If possible, I would try a different sd card. Some people have had similar problems when just transferring large files using USB file access mode (phone reboots or freezes requiring battery pull).
In such a scenario, without a computer, it is tough. You may want to check if there is a kind soul out here who can split a rom to 6 pieces of 16MB each, and give you 5 links in a page. Then you can download each individually which the card can handle. Then (if you have a terminal emulator) you can "cat" the pieces into a large file.
I Have a pc, its Just when I trie move a file to my phone, windows explorer crashes

I had this issue before. Switched sdcard and now my cellphone is working perfectly. I'd say to buy a new microSD card.
Guess ill Have to do that

Place the zip in the /openrecovery/updates folder on your sdcard & boot into Open Recovery (hold in the volume up while turning on your phone) & apply the update.
Thanks.

What?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
All SD cards have a class. Class 2 to 10 ten being The best .the better the class The better the file transfer. Cause it sounds like you got a bad download. also did you wipe cache dalvic cache format system before updating to cm7

This was happening on stock too.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Then I would say flash back to stock and send it in for warranty

THANK YOU! I'll try that when he's not using it. However how would the SD card cause his problem?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
I fought with this issue for a long time, ended up using EaglesBlood's ROM and it didn't have the same issue. It's also not happening with EB's ICS ROM. Just in case the SD card isn't the problem...
The SD card could have a bad file on it or if its not a higher class it could lose some important files when transfering
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
SD was not the issue, I'll look into EaglesBlood's ROM now
The same thing started happening with my phone recently. It stays black when trying to wake the device and stays black during a phone call. It's only happening sporadically though. Kind of like a bratty child, only working when it wants to.
I've had this phone for about three months now but I rooted this device the same day it came out the box. I'm running CM7.1.01 Stable.
My SD card is a 32GB class 10, but I don't see how this could be an issue with the ROM.
When it happens and it won't respond to power button or volume key I just yank the battery and reboot..
Could it be a hardware issue?
I deleted all the files on the internal phone. So know its pretty much plastic that can only charge and vibrates when you try to turn it on and doesnt stop.
It would really help me if you guys downloaded SUT LR.
Go to download mode on the phone (power+volume down)'
Then connect to your computer
Finish downloading the driver then go on MOBILE in Computer and please copy the files into download or document and send me the file on mediafire or something like that. Please anyone that can help me because my phone is totally not working anymore. And im going to need all the files in MOBILE
where are you located ?

You can use a tweak to overcome your problem.
DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
As you have your phone rooted, go to /system/build.prop and edit it with a text editor (You can use Root Manager for this process) and add this line at the bottom of the page
"ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1" (without quotes)
After adding this line carefully reboot your phone and clear memory with your phone's task manager and you can observe a much of ram left.
CAUTION: DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG WITH YOUR PHONE.

If you have fast sdcard or internal card you can SWAP. search it. it's basically partitioning your sdcard to be a part of the RAM

If there is a shortage of ram, I don't think locking the launcher in memory will help.

But what i think is that with this tweak all the unwanted background apps get cleared off leaving a wide range of ram to use.

Try marking "grant" in default access option and see if it helps.

I tried that but it didnt work... i thought the root might have been taken away by some app so i tried rerooting it but it got stuck on Starting ADB Server, then i thought, maybe i can unroot it, so i downloaded a root uninstaller but it needed root access which it cant verify

Friend
Try to enhance ur phone performance by installing v6 super charger....it speeds up your ram and phone.......
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app
RAM-expander allows you to make extra ram available, as a swapfile on your sd card.
You need a fast card for this, but the dev has a utility you can run first to check compatibility.
Also look at auto memory killer, which is not a task killer rather it manages the minfrees, so your can keep as much memory free as possible

Started having an issue with dirty unicorns so I went to wipe in recovery and I tried installing a new rom and it failed. Next time I tried wipe it says unable to mount /system. Tried mounting sdcard0 and same issue, unable to mount /sdcard0. Haven't hooked up to PC yet at work all day. Any ideas? Will upload logs after work. You might have to Odin flash the stock firmware. Sdcard0 is the internal sdcard. It might be hardware failure. I'd flash the stock firmware and see if you still have the problem
