BLN on ICS roms? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Does anyone else running a rom based off any of the leaks miss having BLN or am I missing something here?

No it can't be done on ICS, yet. Read the dang forum, no need to ask this again for the 20th time

Is there BLN for ICS yet?

BLN, yes...the ability to insert it into a kernel without the source, no.
Until Sammy releases the Skyrocket source code for ICS they can't put in things like BLN.

Maybe. I heard though you can use a modded cm7 somehow. Except its hard.
no kernel = dead in the water
Ha well for noob builders like me can use this to our advantage if we ever get a kernel.

We already have a build...we just do.t have the modified kernel....this thread has been done before...and trust me..ics is NOT all that ...I stopped working on it after I ran it on my daughters captivate..

Dman,
ICS is great and it has potential on our infuse. Don't get me wrong, I love the work you do but I am very sure that with ICS/some glimpse of hope, shown to the masses here at the infuse forums will uplift some people and stop at least some, nagging.

Exactly lol. I know ics is not all that special, its just the theme, launcher, and framework have been made to look very cool. This method is just so us noobs can try it if the kernel ever is avail.

You're right, your ported roms are much better than ICS.
Multitasking alone is enough reason to get ics, you don't have to belittle it just because we have no developers working on it

I noticed that to switch kernels the OP of that post suggests that the user flash a stock kernel (which is at&t in his post). Would this work for us now that we are unlocked? Or do we need a Verizon version to restore wifi/blue tooth drivers?

Have you suffered any wake lock issues on the Sprint kernel? Many of us on CM10 have been having this issue on both the stock CM kernel as well as Imo's. I would certainly give this kernel a shot if you haven't had that particular issue. Thanks!

Get what, exactly? I am running bone stock CM10, I did nothing to enable it, if that's what you are asking? If you are asking what app gives the data in my screenshot, look in the themes and mods section for the 'skyrocket charger' thread, it's in there.

your missed notifications?

What do you all do for missed notifications?
Do you use noLED, BLN, or what?
Or do you just always turn the screen on to check if you missed anything

What exactly do you need explained? CM based ROMs have BLN built into the settings, "enable keys notifications". TW based ROMs need a kernel where BLN has been enabled, but then requires the app BLN Pro from the market to turn it on.

For jb tw you would have to wait till Samsung releases our jb source code.

^ exactly. You need source to modify the kernel to allow for BLN. There will be no BLN on TW JB until then.
