I got a power skin for my Vibrant back in the day, and it was hideous. And barely charged it 60%, so I felt it was a waste of money.

there not supposed to charge it completely, its supposed to be like an extended battery. and of course, its gunna be huge. but im still not sure about buying one anyways. my phones been on for like 10hrs with 1-1/2hrs screen on time and still at 85% battery

For the added bulk, the lint the case attracted while in my pocket, not to mention it made it hard to get in and out of my pocket, and the cost, nothing less than a full charge would have been worth it. It sucked.

I had a power skin for my Sensation. I loved it. Battery life was amazing. And it didn't look bad either with all the added bulk.

That thing looks hideous. what's with the big nub covering the USB. Is that whet it powers it?.
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda premium
How else do you expect the power from the case to get into the phone?
For the money, I expect them to use a lower profile connector. It shouldn't stick out that far.

POGO Pins!!!
How about a case this that uses pogo pins?
- 3200mAH and no bulging nubs on the sides. What's best? You can use the MHL connector. Extended battery while using the HDMI connector. Nothing beats that. Period.

As cool as that is, it still doesn't protect the phone. It definitely looks better than the PowerSkin, though.

http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-Innocell-3300mAh-Extended-Battery/dp/B004IK8EYM
What i paid and i doubt its much cheaper then that elsewhere so unless you want a crap battery i think its a really solid price

Not trying to start anything but that is just as "crappy" as batteries you mention.
Seidio is known for their overpricing, you do NOT get $74 of battery when you buy that, not even $60. For ~$20 I'd just go for the OEM 1800mAh slim battery from the Epic Touch....just kidding I'd get two extendeds for $19 shipped *NEW*
I actually just took out my seido for the first time in a long time. I'm so tired of the back coming off. Plus everyone looks at my phone like it's a mutant with that back piece. Feels so much thinner

i would do it you dont really need a protective case just get a screen cover and a battery with a new back plate i like the 3500mah the back plate i got with it is perfect a little bigger but so worth it you can get the cheap on ebay just look for good feed back. Mine works like a champ and if any thing happens i just use my old battery and back plate.
sucks that the cover wont stay on. I need something to extend my battery.

I will post any new info as soon as I get it and do a full review of the case.
How about the international version of htc one x?
I hope to god it utilizes the charging pins otherwise there is probably going to be a big bulge on the side of it
I definitely noticed that horrible bulge lol...is that for the wires and charging components? You'd think they would hide those inside the case...??? Some don't have that bulge. Do they take advantage of the docking pins?

Well on phones with the charging port on the side, out needs space for the contact.
There is also a bulge on the ones where the pet it's on the bottom but you don't notice it because they make it look like an extension of the phone.
Joined just to follow this, hopefully it comes sooner than the end of June, I want this!
Hopefully it looks better than the iPhone version.
Any new news?
I just ordered an extended battery and battery door and I am wondering if there is any case out there that will fit with it?

I'm not handy with tools, and I purchased it on amazon. They are sending me a replacement so let's see what happens. As far as holsters go... ehh negative lol. I wish otterbox would release a commuter to fit it because I'm keeping this phone for a while.

I got the Motorola extended battery from at&t and just cut my otterbox defender with a dremel and it fits perfectly.
and for anyone looking for an extended battery, my att store has them for 25 with the back plate. I believe they are 50 on Motorola.com

Yes this is a s2 epic battery, but it fits, very tight, so you have to tightly push all sides of the cover until they snap. I've used this for over a year now.

Damn, wished I'd seen this before I picked up the Trident Electra. Although the Electra may offer more protection the extra bulk is really starting to bother me. I can't fit the Electra in my armband for my workouts like I could when I was just using the Otterbox Commuter or even the Zero Lemon 7500mAh. May have to give the Dyconn a try!
Yeah its nice and slim

Power cases on a phone with a removable battery is pretty silly to me. Plus even though the case has a 3000mah battery, the power deficiency of charging a battery with another battery means an overall drop of about 30%. essentially giving you only 2100mah from the case or 4700mah overall.

It doesn't charge the battery. It is daisy chained to the battery. They provide a battery with 3000mah insert that to the battery slot and then you add the stock battery on top. Its a neat idea.

I was able to stretch the Otterbox silicon to fit the ZeroLemon battery on both my Note II and S4, plus I have the ZeroLemon rugged case. I bet I could stretch the ZeroLemon silicon to fit over the ZL battery daisy chained into this one. Then I'd have 10,500mah on deck.

I would hope it's not daisy-chained cause the voltage would go up too high for the phone (serial arrangement). But I got what you meant. It's arranged in parallel with the stock battery.
Amazon pics worth a thousand words.
