[Q] Help recovering Nexus S 4G please! - General Questions and Answers

I purchased a Sprint Nexus S 4G off of amazon.com and when I received it, it was bricked. I went to the Sprint store tech center for help and they were no help at all. I've looked through many help sections for this but have yet to recover the phone to a workable mode. It simply says, "FASTBOOT MODE - NO BOOT OR RECOVERY IMG"
It has ClockworkMod Recovery v5.0.2.0 but I have gone through the menu and done a factory reset/reboot with no luck. I'm at my wits end on trying to get this phone to a working state. I can mount the USB storage to my computer and view it but I really don't know what to do with it or what files, if any, I could use to restore it. Screenshots are provided of what I am seeing. Any help would be appreciated.

Download a Nexus S rom > Mount the phone to USB > Put the rom on the root of the phone's memory > Flash the rom.

[Q] Help With Samsung Galaxy S2

recently rooted My Phone but i would like to put it back to factory settings, i thought i had done it but when i connected it to Kies, its still saying that it cant be updated through there any help will be appreciated thanks
Flash a stock ROM and Recovery using ODIN then using a USB jig reset the download counter (not essential however it means if something goes wrong you can get it repaired under warranty)

[Completed] recover photos/music in download mode

Hi,
I have a sgs2 that only boots into download mode. I have photos and music on the internal SD card that I'm afraid will get deleted if I flash stock using Odin. I searched the forum but couldn't find a guide on how to recover files in download mode.
Device information:
I9100
Unlocked (no contract)
No external SD
Rooted
Slimkat build 5
Only boots if connected to a charging cable
I think there's a possibility that it's a hardware issue since I didn't download anything that modifies the recovery and it was working fine for a couple months on slimkat before it suddenly stopped booting.

[Q] LG G2 Bootloop (D801 T-Mobile)

Alright So, I'm Not new to rooting nor Installing custom Roms or Recoveries, I have done plenty times before with different phones, However, Upon greed, I came across an F320L ROM (which is the Korean variant) So I thought to myself What is the worst that can happen? And of course. Fast-boot Mode.
So I got stuck into fast-boot mode, Having previous experience, I was able to get out, Only to accidentally delete my TWRP recovery while I was doing the command lines.
My plan was to delete the old partitions with fast-boot, and Reflash the original Ones, Get into my recovery, Then Reflash Cloudy G3 2.2 for My phone so I can begin using it, This was not the case.
I accidentally Deleted my recovery with the command [: Fastboot erase Recovery] So now TWRP Is GONE, And I have done a factory reset but to No avail.
I was attempting to use the LG flash tool ETC and it saw no success, And Yes I can Access download mode and Factory Reset (But the reset just returns me to the bootloop)
My issue? No Drivers. I need someone to tell me how to get my drivers onto a phone thats been bootlooped Or if this is a done deal and I have to ship it back to LG for a replacement. I hope someone can assist Me. Reply ASAP.

[Completed] [Q] Hisense U971 can't complete boot

Hi guys, I usually solve issues by myself buy I need some help with this one.
I bought my son this device, we rooted it together and changed very lightly the UI ogg's , there was no problem keep using it .
Then we thought why not to change the boot animation, so we downloaded this app from google play called .... "boot animation", and now we can't make it boot at all (WE SEE THE NEW ANIMATION ON THE SCREEN, not rebooting).
tried:
1. hard reset and wipe/factory settings... nothing!
2. no ROMS available ,I found 2 roms but the first one claims that it should work through CMD (the computer can't identify the device), the other one causes "verificaiton problem" when trying to install from SD.
3. sent email to HISENSE , hope to hear from them
I need PLEASE any information from someone who knows how to handle this problem, I think that the only way to solve it is to install a new CWM or ROM from SD , offcourse that id it was samsung device it was much easier.
thank you very much
Lior
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. The best way to tackle this is by reflashing the stock firmware or ROM. All you probably need to do is have the correct drivers installed on your PC in order for it to communicate with your phone. Take a look at this thread:
[TOOL] [WINDOWS] ADB, Fastboot and Drivers - 15 seconds ADB Installer v1.4.2
If you still can't get it to work I'd suggest you ask your question here:

Hi, thanks!
I installed adb+fastboot, adb found the device but fastboot not...
There's no fastboot mode on the recovery, any ideas?

[Completed] Galaxy S3 SGH-i747 - Boot loop - tricky situation(hooking up to pc not an option)

Hi thanks for reading not sure if this is the correct place to post. I'm rather lost on my options and fear that I've essentially totaled my phone.
USB isn't recognized(yes I've updated drivers and confirmed my cord allows data transfer and tried with usb debugging on and off), this is a hand-me-down phone I received rooted, attempted to apply Cyanomod (successful but got the No SIM issue even though I could call and receive texts no data though) proceeded to follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831898
However after installing the latest modem my phone went into soft brick - boot looping.
I then decided to wipe Cache - D.Cache - system - Data. After doing this over and over I accidentally wiped internal data as well (fixed this issue by buying a micro SD card today) So now I got all my .zips and roms back where I can still flash.
Still in a boot loop and have read that maybe my recovery (TWRP) could be the cause of this, seeing how I've basically wiped everything multiple times to try and get to the bottom of this.
Is there anyway I can use the Command Terminal IN TWRP to flash a newer version of TWRP ( because I had not used the latest TWRP )
If so can you please give me the command line in which I could use the .img of twrp-3.0.2-0-d2att.img and when going into the Command Terminal at what level should I select?
I really can NOT afford another phone atm and I'm very gracious for any help. I've watched and read many useless videos/articles over the last few days and can't seem to find a video that would involve not using a PC to use Odin.
P.S. - I'm also prepared to go back to stock everything if that's what's called for atm but first this boot loop is the issue. Thanks in advance.
