I have the new base and that doesn't allow calls to work on anything but the stock rom, how would I go about downgrading my baseband in order to run cm7?

Use these instructions and instead of V21Y_00.kdz use V21e_00.kdz.

To my understanding RUU is an executable file that must be run from a pc. There is a flashable 2.3.4 OTA posted in developement. Flash in CWM Recovery.
Here is the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1226085
I can't find one for 2.3.3 stock, but the link is for the T-Mobile version OTA.
Haha really? That's funny.....the only.thing I did from,a PC was the rooting part......everything else I thought I could do it from my phone lol. That explains.my battery drain lol

To go back to stock rom, you need a so called RUU file, which is an .exe file to be run from Windows with phone connected.

Is anyone having problems with the cellphone reception using ICS InsertCoin
5.1.1? I'm using T-mobile US and I'm noticing that, since roms were updated with the latest release base my signal is constantly dropping very often... I even tried using the image from ARHD thread, but nothing seems to work, any thoughts on this?

Does your radio and ril match?
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G with Beats Audio using xda premium
Yes they both match. I'm using the recommended radio and as far as the ril I know It's already included in the Rom... Please correct me if I'm mistaken

I don't know, I don't use that ROM. Have you checked your apn? Make sure your network is set to proper setting.
Did you flash the recommended firmwarr?

Correct-RIL included with rom.
Check rom thread for supported firmware versions, perhaps you can downgrade slightly giving you a different radio.
You can also flash radio seperately, either by fastboot if you use Mike's or Kor-ah's packages, or by pg58.img in recovery if not.
Unfortunately radio performance is specific to device/rom/carrier/RIL so experimentation is standard!

Yeah I did flash the latest firmware package by mike1986
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
I'll try experiment with different radios and will try a different Rom to see if it changes... Thanks a lot for your help!

How would one go about using a gingerbread ROM on boot manager lite with ICS firmware.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
You can NOT run a gingerbread Rom with ICS firmware. The firmware MUST match the Rom! ICS firmware is 3.32, Gingerbread firmware is different. You will not be able to run a Gingerbread Rom with the 3.32 ICS firmware. You will definitely get into trouble if you try. I'm thinking I'm understanding you correctly, you want to run a Gingerbread Rom on ICS firmware? You must use the correct firmware for Gingerbread Rom. I hope this helps you out. And I hope I understood correctly. Good luck and remember to use appropriate firmware for your Roms. Have a great day.

Who is your service provider? You could maybe double check it with them if they released the ICS update at all. (they should have though... ) You could maybe reboot your device I give it a try again? Somebody more clever might help you out...

built in updater is the same I told you.
edit2:
And one more thing! You could also have a look in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1672425 It is about RUU (Rom Update Utility). By using these you can update your device but you need to choose the right RUU for your device. Use this if you cannot get anywhere with your provider...

The answer is written in the thread I gave you and set up by kgs1992. Read all that stuff just to make sure you are familiar with that you are going to do. :good:
Just be sure you're connected to wifi and check for updates, it will prompt you to install the latest software available for your phone and region
Yes. When you tap on the check now button, a window will appear where it tells you what you are going to download. And It's better to be connected to WiFi as it will download a bigger amount of update.
