I have a HTC Desire S.
I wanted to upgrade it to ICS 4.0.3
so i went into the settings section then software menu and it shows upgrade. I read the offical message about upgrade then
i clicked upgrade with phone. phone was connected to power and internet. but now phone wont turn ON. any help please?
I cant S-OFF or S-On due to no power showing on handset. But when i plug phone in to usb of PC i hear a connecting sound "Bing" that the PC knows its connected but still no power to phone. how do i get phone back to working mode?

i got a big problem i was trying to update my rom using onyx_ult_4.1.3,so i connected my htc to a usb cable then did all the steps but when the program started to transfer suddenly my htc disconnets from usb and stop i did softreset and now whe a turn on appears an colored
screenwith this msg:IPl 1.14.0002 RUU

go to the Touch section and look for a thread concerning how to rescue the phone.
maybe you can flash a new rom (you're already in bootloader menu) .. or restore something.
there is a LOT of information in the forum.
My silly brother whent and buy a HD2 not working thinking i can fix it for him and im kinda new with HTC devices.
Okay the phone starts to a black screen
Then i opened bootloader (Image1)
I copied the Official Rom Inglish to an Micro sd Fat 32 named LEOIMG.nbh.
The prosses stops at Radio with an error (Image2)
What exactly can i do??
I whant to restore the phone to his original TMO rom with no hacks.
And i dont have the usb cable for it so all has to be via Micro SD.
Please guys help me out.Oh and btw i try searching for similar post but they dint help because they were not the same problem as me.

Hello everyone,
My brother has got a Telstra HTC Desire that won't boot anymore after doing a google maps update. His phone isn't rooted, just stock Rom android 2.2
For what I understood the phone keeps on rebooting on a loop after the HTC screen.
I made him go into hboot to try to restore the original HTC Rom from the executable but the computer won't see the phone connected.
Do you know if anything can be done to fix the phone?
Please any suggestion is welcome!

Can anyone please help me with my problem.
I was trying to root my device using this toolkit HTC_QuickRoot_1.1.10_Release (1)
The process worked fine until it rebooted my sensation XL.
Now it wont turn on. I tried charging it and it is currently connected to my PC through USB,,the orange LED on the top of the device doesnt even show.
I am hoping its only a battery problem.
If anyone has had the same problem and has any fix just in case it is not a battery problem would be much appreciated.
Wrong section, this is the Sensation/Sensation XE section. Like you said, you have a Sensation XL.

need assistance with htc desire 616. was playing with the phone and all of a sudden it went off. when i tried to switch it on, it got stuck in htc logo and keeps restarting. i gave it to the dealer and they said they fixed it. however when i got the phone, the same problem started. i tried to flash the rom using sp tool and windroid, i failed as the pc does not connect.
as of today, the phone do not switch on. i can see the light in the screen coming up and goes. if i connect it to a charger or pc the phone is equal to dead.
need your expertise here to get it rectified.
