What is the best ICS custom rom for you? With the least bugs. Thanks! and kindly include the bugs if ever there is, and the battery life.. Thanks.
there is no stable ICS custom rom as of now.
each ICS custom rom have common bugs like no video recording,no video playback,no UMS(USB mass storage).
but if you're ok with these then you can try CM9 by Dhiru.
You also can try carbon aokp Ics

a. ICS/AOKP roms including cm9, cm7 and other cRom.
or
b. GB stock and cRom.
and what are the advantages of ICS/AOKP roms?
Sorry i got wrong grammar there didn't notice.
Unless you are a developer/tester..i would advise u to stick to stock or some stock custom rom based on gb..even cm7 and miui based on gb are not entirely stable n have some bugs
press thanks if I helped!

Hey guys!! I was thinking of which cutom ROM to flash to. I am now currently on stock DXKP9. I need a ROM that is bug free unlike CM9 or MIUI with pretty major bugs although there are not much bugs. How about titanium ROM? I heard its on 4.0.4 and does not have bugs? I am thinking on whether to flash that or to flash to Poseidon DXKP9 Extreme. Thx!
Titanium is not 4.0 ....its just made t show 4.0 ...its a gb based ....I think u should install roms to see what is there to ur liking....most gb roms are bug free;so u can try any of those roms

Which one do you prefer?
When I was in gb I tried almost all roms;I think try titanium or Poseidon whichever cause I think they are the two roms without many bugs....android revolution by krazzzy was also great...I think u should flash and be on the from then decide cause choices vary from person to person

MIUI is cool too.
Infinite themes! Literally
Best looking ROM ever!
You will fall in love with the LockScreens.
But again, it's not bug-free.
Thx all! I need a bug free ROM for daily use. Thx!
MIUI v10.5
Go for MIUI v10.5. There are a few bugs, yes, but no show stoppers. It can be used on a daily basis. Fantastic stability, smoothness and visually very appealing. Try it once, and all other UIs start looking half baked and ugly.
Treat yourself to eye candy, and not eye sore ROMs.

Thx for advice! I may be trying MIUI after Frankenstain releases next release cos its said to be more stable and bug free What ROM u using btw?
Just wanted to know which AOKP/AOSP rom has given u guys the best daily driver experience? I've tried a few but I kept getting a phone audio bug and I can't use it. I really just want a DD. Thanks guys.

What is the audio bug?
All of the aosp roms are based on cm9 i believe so they will all have similar bugs. I am using a nightly build of cm9 and haven't noticed any audio problems. It's a great rom.
Hi, I'm new to this device as a friend gave it to me. I've read a lot about flashing, stock and custom roms but I can't see a stable custom rom. As far as I've understood ICS and up roms are still not stable enough, so I may go for a GB rom but don't know what.
BTW if I go to a stock rom is there a way to maintain CWM or would I have to flash it again after flashing stock?
Best & stable Gingerbread rom:

Follow the instructions carefully.
Good luck!

You read a lot and you can't see a stable custom ics/jb ROM??? My advice: Stay at GB... Stock rom is the best for you.

Probably this is a best solution for this moment I'm using this rom. Easy to install and easy to use. I'ts smooth quick and solid on my SG I9003 SCL
Thanks for your recommendations but any of that roms have worked 'cause I'm having this problem. I've installed Bam's Custom Kernel and 4ext convertor script and I'm able to get /data working, so then I flash any of that custom roms but I'm stuck again on bootloops.
this one also very good

GB ROM: The Frankenstein Mod is very good(no bugs and a lot of bloatware removed). I used it for many months and then switched to Alpha 5.
Jelly Bean: Dhiru's Alpha 5
The best of all roms for the SL cleaner faster and 4.2.2!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2299301&page=82
Try the new 4.2.2 ROM from master Dirhu with Kernel 3.0
It has some few bugs at the moment but it is working very very smoothly (better than a sock one). My phone is like a new one with this ROM.
It comes with Cyanogenmod 10.1

LoLaTiOn already made a supersmooooth rom based on this rom....

Stock Rom Suits U The Best Here it Is DDMF1 Stock Firmware
Hello Developers! :highfive:
I have been flashing my device with new ROM's since a long time. I tried almost all type of ROM's. The basic query i have about CM9 ROM's is that why does the CM9 ROM start lagging and malfunctioning after some time? Most of the CM9 ROM's i used started lagging after a few days. Is it because I'm flashing it the wrong way? Or what? Is there a solution to this?
today i has flashed a cm9 without any bug, it's faster, but i will install various apps to see if it become slower than today

Indeed CM9 is laggy, but i encounter 2 of them to be very cool.
I recently installed KITKAT SANDWICH V 1.0 then installed the odex script from original link and full odex the rom, after that it is awesome
and for sd-ext i used Mount2SD.
PS: Sometimes flashing a good kernel makes the difference, sometimes a performance script....depends on the rom.

I was actually gonna download that ROM and flash it.. But after reading that it is based on CM9 i didnt... Does it really work flawlessly? Since when are you using that ROM?
If you odex it it's gonna fly. The only thing that bugs me is that i get random soft reboots because of low ram

you can install MIUIv4 caspian series.
it's not based on CM9, is based in AOSP but both are 4.0.4 ICS.
It's really fast! Please try this rom, its odexed and too fast and stable.
There arent reboots.
