MIUI v4 - T-Mobile LG G2x

This rom I dug up from February. It is super smooth and it is the real MIUI ics. I love Ice Cream Sandwich and the MIUI. Its sad that don't have data working on this stable build? I'm not much of a developer but if we got data working on the cm9 builds why hasn't this rom been updated yet? Could someone look into this? I'm pretty sure this is based off cm9. The only major thing wrong with it is the data doesn't work and that is a big problem for me. I ran the rom and it is smooth as butter. I tried flashing the newest harsh kernel on it. It worked! It made everything so much more smooth even though it was already smooth....but.. the data still didn't work. I was simply curious. If any developer reads this please look into getting the data working on this rom. I'll appreciate it so much and I'm sure a large handful of other people will too.

Thanks for your time!

I'd love this

It's not real ics, it just has some of the framework baked in. The ICS roms in the development section are as close to real ics we have so far.

It's almost exactly 4.0.3. It even lets you use 4.0.3 launchers. Only thing I've noticed is the lockscreen is not the stock miui v4. Everything else seems fine. The point is if we can have cm9 on her we should be able to get miui v4 on here. I'm not trying to sound annoying or anything but this is just a suggestion. I will love anyone who is able to get data working on this rom. I love it. I just can't use a rom with out data.

It IS real ICS. That guy ported the REAL ICS miui build but couldn't get data working.

My bad, I was under the impression it was one of the old fake ics MIUI.

This is the MIUI SMS apk. If this could be ported to MDPI it would be awesome. I'm seeing what I can right now but have minor experience.

Does this work on cm6 roms for desire?
Tried to install on my EVO rooted with Fresh and got "Application not Installed" after it asked if it was ok to replace system application. If anyone has any luck let me know I love their SMS/MMS app. Rom isnt stable enough for me to want to use it day to day.
doesn't work on my Galaxy S i9000 2.2
I did eveything ok though..I install lots of system apps via adb but this crash when i run it..
I took a look at app's source code and fount a few things that seemed rom-dependent - like androidverscrolling. I guess that's why it won't run on other roms.

Which ROMs support the new V21Y???

Just wanted to start a thread to see which ROMs support the new V21Y March 2012 Baseband. I received updates on both of my G2x, installed CWM on both, and ready to install a few ICS ROMs. I would like to know which ROMs support the new baseband and your experience with those ROMs.
Why I ask? I heard the V21Y has better GPS and such.

Stop asking!
None of the ICS ROMs currently support this.

Cyanogenmod rc3
Sent from my myTouch_4G_Slide using XDA
you can run cyanogenmod 7.2 RC 3 on it and get the cm7 ICS theme and be good to go until eaglesblood works the patch out. I am running it as we speak and have been since yesterday and have zero issues with this workaround. and BTW cm7.2 RC 3 has been far above and beyond the other options for the 2.3.4 v21y I have tried as of yet
here is a screenshot of my current setup of CM7.2 RC3 with the CM7 ICS theme:

Hows the battery life on cm7.2 rc3? I'm currently running on BuRom with faux 14b2.
I haven't noticed a difference as far as battery life between burom and cm7

Best ROM to use on infuse

So I recently got my new replacement infuse which came with 2.3.6 already running. Are there any "must have" Roms or should the latest version of gingerbread be good?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app

I rooted and slightly modified stock 2.3.6 to my liking. Much of the time, I stick with that, for the sake of knowing that everything works properly. When I'm in a more heavily modded kinda mood, I'm usually using either CM7 or Paranoid Android.
Can we just please start IP banning people that don't freaking read the stickies?

CM10 JB looks amazing though.

Why can't people use the search function before posting. There are so many threads on this subject. It's like your asking for people to make jokes. So my choice for best ROM is the all new jelly bean oNeClIcK_SeARcH. Flash this ROM and it will only display search widgets. Although this ROM many be tricky at first, eventually the user will understand the glory that is the search button. Sorry up late, but seriously when in doubt, search it first.

I was busy last night experimenting with a possible new look for TigerBlood. This one looks promising but I am somewhat worried that it will stray pretty far from the Bi-Winning Redux look. What do you guys think? Do you want a makeover?
Doesn't look bad. I am a color person myself.

I say make this into a theme for either KJ2 or KG2 and then take it from there(meaning, release as stock themed and/or make it its own ROM). That's just my opinion, though.
There's already too many ROMs based on KG2/KJ2 with just different skins/apps/themes etc - basicly they are all the same, so are we really need another one? That's only my opinion, of course. I'm waiting for Bhundven's release.

Yeah, skip it. I'll make it into a theme. I did make a discovery just now.
I took the firmware from the Epic 4G CM 6.2 rom and I'm currently using it on my Epic SK4G rom.
Just thought you all should know that it's working flawlessly.
EDIT: I wonder if I can use the entire rom with the Bali kernel? Hmmm.

I was reading the specs of that device and, well it is not a very powerful device either.
Also I was reading the post and it says that the rom runs smoothly in that Phone
and i was wondering how it would Run in ours.
~ Any answers are appreciated
Thanks.
My quick look at it is that it is a Gingerbread ROM. If someone wanted to spend the time, it could probably be made to work.
Big "if" on that one, in my opinion, for a GB ROM. There are already several solid, stable, and well-proven GB ROMs out there for the SGS4G.

GB roms are the funnest to modify (for this phone, anyways).

They are!, they're the most stable and well, battery Life is still the best on GB for this device in my opinion
Im gonna give it a try and see how hard is to port this to our devices Xp
Well, speaking of GB... I've started on yet another cleanup kernel, except this time I'm getting some help from jeffsf.
Gonna post something in development here soon.
