Need more info... what method do you use to apply the settings at boot?
I am moving my setting up to 1600 volts. It keep going back to 100 volt.
it could be that the rom/kernel you are using doesnt support overclocking. if your phone cant take the setting you put it will reboot. it acts as a fail safe so you dont fry your device.

Oh boy.... that means your phone is at idle.... its going to go down... moving it to 1600 is called overclocking... which makes that the top level your phone will go to when using it and its not supposed to stay there... if your just looking at the screen yes its going to change levels and eventually go down to 100.. if your phone stayed at 1600 constantly you would have a fried up paperweight because it would get extremely hot... if this is what your talking about, I suggest removing voltage control and do some research on overclocking and undervolting first before using it again.

If it does not support it, the 1600 option would not even show up as a possibility.

Na thats fine to do in moderation as long as you watch the temp... Now if you leave it overclocked and keep it in hot/confined places or for whatever reason it stays at that level (which there is no way it should) for a long time... Yea, your gonna have some issues more then likely.
Edit: Let me rephrase it... i personally feel its fine to do in moderation and havent had any issues as i have made sure to keep an eye on the temp... but everyone feels differently about it and some people are completely against it.

but to answer your question... i don't believe there are any guides for that. and it does, in fact, sound like a hard brick. i would look into replacing it. if someone on here thinks of something i didn't or knows how to fix this.. chime in. but if i were you i would just get it replaced.

did you try plug in charge and go to bootloader? it should vibrate if your charged.

Are you sure your battery is not dead? Try removing it / putting it back or try another battery.. There are known charging issues and theres a thread about it somewhere.
Aramis73 have you tried to remove the battery and keep it off for about 30 minutes, reinsert it, load it with the current and try to turn it on.
Did this just happen all of a sudden or did you do something you weren't supposed to?

You should trade it in for a Samsung Galaxy S II, we have loads of people who don't understand forum sections, I'm sure you'll feel at home.

Sounds like you had the crappy recovery and got boned without a charge.
What you need is :
A. Another Sensation Battery to try and boot with.
or
B. A wallcharger for the battery itself alone.
Once powered back on you need to flash the modded Revolutionary CWM available here
So, after you have downloaded the above zip place it on the root of your SD and power into bootloader mode. It will ask you to update, agree & you'll be back in business in no time.
This is the best case scenario you can hope for.
Goodluck !
Guys, im the developer of Power Switch, an app that switches off your tablet's screen when you shut the case.
The main thread can be found here:

Ive had reports of problems with the pad's light sensor, so would appreciate some debugging feedback.
You can use the lite version to test, it has all the features, but just wont save as much juice.
Thanks in advance. Feel free to reply here or in the main thread, i read both regularly!
Great idea. Does it require root?
Also, it would have been awesome if it could wakeup automatically as well, like the iPad smart cover.

That is a mechanical function. It is possible on android too, but it would kill the battery as you could never really put your device to sleep.

Who cares about a little battery juice? The cool factor would be awesome. Maybe as a timed option? Like 5 or 10 min. or more "auto wake" feature.
Fortunately, everyone cares.

I don't, and Im sure there are others that would like the option. As a developer who is trying to sell an app you might consider not generalizing your customer, rather say its not a feature I can, or wish to add to this app. Your app does have potential. Thanks for your efforts.
Ill keep that in mind. However, as a developer with some experience i still think everyone cares. Everyone who understands just what would be happening if the teblets screen would be off but it wasnt sleeping.

I think the auto wake up function would be great! Maybe you could make it as an option, people who like it can turn it on and who doesnt like it can turn it off.....
Installed it last night. Set the Auto Shutdown to 5:00, left most other defaults on. (Enable Sensors/Use Light Sensor). Plugged into AC. Closed screen and could see screen was shutting down. After 5:00 would be off. In morning (closed screen) fired it up and at full charge.
Quite nice! Anything else I should look at in the app?
I wouldnt mind if you had a good test of the sesitivity defaults...
I couldn't get it to work on my Transformer, it would only work the first time after that I had no luck getting it to register the closed lid, nor my hand covering the sensor..

And people like you are the reason the bootloader was locked.
I don't understand how this is even possible. Why would you think it was okay to Install a ROM over top carrier specific phone.
At the very least you could have asked to someone on the forum or created a thread if it could be done before you flashed it

It's not an answer. I'll give you an answer, OP: You flashed the wrong ROM. You are now bricked. If you want to be unbricked, send it to a JTAG service http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/
Next time do a little more research. Clearly you missed step 1 which is NEVER FLASH A ROM THAT ISN'T MEANT FOR YOUR PHONE.
You know you guys could just be helpful instead of being very rude.

His way isn't a USB dongle. We see this at least 5 times a week in every section for this phone. People flash the wrong ROM (usually international) and they get no life out of it. The only way people have gotten it back was having it JTAGGED.

Instructions:
1. Turn off your phone and pull out the battery for about 10-15 seconds.
2. Just put the battery back and don’t turn it on.
3. Plug the USB Jig into the micro USB port on the phone.
4. After about 2-3 seconds, you can see the yellow download mode logo on the screen.
5. Unplug the USB Jig.
6. Connect your phone with USB cable to computer and then flash your phone via the program “odin”.
I'd try taking your battery out, holding the power button for a few seconds. Then leaving the battery out for 30 min first, before buying one.. I doubt it will work, but I have came out of bricks that way (blew my mind). Still prolly should do that when using the dongle.. MOST EVERY THING can have a dongle put into it, it's what the developers use to foce hardware into manufacturing mode, developer mode, customer mode, clear mem, maint. mode.

Nah, had the phone not froze and you've kept on using it for a long period of time - then yes, it mightve damaged something in the long run.
But since it froze right away, the odds of something getting damaged is minimal.

Nope, no idea. I dont really see the point on OC'ing a phone, all it does is drain the battery faster , and the S got plenty of power as-is

hi guys,
i seriously think i have the weirdest problem on my nexus 5, i looked for ages for someone with that problem. and didnt find.
ever since i've replaced my screen and my battery (pretty sure it's an original one) every now and than my phone just turns off.
the weird part is, it won't turn on until i plug my phone to the charger.
i can plug it even to one second, and than i can turn my phone back on.
and it won't turn on in any other way!
I have this problem for a long time so i gathered some facts:
* it can happen regardless of how much battery i have. it can happen in 90% and it can happen in 10.% but i did found out it is more likely to happen the less battery i have.
* it happens more when i use stock apps: google search, google maps, camera...
* it happens almost always when i take a picture with the camera , especially if i use flash
* it is more likely to happen if the device is wormer (after a long heavy use...)
* it is also likely to happen if i press the "back" button a lot of times rapidly to go back to home screen
Ask lg
Have you isolated the reverse power flux coupling?

That's fine, except no one here is going to be able to tell what you did or didn't do when you opened up the device and replaced the battery and screen. There's some very sensitive circuitry in there. Could be anything. Most likely NOT software-related or other folks would be having these same issues. and they're not.
