My rom is having FC :-
1.Messaging
2.Dialer
3.There is no network
Why does not anyone want to help leaving out few guys ??????

try deleting dalvik cache and cache also try factory reset from recovery if thease problems started after some theing u did like a app or tweak try undoing it... or if youvflashed another rom try flashing stock one with recovery or odin pm me for more help

Ummm, they aren't flashing a rom, they are COOKING a rom...

i think it's a problem of framwork- twframework mismatch. think that should solve the problem. and btw which meta INF should i use because if use creeds it won't boot . so please suggest and upload.)
avil can you please elaborate the processes which u did while cooking?

I have tried every combination but still i get FC
which theme are you using maybe it could have a problem try a different framework of another rom
edit: twframework.apk

framework-res.apk
framework.jar
lidroid-res.apk all should be of the same rom
and is your rom de-odexed

suggest you one thing.try the base of a custom rom edit it and voilla. it will work even my was the same problem. i used hyperdroid and now everything seems to be working. <i did'nt use kitchen>

How to flash romBackup your current Rom
Make a full wipe
Flash ROM
RebootEvery thing of your fone should be stock ... just stock otherwise u can also brick your phone
Change meta-inf folder.. with some rom which boots up! because many of u said rom fails to install so if u change meta-inf den only it will get a flash !

Guys just click on the signatures of both of ours and see that we are already working good in a60. So dont think we r new and ur device will brick and all that stuff. it will work bro when we start developing for our device we also dont have custom kernel as we dont have source at that tym. we dont have source now but got .32 kernel from zte claro which is just rebranded version of micromax a60 launched in Argentina

yes its necessary to go back to the stock rom,and also go in recovery wipe data, wipe cache , wipe dalvik cache and thats it now u can install the rom.............
but dont forget to wipe these things or u will get bootloop.

flashing roms without wiping cache, data and dalvik cache may brick the phone but when u do these things then hard brick will not be done
2ndly.... If rom will not boot then just again wipe everything and return back to stock one and tell the errors that will come, we will make our next version by removing these errors
I still like to commend you guys for showing interest in porting cm7 for our device

I tried many guides to cook a custom rom but having a big problem that I can't solve it
Every time I can cook the rom successfully and I flash it via CWM It shows that it has completed flashing but nothing happens to phone
I mean that there's no change as I haven't flashed any rom
I don't know where's the problem I used a stock RFS rom as a base to edit and tried the stock kernel once and CM kernel in another try.
I tried meta-inf and updater script from cm rom and many custom and stock roms but nothing happens and still facing error during flashing or no change after flashing
Please help me and thanks in.advance

Does it work with our voodoo sound mod added? there is some mention in the thread that it doesnt work with other mods.. and i think most of our current kernels have voodoo mod enabled..

Theres already a viper port quite some time ago. But its 4.0.4 . Do the people want the jb viper rom ? My One s is on viperS 4.0.4 now.

Hmm,i still have the rom with me,so if you could get the permission from the viper team,ill upload it for you guys if anyone wants it. But its not jb viper rom,its ics viper rom.
i want to ask u guys look i ported the rom from htc sensation to one s, i used the rom ported to do it the only thing i am confused abt is that whch boot,img would we hav to use the miui(port) or the cm10(base) cuz i did nt replace the boot.img becuz it did nt ask me abt it... ill be sharing the link of the rom in some tym becuz my internet connection is a bit slow,, n u guys check it out then

Try it on ur own risk bt first make a bk up n save it on ur desktop n then go to bootloder select fastboot connect the usb cable to ur phone n then flash the boot.img whch is present in the rom n then reboot bootloader n then wipe the data, delvic cache n cache.. n install the rom

boot.img was flashed succesfuly but ROM.zip wasn't be done , TWRP say FAILED (Error in Miui Port.zip (Status 6))
can someone send mi a download link off the viper port i can t see the link on site plizzz

How have you installed it? Just by taping on them, or by copying it in /system/app dir?
btw.

e.w. what version of rom do you have? I extracted phonek.apk from ST21i_11.0.A.4.22_CE

i installed it by copy to system/app..
nope..bro..its not working..my version is 11.0.A.27..
now my tipo is in icu..its say "unfortunately,keypad has stopped" in every 1 second..n need to press ok everytime..

Thanks and sorry.. e.w. you can try to flash stock rom with unchecked Wipe Data box - fresh, working system without lossing any data, apps etc.
Download deodex tipo rom
And flash it
All will be fine

go to "system/app" if there are .odex files for every .apk file , that means your rom is odex.
