I'm running the latest ICS leak for the rezound which is based off the ICS for the One S. There is a problem with weblinks opening up in the browser instead of apps (such as YouTube/Play Store) since HTC added a new setting called App Associations.
I posted all over the place and didn't get any help, so I emailed HTC but instead of Rezound, I told them I have the One S. They finally replied, but now they want a crapload of information about the One S that I don't have. I don't know what to do about the device information they need.
Anybody want to help?
Congratulations on your HTC One S! I know how handy it is to open links with their associated applications and I will be happy to assist. I am seeing the same behavior on a device in the office so I would like to escalate this issue for tracking purposes. This won't get us an immediate resolution but it is just a way for us to let the right people in HTC know what kind of issues you are experiencing.

I'm in the process of talking with HTC about this issue. Essentially they had to remove the option of having a dialog popup to allow you to go into YouTube because of an Apple lawsuit.
All American ROMs from HTC have this limitation, but hopefully they'll find some kind of a workaround. I have a phone call scheduled with them tomorrow.
I have the same issue, I never get prompted to "complete action using" the browser always opens the mobile site instead of the app I have called htc and t mobile to no avail.

I was wondering if that was the issue. Wow Apple ia seriously desperate to destroy Android piece by piece... So much for innovation Cupertino!

Go to settings>app associations. From there you can set what app opens with actions. I notices this was absent in the EU based roms, but us roms should have it.

This seems to have been solved: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1657319 (see post #7). I tried this and it worked perfectly for me with the link you posted above - I was given the choice of which app to use to open the link.
This fix creates a new problem, however -- it breaks QR code scanners... Looks like this isn't a complete fix, after all.

suggest features. It is my belief that addressing issues is best done individually by phone, so if something doesn't work, let me know and I will fix it ASAP.

I use the free version, and I am having problems with it since the update. I tap to update the widget (or press update in the app) and it seems to get stuck updating. The spinning icon animation appears and doesn't stop or go away for ages, seems like its been spinning for half the day now. Several USSD code running and done messages popup seemingly at random once updating begins.
The update has not gone well for me it seems on my Desire S with stock rom.
I'm going clear out my old ussd entries and widgets and start again, see if that helps.
**Update** cleared out my ussds and widgets and reinstalled the app. seems to be working properly now. Looks like a few ppl have had this issue judging by the market comments and doing a clean install seems to prevent them.
Guys ive already made a bugfix, but there is some sort of problem with the markets dashboard, cant seem to be able to publish anything right now! Please check tomorrow morning!

My app is called PulseLA and I am attempting to create a social media application that ranks people, food, movies, cars, etc…. for people to share what they love, hate, and always wanted to do… I have not tested this application on many devices and for some this app is getting (sort of smooth) and for others it’s a total disaster! Getting a white screen, when clicking on other tabs the loading animation plays but nothing happens. Clicking camera tab brings up 'create account' page. Notice a flashing 'camera roll' screen before creating account shows. Very iPhone-ish. Star = Favs? Finally loaded. Most of the other tabs don't. Just a lil advise, try to make the app as Android-ish as possible. A lot people hate, hate, hate direct iPhone ports to Android. At least have some sort of ICS elements in it.

This is actually the build for android and was not meant to be iPhone ish =[ However, we do need to go back in and redesign the app for better interface. Are there any apps that you think would be a good idea for me to look at to get a better idea of Android interfaces?
In the future the first tab which is feed will not be clickable as it is based on followers. Because you did not sign up for an account it will obviously be empty =] Upon signing up for an account you will randomly follow 5 people.
Loading the Star the first time is very slow. It will go faster on a wifi connection.
The star is a global ranking based on the top categories. If you were to click the Camera button then you could add things your opinion on just about anything based on the categories. *Note these are not working perfect and search is almost useless at this point. So you should be able to look up under category (things) movies, phones, brand names, food, etc...
So far thank you all for initial testing. What I really need some feedback on is whether or not facebook connect works as I've had a lot of problems at this front. Also if you are able to submit a camera pulse (In the app Camera Tab -> Use Camera) as some devices this crashes the app.

When the replacement portal will be released, it would be good to have an online cloud-based way to sync contacts, along with support for hi-def (720p+) contact images.
This is one of the oldest Android bugs on record (actually a Contacts/Mail team issue) and we're forced to sync Gmail Contacts once you set up a google contact on any Android phone. If we can use htcsense.com (or whatever's gonna be called whenever released) as an alternative to Gmail Contacts it would be awesome!
30FPS and higher bitrate video support (OneX/S specific)
This one is pretty easy to figure out....24FPS and 10mbps don't do the OneX justice. The TF300 which is a Tegra3 tablet can do 29FPS and 18mbps with no issues, so it's not a HW limitation.

Maybe any of you know how to customize Calling In (and maybe Call out) screen to see other contact info if exist like. Company name, address, work title etc.
Most of us does not have only Name and Phone Number in Contacts. I have more that 2000 contacts and many of them are same name like John from Company A and John from Company B. Unfortunately when they are calling I see only Name and Phone number (and picture where normally I do not have )
Please if there is any customization possibility to see more contact info when calling please help to solve it.

Free version looks promising however little overloaded with functions and possibilities. The Free version made my phone hand few times.
