to restore the default font after I installed this bad theme: Edward Returns
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65618373&postcount=4
It replaces the default UI font with a silly DroidSansChinese.ttf font which hasn't all the accented letters there are in the Italian language...
No way to correct the problem installing any Huawei original theme, because those themes don't install any font at all!!!
So the only way I found was to modify the same previously installed dark theme replacing inside the .hwt compressed theme file the font "DroidSansChinese.ttf" with a Roboto-Medium.ttf font file renaming the Roboto file as the original "DroidSansChinese.ttf"...
Then I reinstalled the bad dark theme and I got all the Mate 8 user interface in an acceptable Roboto-Medium font face, however unfortunately things are not exactly the same as before...
Finally I reinstalled an original Huawei theme.
If someone found a better solution to restore the original Huawei font in an unrooted Mate 8 this will be much appreciated...
Thanks!

In the 183 themes, there are also two kinds of edward returns, I tried the v3.0.7. The font didnt change. Now if I want to change the theme, I rather check the container first. Does it contain fonts or not. If it does I prefer not to use/try it. Bad experienced.. hahaha..
I think I tried to change from the standard style and simple style and it works to restore the font.. maybe... I dont really remember.. but hesitate to try it again..
Your suggestion was very interesting, so I tried it..
But after switching to simple and then back to standard I found the same font face as I had before.
In my case I had previously applied a modified theme to restore the Helvetica font, so it's possible that other people might benefit from this method.
BTW, the bad theme was Edward Returns 1
I found a theme with acceptable font included
HI,
My Mate 8 (International version) default font changed too after applying a theme containing a Chinese font so after a day of search in several themes I found this theme that have a close to default font u can try it unless u want to root or factory reset you phone
Flat Emui theme :
http://goo.gl/BFc1eN
I hope this will help as the theme has many Emui versions with the last one working for me
There is a default font theme on the color of android M thread that can restore the font to the default.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/themes-apps/mate-8-marshmallow-coloured-theme-emui-t3420178
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.olabs.theme.fontreset
This did the job for me.
