Ill flash this later when I get home. Off topic question, I see you are located in Chicago and are attending law school. Which one if you don't mind me asking? I was accepted at NU, but in the end decided not to attend. Has OCI picked back up to pre-08 hiring levels?

What version of ics? 4.0.3. Or 4.0.4?

I go to John Marshall Law School, and let me give you some advice.
No matter where you go to school, one thing matters: Getting the skills you need to be a lawyer, and making sure employers know you have them.
OCI used to be the ticket to a great job at a great firm, if you had some combination of grades/resume/school prestige/etc., no longer.
After the recession employers do not care what the numbers say, because they do not want to spend the money to teach a bookworm how to practice. So the best way to get a job is to learn how to practice. Learn what it is to be a lawyer, so you can say to that employer: You want me because the minute I walk in the door I'll make you money.
Be the best of both worlds book and street wisdom, and you will get a job.

Nice... could possibly be a daily for some.
1. 3G due to HSPA+ band difference between Tmobile and ATT?
(Due to ATT 4G and 4G LTE?)
2. Had to manually set APN to ATT in order for my data to work.

3. At 1st boot, wifi would not turn on. Flashed unsecured from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26176483&postcount=1
Reboot and wifi works.
4. Wifi Calling Will Not Work Due to SIM card validation Fails on T-Mobile.

I don't understand why so many remove Sprint Nav... considering just about everyone with this phone has it included free with their plan... and Google Nav isn't always accurate and doesn't route around traffic.

I'm sorry but can anyone care to explain what's the difference on deodex'd or not deodex'd?
wifi tethering
Does the WiFi tethering work on this Rom, it doesn't seem to be working on the other 2.2 roms.
is the market still working cause i removed talk before and i could not download from the market
Update:
Working on an undervolt/overclock kernel. Should be coming soon. Keep an eye out
As for my home screen, I didnt add the background to the rom as i should of, so i am going to upload it to the 2nd post due to the amount of people that have asked me for it I personally think it looks clean

Here is my take. I personally run an odex'd rom. Deodex'n from my understanding saves you space, and also allows you to uninstall system apps, but also could affect performance of the rom. If somone else wants to chime in on it, please be my guest.

I know Deodexed/Odexed come in to play as far as themes go, but how i dont know. I thought you had to have a deodexed rom in order to theme it. Is that just for creating themes? or do you have to have deodexed to install a theme. Does it matter to the end-user or just the dev when it comes to themes..?

[ROM][PORT][3G works!](GB|2.3.7) Lewa OS

Hello everyone!
I have been using a ton of roms that are on here, So now I want to give what I can handle to the community!
This looks a bit like MIUI, but has the horsepower of CyanogenMod. I like the look of these Chinese ROMs so i decided to port one
The base rom I used is CM7.2 RC2
Big thanks to blindndumb for the great porting guide and to the team that made lewa os.
Also thank you to the cm team for the awesome base rom!
And also thank you votproductions for helping me making a good thread layout.
Thank You mazdarider23 for kinda/sorta helping a newb
DISCLAIMER:This is ROM is beta, and there are just a bit of bugs on this rom. Also updates wont come out as fast as recognized developer, since I'm a beginner and I have a bit of school left

[5/23] Beta 2: http://db.tt/SGLLbYr8
[5/22] Beta (Initial release):[/B] http://db.tt/fd1PCZa4
Known issues:
I need someone to test out MMS to see if it is working.
Default File Manager and Music app does not work.
Roaming indicator is on and there is a roaming symbol, but it isn't roaming
When someone calls you, there's no lockscreen when you go to answer the phone. so there isnt a way to answer it when people call :/
When you reboot it is pretty hard to get 3G back.

I have flashed this ROM my device a few times, and it didn’t break, but your experience might be different, so you are flashing at your own risk.
And soon I would love to do a port of JoyOS, but after I squash some of those bugs!
WOW these are popping everywhere since they ran that article on how to port LewaOS and JoyOS to any device...hahahahahahha
OH and if you want...NOT forcing your hand on this, PM me and I can tell you how to fix the majority of your problems that you're having considering I ported this about a month ago

Yea it does mean that you are roaming, but that's mainly because mobile data isn't working yet. Next update it should have 3g working, since I may have a fix.
Be sure to look for it in a day or so
Chinese developers are amazing. These roms, and of course MIUI, are very polished and have so much more functions than the normal GB/ICS rom.

Completely agree with you on that one. Personally, I prefer MIUI GB, but I prefer stock (CM9) ICS. Just a matter of those features really (and what's available for the phone).
3G connectivity! (Go to Settings, tap Mobile Networks, tap Access Point Names, and check the circle next to Sprint)
I need someone to test MMS also
There is still the roaming symbol and Roaming Indicator on issue but the phone inst roaming. I guess that little issue haunts some Lewa ROMS
Is anyone getting 3G? and is MMS working?
3G is working on mine but I dont know about anyone else though
Both 3G and MMS are working on my phone.
EDIT: 3G went away after rebooting and I can't get it back on

I think that may be a CM10 bug. Im on SlimBean 2.6 and have the same issue. Not just with screenshots but any picture sent via mms. On my end it will be clear as a bell but when I send MMS it gets all blurry and crappy looking.
Just loaded V4 on my TF700 yesterday. I'll have to give this a shot on the phone later today.

It's there, under the baked options. I think it even says hardware as the menu option.
This is a really interesting build. Not sure why I didn't try this earlier, the S3 looks fantastic showing blacks! One small thing, you guys need to make the whole gapps thing easier. It's confusing on the site, and I had to follow other links to get parts and install things separately etc. It does a disservice to showing off part of what's so beautiful about your work.
Thanks!

TFQ is proud to present Paranoid Android for the SGS4G
First thank you goes to CM & ParanoidAndroid
From the Paranoid Android Homepage
"To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks.
This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode.
This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even system components individually.
Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course.
Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on.
This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size.
You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to.
You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot.
You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode.
Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself.
This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone."
Source and Changelog

Your warranty is now void.
"I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it!
YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you."
Instructions:
1. Reboot to cwm (this can be done from gb or ics with cwm 5.0.2.8 or higher).
2. Wipe data (back it up before hand).
3. Format System.
4. Flash ROM + gapps
5. Reboot let it sit for 5 then do the following:
1. Boot up without a sim
2. Once booted up go thru setup wizard.
3. Then put in airplane mode.
4. Reboot with sim in.
5. Quickly go to system settings > more > mobile networks take out of airplane mode, uncheck data (if this takes you a while the phone will lock up and reboot).
6. Then click 2g network.
7. Check data and it should work.

Bug List:
If it isn't working on CyanogenMod 10 for SGS4G it’s not working here.
When you come across anything please let us know. Logcats will be very helpful with those instances.
Thanks! (in chronological order)
krylon360 and Raverx3x for helping me on a personal level when I hard bricked my phone on my first flash 3 days after rooting.
TeamAcid: For all of their awesome work. Past, present & future.
daothanhduy1996 & Beastmode: For letting me get my feet wet by translating.
TeamFah-Q: For letting me test and then asking me to be part of their team.
And again Beastmode for guiding me through this build (notice the poor grammar Beastmode?)
Beastmode, hechoen & daothanhduy1996 for testing.
GFX.myst for hosting
Quite literally everyone on XDA.
Then of course there’s the little people: Billy Barty, Hervé Villechaize, the Oompa Loompa’s, the Munchkins (special shout out to the lollipop kids), et al.

The screenies are from a previous unreleased build. The dpi in this release is more consistent with er1kmm's paaranoidANDROID-1.6a-UNOFFICIAL. To change dpi for individual apps go to settings > Paranoid Settings > apps.
Oooooo mi dios esto es impresionante...
Awesome,fantastic...great job

Excellent point. This thread was created less that two hours after the linked build finished so I hadn't taken current screenshots. I'll change them as soon as I can.
Screenies updated. :cyclops:

Re: [ROM][4.1.2]Paranoid Android - SGS4G [v2.99][ALPHA]
ParanoidAndroid has been jacking with their source which has had me going crazy for weeks. I'll keep y'all up to date as best I can.

I would really hope the better changes PA is making to their code is because of the new features I saw on the Nexus 4 PA! Such as the Pie and PA Colors! Plus hoping eventually for fixes to some of the bugs...especially the 4g and wifi!
Also wondering how hard is it to port ROMs from the SGS Vibrant to the SGS4G? There is already an awesome group of developers working topoetthe new Nexus 4 PA ROM to the Vibrant and SGS2! Would love to see those features!!!

Due to a myriad of issues with PA (changes, server problems which may lead to them changing servers, etc.) I haven't been able to successfully sync the source repository. Without the source I can't make any changes. PIE became open source only yesterday. Please use the Q&A for this project to post questions regarding it. Other questions in their appropriate place. Thank you.

Update Rumor
I was finally able to get the source to download Monday and eventually got it to build yet it doesn't quite work yet since it's 4.2.1  so this will probably need to be put on hold until the 4.2.1 kernel is closer to stable.
Thread Owner Change
I am turning this thread over to my teammate thomas.raines. He has the 4.1.2 source which is no longer available on GitHub. I appreciate everyone's patience with me in the lack of support I have been able to provide for this ROM. Thomas will do an excellent job.

Release Notes v2.0
T-Mobile and other carriers may need to enter APN manually
Some people may see a lower signal and some report not getting MMS. Use a third party MMS app.
First time you connect to PC you may have to go to Settings -> PC Connection and select the default connection type
This ROM does not have Text Link. In the future I may look for a newer base with Text Link

Thank you sir!
Remember this is still beta and I got some good plans for this ROM.
This is like the first time I have had off from work (and remained sober) since I got the phone.
A lit of things to be tested posted in post #2.
Any and all feedback is requested.
Enjoy!

Lol! You and me both. Going to try this out now. Will Xposed mods work with this? I'm using the black status bar mod and remove brightness slider with CleanRom 1.1 and it's flawless.
So this rom uses the at&t base and not the bell.one right?
Lol. Just tried to dirty flash over 1.1 even though I knew it was a different base. System ui force closed non stop. Just throwing that out there for anyone who was going to ask if they could. Time to back my apps up
Thanks for all your time man!

Everything seems fine just far. I set my APN to:
name: T-Mobile LTE
APN: fast.t-mobile.com
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
APN Type: default,mms,supl
APN protocol: IPv4
Since thats what the phone came with from TMobile. So I'm not sure how the ones you had in there works.
The phone also had:
Name: T-Mobile IMS
APN: ims
MCC:310
MNC260
APN Type: ims
APN Protocol: IPv6
listed in in OEM, but I'm not sure what its for.
I've also noticed that I can no longer do this tweak: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2479892
I am told connection problem or invalid MMI code
