I think I'll get in on this pre-order. Was wondering when something like this would be commercially available!

Great ! I'd like to get one.
Everyone is orgasming over this thing. What is the big deal? It looks like it is sold barebones. After keyboard, mouse, monitor, sd card and power supply you can buy a tablet. Not to mention getting a case for it.

Apologies if this has been posted before, but I think this is the first phone with hardware which supports both Android and Windows Mobile. Unfortunately, dual-booting is not an option, but the hardware can run either OS. Specs include a 624Mhz processor (unspecified), 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM.
More information here. (translated from simplified Chinese)

Thanks for the news mate
Do you have one?
Can you post more details?
How much $
And full specs plese
Shie Shie
Here's a bit more information on the i6. it is made by a Chinese company called (I think) QiGi (in Chinese it is written "琦基").
Marvell Monahan CPU 624MHz
2.8" QVGA Screen 65K colours
2MP camera
GSM/GPRS/EDGE
BT 2.0/A2DP/WiFi
Mini USB 2.0
GPS/SiRF Star III
109.5 × 58 × 14.9mm
1250mAh battery
OCR/business card recognition
automatic screen rotation
gesture control
the Windows Mobile version allegedly has some kind of TF3D type interface
No word on pricing I'm afraid although some of the news sources claim it is going to be cheap as it is not a 3G/3.5G phone.
Edit: I just wanted to add that the press release was yesterday, so I've not actually seen the phone in the flesh, just what I read about on the web! FWIW I think it actually looks really good and the ability to load either Android or WM onto it is very appealing.

Yeah, since Chinese PSEUDO MANUFACTURER and CLONE INDUSTRY does not have to worry about copyrights ... I rather stick with WESTERN WORLD ESTABLISHED products ... !

The folks at Gizmodo Australia have got their hands on what they're saying is training material for the soon-to-be-released (we hope) Nexus tablet. They're saying the tablet will be a 7-incher built by ASUS and be debuted at Google I/O this week just as expected. The specs are also pretty close to everyone's guess:
7-inch 1280×800 IPS Display
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (not confirmed to be 5.0 just yet)
1.3GHz Quad-Core Tegra 3 CPU
NVIDIA GPU
1GB RAM
8GB / 16GB Internal Storage
1.2MP Front Camera
8 Hours Battery Life
Wi-Fi a/b/g/n
NFC
The materials suggest the tablet will go up for sale in Australia sometime in July, so we expect it in the very near future in other places on the globe. Source : AndroidCentral
That leaves a few things left to wonder -- will it come in white? And what's the reason to buy it over any of the other Android tablets out there. We're half kidding about the first bit (although it would look very nice in white), but for the second there is one thing we know of to make it worthwhile -- updates direct from Google, with no carrier or OEM bull**** involved.
If you want an Android tablet, that's the one to get. If you need a reason to buy an Android tablet in the first place, we're hoping to see one this week at Google I/O.
Did you really trust Gizmodo?
I would like to see an SD slot and HDMI. I could see them leaving out HDMI to try to cut costs, but no SD slot is very Apple like and they did it with the Galaxy Nexus so I wouldn't be surprised.
I refuse to buy a device without expandable memory, my Touchpad was the exception since it was on the fire sale. There are plenty of free cloud services but data is expensive. microSD cards are cheaper and more reliable for storage than the cloud.
This could be real, given the way pictures were taken showing all the views. Unless they've covered it with 2 layers of plastic to hide the titanium coating :cyclops:

I would wait. Not only are we unsure about how the hardware will handle such a high res but apps might have a problem with the resolution as well. It's really nice to see this offered though

If you have bought one of these tabs and are as unhappy about it as I was then read on.
THESE ARE IN NO WAY 'FLYTOUCH 10' MODELS!
I know what it says in the about page but anyone can spoof a model name in build.prop. These are in fact SuperPad 10s http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/10-RK3188-quad-core-android-4_1622115746.html Look familiar?
TabTronics lie about the spec of these devices (NO GPS and only 1.4ghz NOT 1.6)! I got mine for free because they wanted me to keep my mouth shut about their false advertising. Just shows how dodgy some people can be.
Anyway, I now have a FREE rk3188 tab to play with. First off spec. The parts inside this tab seem to be a mix of rk3066 and rk3188 gear (Notice the Flytouch 9 is the same form factor and an rk3066?).
Ive seen 2 versions of this firmware now. the one it came with (which was a mix of an M8Pro and a TV stick firmware) and the one on their site (the better one).
Ive built a basic version of the firmware on the site and it runs well!
spec:
2Gb Internal storage (More games/apps) at the cost of external storage (12Gb Free)
De-Bloated
De-Odexed
init.d support
CWM Touch Recovery v6.0.3
Cant remember if its fully rooted but I can show you how if it isnt
Antutu score is around 18k depending on what im doing. Boot time seems to get longer and longer, not sure if its the apps im running or an issue with the firmware (more testing needed). I usually get above the Samsung S3 so that keeps me happy
I fully intend to develop this rom and maybe at some point expand it to other platforms. If anyone is interested in helping me with this project then please pm me
Anyway, here is the link, use batchtool and do a restore (may need to format the internal card on first boot), takes about 10 mins to do the initial setup so dont worry, it hasnt stalled
DOWNLOAD
I hope this helps someone somewhere get the best out of this device. Feel free to comment, good or bad

Hi all! I bought Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus-G on Cyber monday. According to it's specs, it has pcie 4.0 https://ssdrive.net/sabrent-rocket-4-plus-g-2-tb I thought, that all m2 SSD drives are the same and didn't watch the characteristics of my motherboard. I have Ascrock Z270 Extreme 4 mobo, that supports M2 PCI-e 3.0 only. Looks like the connectors are the same on PCIE 3.0 and 4.0.
Is it ok to use SSD created for PCI-e 4.0 on PCI-e 3.0 motherboard? Is it safe or I can get problems with my hardware in future? I stupidly unboxed ssd and now I can't send it back to supplier. I don't want to upgrade my mobo + CPU now. Thanks for help!

The Z270 chipset does not support PCIE 4.0. You will put a drive in, but I'm afraid that the bus frequency will not support the disk controller. Look for the full specs to see if this SSD's controller can switch to work on the PCIE 3.0 port.

It will work fine.
Just at PCie 3.0 speeds so technically slower but not a noticeable difference.
Thank's to all! SSD started as karandpr described
