LCD Screen defect

yesterday falls my tgo1 with frontface on a sidewalk and was very scratched. My last Frontcover change action was not carefull. now my LCD Screen is defect (contact film bridge to mainboard)
know one a spare part dealer for tg01 LCD Screens, please

today i have buying a "new" tg01. i hope it comes on friday, then i can again develop my miROMs
without my beloved tg01 i can not live
BUT my damaged tg01 i like repair the lcd screen. please if one know a mobile service or spare part dealer-
then tell me that

yeh, if you get that repaired than you will have 2 tg01s to test with have you tried contacting toshiba yet?you should still be under the two year warranty.

Very sorry to hear abour your damaged TG....
I would recommend contacting the authorised Toshiba Repairer for Europe - a company called Regenersis in Scotland. I originally had dealings with them via Toshiba but have subsequently found that you can make contact direct. They have the full facilities for repair and test of the TG01 and have proven to be pretty helpful and prompt.

You're welcome for the information - yes, I saw that Regenersis had sites in Germany also - one certainly lists PDAs as one of the device types they deal with, but I understood before that it ws only the Scottish site which dealt with Toshiba. However, well worth asking if you send your old device in to be looked at.
@Novembre5 ended up sending one of his TGs to Scotland for repair last year from the US when stillm active on this forum. That was a bit more complicated than just within Europe, but shouldn't be any problem for you if you do have to send there.

not positive ( Regenersis email) :
Hi,
Please do not send this handset to Regenersis. The reason for this is we
will no longer be able to process a repair on the handset as there has
been interference. We would return this handset to you unrepaired and
labelled as BER (Beyond economical repair). This is inline with the
manufacturers warranty.

I saw a French site recently which had a step by step guide to complete dissasembly of a TG01 with photos at each stage. Unfortunately I didn't bookmark the URL and now cannot find it again. I think it was linked to from one of the other TG01 forums rather than direct from XDA. However someone on here may well have the URL - if so, please share - might be of use to Miro and also I'd be keen to have another look please....

yesterday i get my spare LCD SCREEN (bought over ebay in HongKong 67,00 eur) i have mount in my device. it works perfect! now i have 3 devices (one bought from g3nesisEXIA)

Nor does the S2, Atrix or G2x

mine tmous it does not say sensatin on it and if i want the htc logo of all i have to do is buy a new digitizer.....

Not necessarily. In the UK there are a lot of complaints that people with Vodafone branded Sensations have got their latest update before people who bought sim free unlocked versions.

Hence why I added 'lol jk' (jk=joke) to the end.
Also mine is not sim free or unlocked but it is an unbranded phone like the sim free versions so I'm also affected by this. My network is actually Talk Mobile not Vodafone but I picked Vodafone anyway because Talk Mobile run off the Vodafone network. But my phone does not have any Vodafone branding and does not have Vodafone updates, it has HTC updates.

Now that is an interesting point. I got my phone deal via buymobilephones.net and it included the Sensation and an O2 contract. However the only thing from O2 inside the box was an O2 Sim, all the rest was HTC. And there is no O2 branding on the phone, no O2 splash screens and no O2 specific apps.
So is mine and O2 phone or an unbranded phone? Anybody here know how to spot a UK O2 phone? My software version says 1.35.401.1.

Either I don't get it or it's the dumbest thread I saw lately not that we lack them here lately anyway

99% an unbranded phone. I got mine off a similar website and mine indeed was just the phone and a sim pack. Also my website advertised the phone as unlocked (sim). Therefore if there's not sim lock... well doesn't really make sense branding it. Talk Mobile probably aren't large enough a carrier to bother with branded updates etc like this, although O2 would be. But yeah I expect you have unbranded too.

Professiomal phone unlocking enquiry

Hello all, I work at a laptop/pc repair shop. We want to add to our services phone unlocking. One important thing is to make sure it is done at a professional level, without relocks after update (like many free iphone unlocking soft cause). for my own phone, for exmple, for Sony Ercsson or Samsung, I would use Wotan, but is this the way to go at a shop level? Would I have a separatepiece of soft for each brand, or do I strike a deal with each operator? We want to do as wide a range of phones as possible, and if it comes down to purchasing credits or so, we would be prepared for bulk. I would appreciate any bit of serious advise. Thanks mates.

Hello sounds interresting with phone unlocks

Dont get me wrong he isnt rich or such but now he works like one year and he got 6x times more money back and anyone is happy
SO: Buy such a box, insure your computer will take it and start working

What exactly am I looking for?
- An android smartphone that is easy to root (maybe also supports cyanogen mod?)
-with which I can use apps like faceniff and similar tools properly
- The price: I don’t care if it’s a brand or noname phone I even considered to buy it from china via aliexpress
But I think it should not exceed 150 dollars
- What I thought is needed (maybe im totally wrong with this please tell me):
-Quad core processor
-2 GB Ram
-16GB Rom
Do you have any suggestions?
All phones that I thought would be nice (Doogee, viewsonic etc.) can’t be rooted or you have to be an expert to do it

My old htc hd2 is death And i find new phone like this, with "new hardware". I think in posibility about operating systems, flashing... So any tips? I wanna switch os between WP and AD. I want buy phone as used.. A many years i flashing only my htc, so is here any new phone like that?
I prefer htc,samsung,sony....maybe xiaomi? I prefer quallity phones... money +-250€
