but about battery "in case I9000?"

Google search it? Not trying to be an asshole but cmon man, there's tons of websites that would tell you by just looking at the spec sheet
OT: No,yes(one model doesn't I think its the i9023), not sure, if you overclock.

You can get this answer easily from gsmarena..

thank you but what's your opinion about that "nexus s or galaxy s"

I donno man.
If you are thinking about changing phone and wont be able to go for the brand new and expensive ones, I would recomend you to go for the Nexus S.
I myself changed my LG O2X for a Nexus S, mostly because of the Google brand, the promised updates, and all the good stuff developed for the phone to customize it with.
And lets be honest. Samsung Google Nexus S is so god damn sexy

keep your samsung galaxy s, just root it and install cm9 and overclock it to 1.2ghz

yes thanks guys i think it's time to try that you call it nexus s caz i was wondering to get from a while.

Yeah, ****ty LG didnt provide me with a stable phone.. reboots and bsod was occuring often with LGO2x.
Plus they didnt send out updates so often. I was still running Android 2.2 FroYo when Google updated their Nexus S with 4.0 ICS.
Atm LGO2x is on Gingerbread recently updated, and waiting for ICS in the end of the year or probably even next year...
To make a short story. I love Google Android, but not LG.
Thats why I changed for a Nexus s (same screen resolution, same clockspeed, not dual core though )

Ok so i returned the iphone 4s that i bought for my girl cause you guys brought it to my attention that i will not get 4g on simple mobile. Now we are at a stand still in deciding between the galaxy s2 and the htc 1s. What do you guys think the better phone is? These will be tmobile phones running on simple mobile by the way. Thanks.
Or do you think we should get the galaxy s3?
I have the lg g2x right now which is rooted/unlocked/running hellfire 2.2.
My next phone is going to be the s3.
You should just get a used nexus s or something and wait for new nexuses with jb which should be here by fall if u really want a good phone

And I was under the impression by reading about the galaxy s3 that it will be running ICS. What is JellyBean?

Yep. I agree that was probably uncalled for. Sorry to thekid1. A better answer may be to wait until the new Samsung is released and for the old model to drop in price. Thekid1 has asked about things before that are easy to research.
I would never ask an internet forum how I should spend my hard earned money, but that is me. I wish all my clients would ask me to how to spend their money.
Like someone said before if you want to get updates get a Nexus and don't waste your money on any other android phone. I'm done with non Nexus devices I'm tired of the lack of suppose all the manufactures have for phones. You won't get much suppose from Samsung been there with the Vibrant they will release a very slightly revised S3 3 months later and forget you exist. No thanks.

Just get the One S. It is insanely fast and is built really well. I love it for a couple key reasons:
1. It has the new snapdragon S4 which is based off the newer smaller A15 architecture rather than the A9 which is in the Gs3 and almost all other phones right now. The A15 is more powerful and uses less energy.
2. It has a smaller 4.2" screen which in my opinion is the biggest a screen should be.
3. Build quality is really good and feels good in my hand.
That is my grain of salt for consideration.

[Resolved] Which phone should I get? Note, Nexus, One X?

[Thread Resolved]
In the end, I went with the Nexus as it has much better software, development and update speed...
Sorry about making another thread on this.
But, I'm looking for a 24 month contract under £15 a month with little upfront fee, up to £100. I was on Pay as You Go before. I just wanted to know what is the best at that price? At the moment, I'm looking at the HTC One X, Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Note. Which one would you recommend? Or should I get something else? The phone needs to last for 2 years. Thanks for the help.

Go with Galaxy Nexus. Fast as hell with new Jelly Bean and also it's a really developer/hacker friendly phone

I don't think note will get jelly bean or next version of android. Also I find Nexus to have more developer support. Also Gnex has pure Android which looks beautiful
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
The real question is getting the latest update important to you. If it is go with a nexus, if not go with the phone that suites your needs now. Just don't expect your phone to be updated to the latest software when going with a skinned phone.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
If development and long term support is your biggest option.
100% no doubt, go with the Nexus.
The Note is a close second because it has decent development but updates are a bit slower.
I'd leave the Sensation in the dust.

I would have to say "not the Sensation XL". I had a Sensation and it's a heavy pocket mirror. And there aren't too many roms available for them. In the end I'll have to recommend buying a phone because you like the design, not because of the specs. You're not going to enjoy a phone that has a slightly faster CPU if you don't like how it looks.
I've pretty much eliminated the Sensation.
But which CPU and GPU is better? The one in the Note or the Nexus? I would prefer better development but it's not a big issue. I wouldn't be installing ROMs until the phone gets old. Hardware-wise which is the better phone? And will both last the next two years? I know the Nexus will, but will the Note? Thanks for all the help.

Specs are better in note for sure. But even though note has better spec, I find Nexus to be smoother with the jelly bean update.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
I also second the suggestion to get a Nexus. It gives you the best Android Experience (fast updates from Google, huge developer community) .
The HTC HD2 is still very expensive because it is very popular among developers I guess this might be the case with the Nexus too. So if you want to sell it in the future it won't be completely worthless by that time. Just my thoughts.
If you want an Android phone go directly with Galaxy Nexus, but if you have much money you can buy an iPhone 4s
I think galaxy nexus or galaxy S3
I was going for the Nexus but then I saw this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1510755. What do you guys think about this?

Can't find a SG3 in the budget I have. Otherwise, it looks like a good phone.

[Q] My first smartphone is getting old.

Hi boys, and girls
As my 2 year contract on my carrier, is getting to the finish line, i want to get something new. (I will keep my small litle muscle phone O1 as a second phone )
At the first i wanted the galaxy nexus, because of the great software support, and the developement, in our xda forum.
Then suddenly i saw the new Optimus 4x, but, there is one but. There is no developement in here, because of locked bootloader
I really don`t know what to take. Thought about the Xperia S, but nope.
The phones what i need to choose from , are - 1. Galaxy nexus
2. Optimus 4x
Maybe Acro S ?
Maybe some other suggestions?
Maybe the new LG Nexus? It'll be $399 on Google Store unsubsidized according to rumors.

Yeah, but it will not be available in my country for a while.
seeing how often google release OS.
I will stick to nexus device for fastest OS update
I love my Google experience device motorola xoom running AOSP jelly bean
Yeah. I think I'd go for the new nexus phone. Just wait for a lil while
I think getting a new LG phone is a waste, Anything other than a galaxy nexus is.
The new android OS? Availably from day 1.
Every app is tested on that first, which means closer to no bugs.
I think that i will take Galaxy Nexus. Just because of software support, developement. The performance is also o.k No need for 4 cores.

It depends on your budget. If you've got a fairly large budget and looking to get a fairly new phone with great features and future support and updates then I'd either go with the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Nexus, or the new Nexus 4. I have the Nexus S and it runs great, recently updated it to 4.1.2 Jellybean.
Remember it's all about your budget and if you're the type of person who likes to flash ROM's and whatnot.
Hope that helped,
