I slept on my phone and now thw kickstand won't sit flush. Should I call VZW to try to get it replaced?

i agree, only way you get a new one is if you pay asurion the monthly warranty and call them to get it replaced(100 deductable) or buy a new one from verizon. They wont give you a free one.
Physical damage is not covered by the warranty.
Send pix of bent kickstand
Might be easy fix if ya carefull using tools

If you call them and try to get it replaced for any reason besides the bent kickstand just to get it replaced its fraud. Its why our deductibles have been going up when it comes to asurion etc.., but you gotta do what you gotta do- just some of us dont condone that
try to fix it yourself, or even take the kickstand out. it annoys the **** out of me and it's completely useless.
Not *completely*
it does keep pocket lint out of the speaker
It would be less useless if they moved the usb port and you could watch videos in the widescreen way and actually charge the phone. But obviously they didnt and the kickstand was an afterthought which is why it peels, bends and is in the way

Haha good one. Mine peeled off about a quarter of the way, so I took an emery board and went the whole rest of the way, then used metal polish. Now it's stainless.

I would have a little more respect for that strategy if they actually had the docks availabe for sale at launch or even 3 months after launch, especially if the so-called multimedia dock had HDMI-out or any other multimesia functions for that matter.
Thanks, Robertus
wow, got a lot of funny responses. Ya'll are right though. Pretty stupid on my part. I got drunk and fell asleep on it.
I never said anything negative about the build though, so I'm not sure where some people came up with that.
I bent it back a little and it's ok with the cover on it. So I think I'll leave it at that. Thanks everyone for their interesting responses.

The official htc dock Just came out, and isn't available through verizon yet. I wanted it day one. It does charge with or without the extended battery, though. It also charges one extra regular or extended battery, too. I guess we are lucky htc put one out at all. The Inc 1 never got an official dock. Ha

I have the seidio dock. It's angled poorly for screen viewing (in my opinion), and extremely difficult (in relative terms to other docks I have for other phones) to get the phone in and out of it. There's a lot of resistance both in and out with the usb plug.
As for kickstands...why all the hate? Personally I think it's a fantastic accessory to the phone and puts it at the perfect angle for watching videos or reading off the phone while it's on my desk. Yeah, usb placement sucks and maybe you can't watch five hours of video on it with the kickstand, but other phones you can't watch anything at all without holding the phone in your hand or getting a dock.

I covered the one connector that the white case doesn't have (with a McDonalds monopoly piece) and the signal is worse, but it is not terrible.
With the case correctly on: ~-75dBm, 19asu
With the monopoly piece on upper left metal: ~-83dBm, 15asu
With the case off: ~-113dBm, 0asu (no bars )
I'm willing buy to this and try it but does anyone have a picture of a normal black sensation with this white battery cover?

I'm also thinking if the antenna is bad I have an extra oem back I will experiment and see if i can take the one off the original case and put it on the white case.
Gonna order mine next week. Can we replace the missing antenna connector on the white case with our own from the stock black case?
Also, does anyone make white glass screens for our phones yet? I've searched extensively but haven't been able to locate one on my own

Has anyone tried this on TMOBILE? Sensation?
Mine came in today. It looks amazing. My wifi signal is ironically better than with the stock casing. I now get two bars in my bathroom instead of zero to one like before. I have yet to test tower connection though.

I've got one of the Hyperion batteries. They sell them as a standalone product without the charger. The battery is about what you would expect for the $10 cost. As I expected, it doesn't last quite as long as the included battery, but it makes a good backup battery for when you need a little extra juice. The amazon reviews say that the charger is low quality, so i bought the RND dock off amazon to go with it. I'm new here so I can't post the link yet, sorry.
Thanks that's really helpful. If I may ask what kind of case or screen protector do you like?

According to reviews they get about 3 hours more...they're rated at 2250 mAh. Should be getting them Wednesday so I'll update when they arrive.
I always recommend getting 2 batteries and an external battery charger. I am never without a battery and just have to remember to pop a dead battery in the charger when I get home from work.
Honestly... The best battery for the skyrocket are the factory ones. Not bulging back and the mah is accurate. They are pricey @$35 a pop, but they are the best we can get.

I've got the otterbox commuter series. It's a nice case for what I need it for. Only thing is I have to take it off to use the dock or change batteries. Also best buy included an invisible shield protector on my phone (some BS policy they have). I never would have bought it on my own but it's a decent screen protector if you can get it installed right.

I was looking at either the commuter or, there is a seido active armor case. I got a decent .20 cent case to hold me over till I buy a pricey one.
I've heard problems regarding otterbox cases and the screen protector regarding dirt to be able to get under the protector. And the screen being scuffed if you ever cleaned it. Have you noticed anything like that?

Two batteries from Samsung? Do they sell a two pack with a charger? The reason l looked at the Hyperion was because of its charger. (Digging through the reveiws about charger problems people appear to be breaking off pins)

I have the commuter series case. It doesn't include a screen protector. But from the reviews I've seen of the defender, the speaker and camera holes are unprotected which allows dirt to get under it.

Well, I received these batteries several days early...was scheduled for this coming Wednesday and instead they arrived this past Saturday. Fully charged a battery, and today is my first day using them, but I can say that the percentage is certainly not dropping as quickly as the stock battery. It's actually noticeable.
The battery fits well without a replacement cover, but of course doesn't include NFC capability...

It appears that the Rogers version of the One X has an FM radio!
If you look 13:22 minutes into the mobilesyrup.com review you will see that there is an FM Radio icon next to the flashlight in the upper left corner. Does this mean that AT&T has a different version with FM stripped? There seem to be almost as many variations of the One X as there are Galaxy S's.
Also, apparently the camera glass on the LTE version rests inside the metal ring! While it's only like half a millimeter, it'll prevent scratches.

Lol same here just went in asked if there was any chance I could have a look at it and she went in the back and brought it out. Man it is one sweet phone the camera definitely was slightly resessed and pushed around the edges of the screen and no ripple that some of the international owners reported. It just felt so solid in the hand and it was fast. Did notice a tinge of yellow in the screen when viewing white backgrounds. But over all its one hell of a phone. I'm sold!!!! They finally had to pry the phone from hand as well. Can't wait to get it.
