I followed instructions to install the Sky 4.2d-10 rom and after installing the update, I have no notification bar and get the message "unfortunately system ui has stopped". What is wrong?
Thanks
Nevermind, I did not install main update.
Lol It's all good. But this question should have been in the SkyICS thread

Hi I had that same issue with one of the colored themes I think it was green could not get the phone to reboot into clockwork mod either. Solution was plugging the charger in and turning phone on after thee battery charging symbol came on and it rebooted into recovery automatically were I had to restore to a ealier image backup I had that was the only way I could get past the fc's.

Hey all, this is my first post. I have a Droid X that has been running with Launcher Pro Plus for the past few months.
I rooted my phone the other day and everything was going fine. I downloaded Titanium Backup, ShootMe, and then Metamorph.
I've been checking out droidpirate.com and downloaded a few different notification bar color schemes, which were working fine. Today I downloaded another and decided I wanted to change it, so I switched to a new one through Metamorph, applied it, and rebooted my phone. Upon restart it was still the same color as before, so I applied again and before I could restart it gave me an error message that the status/notification bar (not sure which it said at the time) had crashed.
I restarted it, and ever since then I've had no notification bar. I've tried reapplying the color schemes in Metamorph and restarting after, but nothing has changed.
I've gone to the Launcher Pro settings and toggled on and off the "hide notification bar" setting which hasn't changed anything. I've restored my backup in Titanium Backup and it is still the same. I'm not sure what else to do at this point.
What do you all suggest? It really sucks to not see my battery meter, time, etc. when I open my phone. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
bump, if there is a better thread this should be in then my bad, just let me know which
bump? any help is greatly appreciated
bump, this will probably be the last one.

How would I go about doing that?
notify bar problem with you try to install some custom themes without dudexed the rom. for this case you may install dudex files for you device. please go to your device board for this.
Wipe your phone and flash the same ROM again. Problem solved

What exactly is meant by "flash the same ROM again"? Sorry, I'm pretty new to all of this.
Hi I installed Salman ROM v 4.0 on my rooted Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100. However I have a few issues:
- On boot I get the popup messages: "email stopped", exchange service stopped"...
- When I dial a number, after a few rings I get a message "phone.android stopped" and the call aborts. Reflashing the ROM didnt help.

Seems like you didn't do a full wipe.

There is a problem with the clock in Clock which is Force Close Error - on i9020a JB 4.1.1 its happening after I messed up with some chainfire 3d driver and my phone was dead then I decided to reinstall from 2.3.6 which I did. Reset everything and then again to jelly bean step by step. But after reinstalling I am facing error of clock force close from ICS and then JB. I tried reinstalling from GB again but this error is not going anywhere. Any help?
Wipe your phone and install stock JB you don't need to go all the way back to GB. Use this to help you.

I have the Verzion Wireless 3g/4g Xoom. When I tried to flash the latest CyanogenMod (nightly 10.1) from here (http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=nightly&device=stingray) and gapps from here (http://d-h.st/kIQ), immediately after the bootanimation, I get the error message "Unfortunately, system UI has stopped". Everytime I hit "Ok", it just keeps popping up again.
Anyone with any ideas how to get out of this?
When you do can you let me know, thanks

I had the same issue with the latest Wingray build (WiFi Xoom MZ604). I went back to the 3/10 build and all is well.

easiest thing would be to boot into recovery and restore a backup. The system you flashed is bad. You can also flash a different rom from recovery but do a full wipe before flashing.
I also had the same problem on my Xoom wifi. Flashed the CM 10.1 20130310 nightly and everything was fine. Have not heard of any fixes or bug issues as of yet. Will post if I do.

Looks like the bug issue for system ui message has been fixed in the newest cm10.1 nightly (20130314) for xoom>wingray. Thanks to the devs.
