Hey everyone, whether this is a noob question or not, please remember that we were all here at one point. One thing that has been bugging me for a while is that I haven't seen a way to get a notification to view a reply when someone responds to my comment/thread. This gets annoying since I always have to check the thread again and again to see if someone wrote a reply. Is there a way I can see when someone replies, or writes on my thread like on facebook? Thanks

Guys, a little help needed. I am totally frustrated by how the call logs are displayed on the Infuse. The call logs show the name of the person and below it shows the phone number of the person instead of whether the call was made/from the persons cell/home/office etc. So if a person on my contact list has multiple phones (cell, home etc), how do I figure where they called from.
Ideal setup would be:
John Doe
Mobile
Rather than:
John Doe
123-456-7890
Doesn't this bother anyone? Any way to display this information?
Searched the forums but no dice. Sorry if answered already someplace.
Thanks a bunch.
First off this is posted in the wrong section. This is not a dev question
However, Call log display bugs me too. I text as often as possible to avoid it. Or just wait for someone to call me

Apologies if posted in the wrong forum. The only reason I posted this here was that this does not seem to be stock Infuse functionality and only a developer could "maybe" change this in a ROM release so it is a bit more user friendly.

Check out this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1138613
It worked for me.
EDIT: Oops misread your thread. I thought you wanted to remove the messages.
* MODS PLEASE CONSIDER *
First off I'm Posting this in Q & A because this is where I Waste ALOT of My Time Trying to Help people, to Later just Find out that their Problem has Already been Solved!
Lol...
I Can't even Count the number of threads I read from day to day from users that need Help of some sort with their phones, and that's No Problem! After all that's one of the many Purposes of XDA...
But anyways, after seeing how Useful the [Thanks Button] turned out I've been thinking why Not Add a [Solved Button] Also? This way people like me Won't try to Help Users that No Longer Need Help!!
I mean it'll Save Space and Time Both! If this was Posted somewhere else I Apologize, but I Haven't come Across it!
I Really think this may also Help the Mods Close some of the Dead Threads that are No Longer being used!
Please Give Feedback...
Thank You!
+1 I like to waste time trolling and helping people solve there issues and I agree a solved button would be very handy, or even force a rule saying that once a problem is solved the op must put [SOLVED] before the thread title

Thanx for the Positive Comment!
Hopefully if enough people respond to My thread, and Also Voice their Request for a Much Needed Upgrade, Just Maybe XDA "MIGHT" Add some sort of a [Solved Button] or at Least Something Similar to the Same Effect to make All our lives Easier!
This would be a great enhancement as stated above. As what I've used the Ubuntu forums where this is used, it also makes it a lot easier to search for solutions when you have the same kind/type of problem, because you can easily see if the thread OP has got it solved and you so could have better chances to find the fix there than somewhere else.

Thank you *Also* for your Positive Feedback and Elaborate reply! I Can't Wait to see if More users Also feel the Same way? IDK... But Hopefully they Will! And Hopefully XDA will Hear our Voices and Meet our Needs!
I'll Keep My Fingers Crossed!
Thanx Again Guys!
I'm gonna stick this in here to save creating another thread,
Would it be possible to add the thanks button aswell as the solved in the xda app?
Is this already a feature un.the premium? Thanks

As far as I'm Aware of it Isn't a Feature!
And If it Is... Somebody Please Show me and Everyone else How the Hell it Works so i can put it to use and Stop Wasting my time reading Questions that Already Have Answers! Lol...
I agree with Unksi especially that it make it easier when searching for answers which should bring down the number of new threads if people use the search properly

Was wondering if any one has tried this mod
? it says has worked on many models.or know of a way for sensation owners to do this. If so please post any feedback

P.s this is a QUESTION for those who don't know !
If it were an answer it would be in development
You need a guinea pig? Why don't you give it a try and post feedback, seeing as this is your thread and you didn't put a [Q] in the topic.
Um actually no. was seeing if any one has messed with it before I did.plan on trying after I get off work..oh p.s this is in the q and a section, thought it was simple enough to figure out it was a question ?

Well, without the [Q], I thought it was an answer, seeing as this is the q and a section.
^^lost cause ^^
^ Insulting me now?
If yes, maybe I should've been more rude and not use smileys? If not, then maybe you want to learn how to reply in a way that doesn't appear as an insult....
And again, I thought this thread had an answer to the throttling.. I showed the thread title to another person and they said "did he figure out how to fix it?".
I'd imagine I'm not the only one that thought this thread had a fix.
Even if there was some1 out there who removed throttling they wont tell.. for what so T-Mobile can patch it... And it's network controlled
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using XDA Premium App
lol @ what this thread turned out
edit: read the link in OP seems it doesnt work after a couple months ago throttling is in full swing in 95% of areas, network side
Hey so whenever i answer or i call someone and they pick up i cant hear them and they cant hear me, ever, anyone know if this is a known isssue w a fix?

Search first, always, then when you can't find the answer... Post.
Posting should be a last resort in your head, not the first.

I'm sure you watched the video and read the info when you first signed up correct?
Dev section is "supposed" to be a designated area where these mad wizards share their wonderful creations with us.
The post limit is intended to suppress the "I flashed your crappy ROM and it bricked my phone!!!" Newbie post. It doesn't always prevent that but...what are gonna do. Its basically for devs though. Questions, comments , general info all have there designated areas here...welcome check out the threads. Hope you enjoy your stay
