What do you mean by simple mobile? You mean feature phones?

I tried flashing this but after reboot it tells me the wifi calling cannot open. The cache and data are wiped but still doesn't work, should I uninstall the app completely and try again with this zip?
edit- fixed it, uninstalled using titanium and then flashed the zip, seems like it did the job.

What rom are you running? How about a LogCat ect ect ect

As HTC decided not to go the route that I had anticipated that they would. I'll re-open my investigation on getting this working on AOSP.
This is essentially the same patch that I made but with updated RILs. I'll update my patch later today.

HTC Sensation 4G with ARHD 6.6.4
tried this patch and did not work for me.... got wifi stopped when I booted up.

This work on sense 4?

You probably did what I did. The wifi calling app needs to be deleted before you can successfully install this updated zip, I used titanium backup to do it.

just the flashable via recovery.....version...
Summary of Gtalk 1.3 issues: (for those who wonder if it's worth it).
- Video/Voice from other party is visual/audible.
- Video from your side is broken (other side just see your google account avatar)
- Theoretically to enable voice calls to your phone you need to click on your status and tick the allow video/voice calls.
- Initiating calls to your phone isn't possible (you can't call from a computer to your phone).
- Initiating call from nexus to nexus (or other phones which I assume aren't nexus s with official google rom) isn't possible. your phone or the other phone won't be shown as voice call available.
To sum it up,
It's a nice "preview" but far than being truly worth switching to at this state.
most video/audio functionality is broken for real use (unless you want it to call people with computers for talking with them and watching them... that's the only thing).
The good thing is it's not worse than the older gtalk so the standard gtalk functionality won't be worse .
Thanks for the upload.
1. It running fine on my GRI40 stock and rooted N1.
2. Unfortunately, it cannot receive Google Voice connection; to replace my Gizmo5 sip forwarding.
3. The good thing is, I can use it via 3G connection

[ROM][Jul 30,2011]InspirePhacopida-1.00(AT&T 2.47.502.7 base) CRT Animation.

There's one thing I really like about GingerBread and that's the CRT animation. For some reason, HTC removed this cool feature from all Sense based GB ROMs.
This is my first Inspire ROM. I've been using various HTC GB WWEs with my own tweaks for months now, but now that the Official AT&T base is leaked, I decided to throw my hat in the ring.
Start with Stock HTC AT&T 2.47.502.7; strip the bloat; add ro.secure=0 to ramdisk; add custom kernel with OC/UV and optimizations; add busybox, su and Superuser.apk to system; stir in deodexed app and framework; add apns.xml for tether; then add a dash of modified services.jar to get CRT animation. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes. Serves one.
Very clean mostly stock experience but with CRT on/off animations.

Instructions: Download to SDCard and flash from CWM recovery. Depending on what ROM you were running prior, you may need to wipe data, but I got away without it and kept my apps intact. If you don't wipe data, at least wipe cache and dalvik. If it has issues, then you'll probably have to wipe data too (sorry).

The one released on 6.23.11 in the radio sticky.
In my opinion, it honestly doesn't matter what radio/RIL you use. I was going to suggest the same one that came with the RUU for the stock 2.47.502.7 (12.56.60.25_26.10.04.03), but I realized I'm using the radio from the latest Olleh/Korea Telecom (KT) ROM which is 12.59.60.26_26.11.04.21. Here's links to the Radio and RIL that I'm currently using with this, but whatever you are using now is probably fine:

This ROM is really quite extraordinary for an almost stock ROM. Fast & decent battery life for me so far. Not as good battery life as an AOSP ROM with a PUV script, but decent stuff.
My first time using the matching radio too. Seems to be giving me better signal than others I have tried.
If I could just figure out why some people can run Hulu+ on this ROM while I can't. I so want to be able to get my Misfits fix on my phone.

[ROM][26-Jan-2012]Inspire Prochloron[Sense 3.0][Telus 3.13.611.4 base]

I've rebased my 3.xx ROM from the Telus 3.13.661.4 OTA release recently being pushed to Canadian customers of Telus. This is great for us Inspire users since the Telus DHD is 100% hardware compatible with our Inspires.
Changelog:
26-Jan-2012 - Re-based the entire ROM from recently released 3.13.661.4 source. Gave it a name (Prochloron--just liked the way it sounds). Using the stock kernel right now. Should work with any Sense3 kernels available.
08-Dec-2011 - Re-based the entire ROM from recently released 3.12.405.1 stock HTC RUU.
03-Oct-2011 - Removed some apps deemed exploitable by Android Police. Some minor kernel tweaks. Removed buggy HtcVideoPlayer.apk.
26-Sep-2011 - Updates. Added CRT animation. build.prop changes. New kernel config. Fixed Inspire audio.
22-Sep-2011 - Fixed in-call mic audio. Added a new kernel based on mdeejay's 2.6.35.14 Inspire/DHD kernel. Fixed "Charge Only"/"Disk Drive" being deleted from the status bar drop-down.
20-Sep-2011 - Initial Release.

It WILL wipe and format your data partition. Backup first! I prefer Titanium Backup.
Copy it to your SD card, reboot to recovery, and install zip.
I'm using it as my daily-driver on the Inspire and it's been rock-solid for the past several days.
More to come as I get feedback!

The ROM is running fine for me. It's not the fastest but considering its a test ROM its damn good. Nothing fancy to see unless you have never flashed a Sense 3.0 ROM. It's the exact same build that ARHD 6.1 is based on.

I think the problem might be that I installed an older Superuser.apk onto the /system mount and it doesn't play well with the update (which gets applied to the /data mount). You can use a root filemanager that can mount the system directory read-write and just delete /system/app/Superuser.apk, or move the one installed as an update (/data/app/com.noshufou.android.su-1.apk) to the system partition. Either way, you should clear superuser data in settings, applications, all,Superuser after the change and maybe a reboot will be needed. The latest is, I think, 2.3.6.3.
I've added it to the list of changes to make.

Thank you awesome work!
Forgot to ask!
Dose this work for 4G as well??
Thanks in advance!
Been waiting for this hack. Does not take, keeps it Sprint Hotspot . Running ACS ICS v3.5 EI22. Tried NoCIQ version.
EDIT: Was reading in the OP about a CWRecovery bug and may need to flash. Haven't tried it yet but it came up wireless hotspot and feel pretty sure about it. I didn't have this problem having to reflash it before, but now I am using ACS Recovery. Thank you so much for getting right on top of this cause it a hack I use a lot. It works so much better than another app for wireless tethering.

Unless someone has made a very recent breakthrough, limitations of the CWM flash procedure prevent the zip from doing the modifications necessary (unpacking an apk) to modify the existing files, so a complete overwrite (replacement) is the only option. Without the breakthrough mentioned above, this will always be the case

Just wanted to say thanks! I haven't had to use this feature till now. My roadrunner internet service is down so I put this into action and it works beautifully. It's just as fast as roadrunner turbo (maybe a itty bitty smidge slower ) and it's a solid connection. Calling up roadrunner tomorrow to tell them to kick rocks. I'm so thrilled about this. Having that extra $30 a month from not having to pay for internet service is really gonna help me out. I am so very thankful for this and the fact that it's not illegal to do this makes it even better. All you devs ROCK!!!! Thanks!
Actually hotspot is a paid service of Sprint's. So technically by using a hack to bypass payment it is theft of services which is illegal.

Flashed NOIQ version, soft bootloop. Running Marcusant's Revival v1. Removed DialerTabActivity.apk, flashed again. Still bootloop. Going to reflash rom without wiping, but any ideas meanwhile?

Isn't hotspot included in Macusant's ROM?

Yeah but it's broken. Wifi tether works but stock hotspot seems to run better overall. If it helps the noiq zip did rename it.
Back to where I was with broken hotspot but working everything else
ACTUALLY now hotspot works. Didn't before, after these shenanigans it does.

GPS config Inspire with ICS

I have an Inspire and I've been using the Blackout ICS Rom and my only problem is with GPS taking forever to lock...I am using GPS status to reset and download assist data but I'm still getting a lock on any satellites, I'm using the most recent AT&T radio... Should I be using a different radio? or do I need to do something else?
Thank you in advance for your help

I have luck by toggling mobile data off and then back on. I use GPS test by chartcross. Usually it will start by weather widget not getting location. I then open GPS test and it won't lock. After toggling mobile network off and then back on it locks and then weather widget gets location again. They are working on a fix for these issues.

I'm not familiar with that particular rom, but you may need to flash Inspiremod to get the gps to work right.

DO NOT flash inspire mod on blackout. It will mess things up.

I didn't have any intention on even trying that

Like I said, I am not familiar with that rom, I just know virtually every other rom I have ran needs to have it flashed for the gps to work right.

You have the right idea but the file itself isn't compatible with blackout

I knew it sounded like it was on the right track but I figured that the Mods for the Inspire that are out there for ICS are only for AOSP/AOKP not the new Sense ROMs that people are actually using as daily drivers now that everything pretty much works
