Hi
I used a MOD to make stock video camera oversample audio for better quality. I need this to record live shows with my SGS 4G, otherwise it absolutely distorted.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1567092
The problem is that, as a result of this MOD, the video-audio is out of sync...
I was told AVIDemux can fix this and it has a linux version but no android version.
http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/download.html
I haven't tried linux on android MOD which possibly can run AVIDemux on it, but if someone has a solution to this I'd appreciate that.
Thanks!

I get a video not optimized for mobile error now when I try to watch a video on the web browser on my G2. Before I installed gingervillian I could watch them fine. Has anyone else had this problem and if so is there a fix for it?

The video does play but it is distorted I just want to add. I have tried reinstalling the rom as well as updating the kernel. Someone please tell me I'm not the only one with this issue.

There's a few apps out there, DSP Manager and MusicFX but I haven't found anything like Voodoo sound for the Galaxy S, which is SICK. We gotta convince supercurio to get an Inspire
Like that would be hard..XD

Ok thanks ill try dsp, does it work with any kernel

You wouldn't have a link to dsp I searched xda and the two dsp zip files I found keep aborting in recovery I don't know if its because I have recovery 3.0

you need a supported kernel like the one in cyanogen 7 to use the DSP Manager app. DSP comes in cyan 7 ROM anyway...
OP did you try enabling the SRS function in audio? i heard it increases the volume.
also if any 2.3 ROMs are out there, a new API lets us now tap in to the volume so this would probably work on any 2.3 ROM:

This looks like a nice and simple app. I know the stock camera has a panorama option but the quality is pretty bad. I'm thinking this should have much better quality. So can anyone port it?

Seems rather interesting...you should flash the one for i900 and see what happens
I flashed the script with clockwork and then installed the apk like normal. The application is amazing, can't wait to try it out doors

It works with the script for the SGS I9000. The resolution is not the full camera resolution though, more like camcorder resolution.
I just installed as an apk if you guys want it email me [email protected]
Well I have to amend that. It works with the script from I9000 (panorama-fix-SGS_i9000.zip) but I have to keep reinstalling the apk file to make it work. Did anyone else have that problem?
Anybody installed Flash Player 11?
How is it?
Yes. I guess. What you need to do?

Seems to handle some higher resolution vids better... I can watch youtube videos at 720p with no lag... 1080p is a chopfest though
The reason i posted this question was.
People complianed that Flash Player 10.3 makes the experience very sluggish.
So, many have reverted to 10.2 including me.
That is why wanted know how 11 fares in our phones.
11 is much better...jhaste was right on the money

480p videos itself are in not watchable in my mobile phone running MIUI.
So I have reverted back to 10.2

Okay so I looked all over xda, play store, xposed downloaded , Mahdi customization and pimp my ROM. I can't find anything that allows audio for screen recordings. I got this really cool megaman thing going on with my n5. Wallpapers and colors and sounds. I wanted to record it with the sound on. Any pointers?

I noticed it was recording via microphone so maybe it will capture the audio you want. Just dont sneeze cause you'll have to start again

That ^^ and I do know that ROM's have incorporated Audio Recording with Screen Recording. The original commit was made for ChameleonOS so they definitely have it. Other ROM's have it built in as well. As for which ones, you will have to do some research
I'll try the app. I'm currently running Mahdi. Good stuff. I'll read up on the Dev pages. Hope I find it baked in if the app doesn't work.

Or you can just plug a line in from phone to PC and record the audio then mix together.
That's how i usually do it.
This is an old video from my HTC one x.
I had to use a video recorder for the video because there want any way to record android video on the tegra3 soc at the time but I just used the headphone Jack to line in on pc to record and then mix together and you get something like this.

If U are using CyanogenMod U can probably try CyanogenMod Screencast.
