[Q] Facebook for htc sense not showing up in accounts & sync

i am trying to find and add facebook for htc sense account on my custom rom Android Revolution HD Android Revolution HD 4.1.13.I cant seem to find how to add this account when i am uploading a pic and i click the share button i see that it is there but i can not add the acoount.Can somebody help me please

settings>account&sync>add account

facebook for htc sense is not in accounts & sync

It's not any more, it's an app which will ask for permission like other apps will in Facebook

the facebook app include also the htc one since ics

Goodmorning..
I have a little problem with the original twitter app...
I can't sync the contact of twitter with my phone contact.. i try all but doesn't work..
I try with some ROM, in the sense rom i can sync only with twitter for htc sense and in the no sense rom the sync doesn't work..
Any solution?

Well, for Sense ROMs, the Twitter for Sense is custom built for sync purposes... So if that is working you needn't bother with the Twitter app anyway. That takes care of problem no 1
As for syncing contacts on the non-Sense ROM (tickles me every-time I type that)... which one are you talking about?
P.S. : As far as contact syncing goes, you won't find anything better than Sense! Period.

At now i don't have a Sense with ROM..
And with the Twitter app i can't sync the contact with the phone becouse don't work..
I like to know if there is an app or a solution for solve this problem..

Unfortunately I cant use my playstore, google+ & Gmail on my HTC sensation
All of them will run but I cant use my existing accounts or create any new account
What is the problem?????

I'm sure you mean Facebook for HTC Sense.
That actually is a system application that syncs all Facebook data with your HTC phone.
It's alright if you don't have it. It is still present on your phone, you just can't access it directly.
(For example, if you go to people and check your Facebook contacts, it will have the person's latest updates, photos, etc. That is how Facebook for HTC Sense works.)

i don't have it even in accounts i can't add account for facebook for HTC sens
or widget

Is it possible for you to go to People and check your Facebook contacts, it will have the person's latest updates, photos, etc.
As for the widget, you have to use Friend Stream

It doesn't matter, because Facebook for HTC Sense is only responsible for integrating Facebook contacts into your phone and providing you access to their photos and updates through the People application. So, don't worry, you have it on your phone, it just doesn't show up in Accounts & Sync anymore.

All of the Facebook versions I've used have had the options to sync my friends into my contacts and I've used many, I switch roms very often and so download Facebook regularly.

[Q] Facebook for htc sense disappeared after updating to ics

Hello everyone,
So I'm new here (bla, bla, bla)... Well, I've been searching for a fix to my problem that is that since I updated to ICS, official update from T-Mobile, "Facebook for HTC Sense" disappeared in the settings menu of "Account & sync" I just have the one just called "Facebook," and if I press Add account Facebook for HTC Sense won't show up. The problem is that I can see "Facebook for HTC Sense" in my apps list, and also when I go to a contact profile I can kind of see it. Also, when I link my contacts I just can link it to the one called "Facebook", I think because the other disappeared, and it really pisses me off, since it never updates and the contact avatars remains the same always.

Bump because I have this issue as well.
I no longer have the option to sync "Facebook for HTC Sense" only under accounts. I do not wish to sync the official Facebook app. Any ideas?

According to HTC.com support forum, they integrate the Facebook for HTC Sense with the Facebook apps so all syncing have to be done using the Facebook apps. Have to say goodbye to Facebook for HTC Sense now...

Yes, Facebook app does all the sync, so no need for Sense to do it anymore.
