[Q] samsung galaxy fit not starting - General Questions and Answers

my galaxy fit is not starting it blinks samsung logo n restart again and again
it also not going on recovery mod

Maybe a bit stupid question - have you tried to remove battery for at least a minute? It happened suddenly, or you´ve tried something (rooting, flashing ..)?

yeah, pull battery out and leafe it out for a while, if that don't work, turn it on and wait 2 hours, if that don't work try custom recovery again, again and again. If that don't work try boot in download mode and apply rom with odin. (you must find 1 first)
hope something will work

Try downloading the cwm again and then flash the custom rom..

[Q] galaxy ace

i was flashing my phone back to stock rom gb and it would not reboot got stuck at the samsung logo .. so i finally got it to go into download mode but it is now stuck there .. can someone give me some kind of help .. i have flashed this thing many times but never had this problem
There is a galaxy ace forum mate what do you mean by stuck in download mode? Did you flash a rom and didn't reboot automatically therefore stuck in download mode? Or did you boot into download mode but you want to get out of it but can't(if so, just remove the battery)?

You don't know what download mode is? Have you really tried to flash anything mate?
To flash anything through odin you need to be in download mode first. Try flashing a stock galaxy ace rom and see if it solves your problem. There is a galaxy ace section, try to search for it mate and i advice you to read before attempting to flash anything.
When you said you flash something, you mean through CWM? How did you get CWM if you didn't even know what download mode is?
Anyway, you are better of reading guides on how to flash a galaxy ace. It's pretty simple

interesting,

[Q] Brick forever or possibility to restore?

Good evening everyone.
I bought Samsung galaxy tab 7.7 GT-P6800 about month ago. It's been working fine, till this saturday. When i tried to unlock my Tab, device didn't respond. I tried to power it on, but still no response. Hm, the reason of this thing is only one - too low battery. So, i putted my device on charge (saw battery icon on screen). After 2 hours, I came back and tried to power my device again, but it freezed with this battery icon. I hold power button for 10-15 seconds and my device started to load, but it got freezed on "Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7". My Tab is rooted, but firmware is official.
What my DEVICE CAN'T DO:
* Can't load into CWM (freezing at "Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7";
* Can't Power on;
* Can't charge;
* Can't connect to PC.
What my DEVICE CAN DO:
* Load into Downloading mode.
Is it possible to restore my Tab? If yes, how to do it, using Downloading mode (Kies doesn't see my tab)? Please help.
Thanks for your help.

I feel sorry about that. Do you clean install your ROM? If you can now go to CWM Recovery, then it would be good. You can try factory reset in CWM.
I had the same issue this is when the flashed Rom is damaged. You need to install the originap Samsung Rom which can be bought from samsung or give your tab to a repair shop they will have the neccery things.

you need to make factory reset using cwm recovery... If you reinstall the Official Honeycomb firmware... you are safe to wipe using the stock 3e recovery... if you are on ICS... please go to download mode and install cwm... then factory reset...

Thanks for your reply!
I flashed my SGT 7.7 back to Official Honeycomb firmware, but i still can't access recovery mode. The only thing i can do is - load into download mode. I can't install CWM, because i flashed it to NON rooted Official firmware. It's still like a brick
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Flashed CWM using Odin, but still can't access anything. I can only see two loading screens:
1. Freezing battery icon. (it happens, when i try to charge my tablet)
2. Freezing Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 sign.(it happens, when i just try to power my device on)
The only way I can power off my tablet is to wait untill my device's battery discharges.
I'm in the same situation:
1. Freezing battery icon. (it happens, when i try to charge my tablet)
2. Freezing Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 sign.(it happens, when i just try to power my device on)
Although I can boot into CWM 5.0.2.7 but I'm unable to successfully get a rom to work...
Very frustrating isn't it.
I'm thinking about trying this...

OK, I went through the following guide

And it really worked!!! it takes a while, you will need to put aside around 1-2 hours to go through it carefully step by step.

What firmware were you using on your tablet, while you were flashing CWM? Why I am asking it, is because i tried lots of different firmwares to install CWM and i couldn't boot into CWM niether with honeycomb, nor with ICS. And yeah thanks for your help.

I started with ICS stock but after my initial flash did't work I believe I wasn't really running any rom because it didn't work.
I then went into Odin/download mode (holding volume down and power).
once in I used the cwm-6.0.2.3-p6800.tar file and loaded it under "Bootloader" then I flashed that successfully.
to then get into recovery I hold Volume up + power (for a very long time about 20secs).
Once in recovery then you can begin the above guide to repair the sdcard.
Hope that helps.
Thanks again for your reply.
I did exactly everything you wrote, even installed original ICS firmware again using Odin. Flashed recovery, hold Power + Vol Up buttons for like 5 minutes, but f*** this, still didn't boot into recovery. Erh.. my device is broken forever.. No solution for all this..

How do you flash CWM using ODIN? CWM isn't a Bootloader, nor a PDA, nor a Phone, nor a CSC.
Thanks in advance, hope I'll get back my Galaxy Tab 7.7!
1. go to download mode
2. connect your device to your pc and start odin
3. put the cwm files on phone section of odin
4. flash awayyyyy....
Yay
Yaaaaay! Problem solved! My Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. P6800 is alive again!
The problem was so easy, that i laught alot, when solved it. The problem was with micro SDcard. I used micro SDcard from my last Nokia phone, but Nokia's micro SDcard didn't approach to SGT7.7, but it approached ONLY by the size! So I used another micro SDcard, which I got when I bougt my Tab! Woohoo, i'm so happy now

Mightve bricked my P5113

Hi, i tried updating my tab to the leaked 4.1 OTA and after following the instructions my tab wont boot. It will only play the boot animation then hang at the samsung logo for about ten minutes then go black. I cant get it into download or recovery mode, but when i plug it into the wall it shows the battery icon. Also odin recognises the tab while its hanging at the samsung logo.. i have heard talk of a usb jig but not for this tablet.. Can anyone offer any advice? thanks in advance
If Odin sees it a USB jig isn't needed.. Just flash the stock f/w tar and you're good
EDIT: fail... No download mode... Umm... Sounds like you're in a bootloop... No idea why recovery and download wouldnt work tho...

The good news is that the device probably isn't bricked. If it was unfixably bricked you shouldn't even see the boot animation.
It's figuring out how to fix it that's the hard part.
What you've clearly done as far as the ROM though is installed the rom improperly somehow. Might have missed as step in the process, or the ROM could have just been a bad download and no fault of your own. These things happen to the best of us.
Assuming that clockworkmod recovery is still installed, and you just can't get into it, you might try to see if you can access it using adb from your computer.
If you have abd installed boot the device as far as it'll go then see if you can connect to it with adb and run this command...
abd reboot recovery
Also try
adb reboot boot loader
If you don't have adb installed read this...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1853159
If that doesn't work (and I only give it a 50-50 shot at best as adb isn't always useful during the boot process, which is where you are stuck....then we'll think of something else.
Also please describe the steps you are using to try and get into recovery just to make sure you're trying it the right way.
And after it gets stuck at the Samsung screen are you turning it off completely by holding the power, volume up, and volume down all at once? That should shut the device off completely, which is where you need to be before trying to boot into recovery.
Thank you both! ! I managed to get it going

Please share how you got it fixed and what ended up working.
That way when someone else Google's the same probelm a year from now and finds this thread, he'll have the answer waiting for him. (See my signature cartoon from XKDC.com for a comical represensation of why not explaining what the outcome was is annoying)
Glad it got working!
Well i asked in the thread for that rom and it was suggested that the battery needed charging, I didnt think this was the case cuz my tab had been plugged in to the wall for about an hour already but I let it sit for a couple hours and it finally booted although it said there was 15% power left... its still charging really slow but it boots now!

[Q] Gtab P3100 stuck on "Samsung Galaxy Tab 2" Screen

Hi there, i'm from indonesia...
Just wondering whats wrong with my step, cause now i got P3100 "stuck on "Samsung Galaxy Tab 2" Screen" until the battery drains out...
First :
- Trun off P3100
- put download mode
- connect P3100 to pc
- Click ODIN
- select "GT-P3100_ClockworkMod-Recovery_6.0.1.0.tar" file on PDA
- START
- Finish (Sucssesful)
- Reboot
- Result "stuck on "Samsung Galaxy Tab 2" Screen"
Note : just try to flash cwm to flash root.zip for P3100
Second :
- Trun off P3100
- put download mode
- connect P3100 to pc
- Click ODIN
- select "P3100XXBLH2_P3100OLBBLH1_P3100XXLH2_HOME.tar.md5" file on PDA (downloaded from Sammobile)
- START
- Finish (Sucssesful)
- Reboot
Note : Try to Restock to stock firmware 4.0.4 & already try with PIT.File selected on ODIN but..
- still "stuck on "Samsung Galaxy Tab 2" Screen"
Anybody can help me with this issue...??
Cheers
Maybe you could try reflashing the stock firmware WITHOUT any PIT file. I only remember needing a PIT file for older devices like the original Galaxy Tab P1000, not for the newer ones like the P3110.
After which, instead of letting it boot normally, try booting into recovery mode, do a factory reset/wipe cache from there then see if all works again.
Btw, one of the more popular rooting methods for P3110 is actually Chainfire AutoRoot, which does not require custom recovery like CWM and only requires you to flash the AutoRoot tar file through ODIN. Very simple & recommended by everyone here.
Ok, will try today and report soon...
Cheers

Sounds like the bootloader got messed up. That's bad & probably only the service centre can help you now.
No, if you can get it into download mode it's fixable. ODIN recovery again and try to get into recovery.

Probably flashing into stock rom will fixed it, as long as your download mode can be accessing you're gonna be fine
You guys are forgetting the most basic thing to fix the tab. Hold Power+Volume up instead of power+volume down. then using the volume keys highlight wipe data/factory reset and then press power, yes and then once finished reboot the tab.

Noobie here, and not sure if I know enough to make much sense.
I had a similar situation occur today.
New to me but a 2nd hand p600 which rooted today and then I used Odin 3.10.6 to flash TWRP and found myself in a boot loop similar to the description.
I panicked bigtime and feverishly googled my way to to this message thread and my hopes were raised when I read the OPs message and then got dashed to find no solution posted .
After perhaps 20 attempts of getting combined button pushes and releases correct. (it never happened ) I was desperately trying almost anythiing and then got to TWRP File manager, then Reboot, then System, then Normal Reboot and finally Success! I got the regular reboot. Phew!
Hope it helps
Well, I let it sit over the weekend and the battery complete depleted. I was then able to get into TWRP and Download mode when I applied power, I have since flashed a new rom and whewwww, up and running again. Before the battery went dead, it wouldn't do anything but reboot.....
