Sense 4 ringtone?? - HTC Sensation

i really like this one ringtone on the sense 4 roms called Carry On. Was wondering if there is anyway i can extract that or even have a download link for this ringtone. Really hate sense 4 compare to ics 3.6 or any of the aokp or aosp roms. I trying to go back to other roms and definitely want that ringtone to come with me lol. Thank you if do have it or find a way to do it!!!!!

Here you go!

Ringtones and notification sounds can be found in System/media/audio

>< thank you for the file and thank you for that tip!

[Request] AOSP Alarm, Calendar, Contacts, Music, etc. apk's

Firstly for those thinking, "just get DarchDroid! It's already AOSP," I would first like to explore this option. I like Sense UI, just hate the lag associated with certain Sense apps and would at least like to try the AOSP versions before completely switching to a new ROM.
I did some searching, but couldn't find any sure apk's that will work on a CDMA Hero. The closest I found was some working for the EVO 4G (here), but I don't want to risk it not working on the Hero.
Is it possible for someone to pull some apk's from DarchDroid ROM and have them work on Sense-based ROMs?
Suppose there are working apk's, will they replace or coexist with the HTC apps?
Thanks in advance, and I apologize if this was already done.
Edit: found some apk's!
Edit 2: apparently I suck at searching; there was another thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=667715#7 but at least my thread has the DeskClock.apk
I feel your pain, or at least I did. I liked sense but hated all the lag such as the lag when scrolling threw contacts and SMS. All those little small areas where it would lag drove me crazy. I tried installing the apks from darchdroid but it didn't work so I searched it up. Got the same results as you. I had no choice but to go with darchdroid but I am more than satisfied now. Throw launcherpro on it and you wont regret it. AOSP is like a simplified less flashy version and I love it. I hope some one has a real answer for you though because I'm curious myself. Good luck.
Oh. If you do end up trying darchdroid, try out gomorrah's blackmod theme for it. It's sick.
Well, I managed to find the AOSP messaging app when I wasn't even looking for it! Go figure. It was in a thread talking about keyboard lag. Some claim that for texting, using AOSP messaging app has much less keyboard lag than the HTC messaging app. For those curious, it's here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6309233&postcount=6
Oh and it looks like it replaces the HTC messaging app; they cannot coexist.
Edit: It also occurred to me that flipz included the AOSP alarm as part of his AOSP lock screen fix!
Much less lag. The messaging app is the only one that worked when I tried replacing them though. The phone and contacts apps were giving problems. I didn't know what to do so I just went with darchdroid. If you like sense, maybe there is a way to add it to an AOSP ROM. Maybe you can just try installing the HTC Sense launcher apk on darch's ROM.

Is it possible for someone to upload the HTC Sense text tones like gamma, alpha, etc.

I have CM7 and I miss the text tones from HTC Sense 3.0. Is there any way someone can give me the tones or direct me to a site where I can download it?
Also, why is it so difficult for people to get an exact copy of the HTC Sense Clock? It's an amazing widget but I have never seen any app in the market to duplicate it successfully. Is there anyway someone can show how to get the EXACT widget clock from HTC Sense so I can put it on my CM7 phone? Thanks!

Hi,
These are from ARHD 4.1.1

Benefits of Sens 3.5?

Hi Guys!!
I am thinking about upgrading to a new rom with sense 3.5..
I would love if you guys could outline the features or differences you found between stock and the new roms, Often it takes me a week to find half of the cool features, even when reading the changelog.
Looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say.
Thanks!!

Main thing I noticed right away is 3.5 has 6 browser tabs versus 3 which has only 4.

what browser tabs? confused.
beers
*Change Amount of Homescreens
*Better status bar
*Rotation animation (w/ beats)(beats on xe rom too)
*Better Dock theme
*Smoother(much faster than 3.0, transitions are better)
*Smaller overall(compare .zip sizes...)
*Newer, successor to 3.0....
*Better app compatibility, based on newer Gingerbread version
*New apps(usage monitor, better camera UI,etc...)
Here are my Pros of the new Sense....
^this...It's progressive! Why go backwards...
Thanks for that Ace! Good list! Are there any cool new widgets?

I am going to go on 3.5 regardless, I'm just keen to hear what people find best about the new roms, as I always seem to miss the cool stuff until 3 weeks of use!
Does 3.5 use less ram than 3? How much does it typically require?

I find one of the best changes is in the phone application it has people, call history, and groups under the dialer. Only thing I didn't like is in Messages it doesn't show a count of how many messages are in a thread.

Sense 3.5 is a much much better update than 3.0..
It offers much more functionality than just eye candy. There are so many new changes. It's way faster aswell.
Also another new feature not mentioned by ace, you can have a different wallpaper for the lock screen and hime screen.
Upgrade. Now.
ROM size itself has gone from ~350Mb to ~320Mb - better features, smaller size; cleaner code.
One of the best touch-ups for me is when you press SEND on an SMS, you dont get the "please wait" wheel spinning and have to wait to get back into the Messages menu; its instant.
Small change, big difference
In Sense 3.5, when a new SMS is received or you have a missed call, you can drag the new SMS or missed call notification down to the lock ring to open directly.
Also, Sense 3.5 adds Outlook Tasks Synchronizing.
The volume change popup (after you press the vol+ or vol+), is now bigger & you can directly tap the speaker icon to mute/vibrate instead of pressing Vol- all the way down.

Why not use the custom ROMs based on the XE ROM? They are still rock stable

[Q] Combination of stock ICS and Sense 3.6/4 apps?

Hey guys, I've been away from Sensation development for a while so I'm not that current on what ROMs are available.
Basically, I've been using AOSP for a while and it's so much better at multitasking/fluidity that I don't really want to go back to Sense 3.6 or 4. However, I just don't think there's an app available that beats HTC's clock and weather functions - they really are amazing. I don't want or need access to Sense widgets, just the apps would be fine.
Is there any way to get Sense 3.6 or 4's clock and weather on a stock ICS Rom? I know it's not as simple as just chucking an apk on there because they come with additional services and libraries, so has any dev done something similar I might be able to have a look at?
Thanks for reading, I'd appreciate any advice or replies
Cheers!

Hello guys,
So I've been using Bruce's ROM for quite some time and I really love it. The only downside of CM10 is the lack Stock Sense Notification Sounds / Alarms. After looking around the web I found this package. Enjoy
