I'm working now on Thebyani ROM in my Galaxy S II , but the problem in that
rom that the main Camera app can't Record Videos , the solve for this problem
is installing Camera ICS app , but i don't know how to make that app recording
videos in HD quality , BTW does this app recording HD ?!
i´ve got the app too and i think it can´t record in HD

Not likely HW...
A Galaxy S II can definitely record in HD. 720P for sure and most of them can do 1080P. So I don't think this is a hardware limitation. Go to Cam Corder mode in your camera/cam corder app (you should see the red dot in the middle of controls). Then select quality and you should see options there. I use 720 HD for my recordings because it works well with TV playback and wifi access (1080P causes wifi hickups because the files are too big for good wifi transfer, but you could always move them to your PC and play there).

watching it in the web browser on the full site and changing it to 1080p

Yeah I have the Samsung Infuse and I use Opera Mobile Browser ( best browser ever) & I have probs with 1080p as well viewing in dt mode 720p works perfectly for me....

with the infuse i can understand but from a dual core? anyone else having this problem?
problem existed on the atrix. is there a device that doesn't have problems with it?
Pardon my ignorance... but why would we need 1080p on our phones? they can't display the lines, or does it actually still look better? Less Grainy?
on the desktop I don't notice anything higher than 720 as I have a 720TV.

don't know if you have tried lgCamerapro 6.3 yet but if you haven't, give it a try. it captures real 1080p videos at 30fps and with great quality to boot. i'm just having issues with its audio capture but apart from that, it works better than the o3d's default camera (less 3d capture of course)

attached pic is my settings... i just used 12mbits as higher bits "sometimes" gives the notorious audio/video cut haha
Can Do 3D
This app can do 3d you just need to switch the camera its after the front camera. Not sure about resolution though been couple of months since I used it. If I remember correctly you just have to to the 3d formating settings for it to view properly.
For me it doesn't work.Especially the video recorder.And on all settings.Maybe it's the Rom I use, the WaterBear

that's weird... works fine on my phone. maybe try tinkering with the settings? and btw, you should not check stereo recording and you should not go beyond 15mbs on the settings menu.

can I transform my Desire S to fully working HD camera ?
Yes, there is camera app from default. But on gingerbread, the video was lagging and sound was weird. On stock ICS, the video is just a little bit better (in my oppinion), but not much. Sound is as bad as before.
So is there any app, fix, patch that would transfer this phone to fully working HD cam ? I would like to stick with my rooted official ICS, so no other roms.
Try installing a different camera app from the play store?

hey dude,, try lg camera from play store ,, u can customize the bitrate, sound, resolution,, im using this app for ever , and it really does a great job!!

Even 480p is a bit jittery too depending on lightning. But Id still recommend holding out with 480p if recording isn't a make or break scenario for you...maybe there will be a solution

Why do you want to play HD videos on a phone if you have a 320*480 touchscreen. Many computers can't play 720p videos and you want to do this with your phone? Samsung GT-S7500 doesn't have a high quality GPU but a medium quality is very good for me.

I don't think we can even watch it in 720p becos our graphics and pixel are not so good
