I used the rom Chobits Digitalis V1 from some time since i decided to update to v1.8 but i encountered a problem. The touch screen doesnt respond, but phone is working and phisical buttons. Please help me to resolve that problem without reflashing because i dont make a backup before and i installed so many programs and games which are hard to install and make them work. How I can resolve that problem?

got a problem with my camera for quite sometmie now
everytime i press the camera button i could on the screen that camera app will open for just a second then suddenly closes.
already tried to upgrade to big storgagea dn to version 1.13 but still same thing.

if you tried a hard reset and also tried a fresh instalation of shippied rom (not bigstorage rathere ur operator rom like if urs are jam then i-mates rom or if ur are o2 mini then o2s rom) and still the problem is there then it is surelly a hardware problem...kind of like the camera ic is dead...
hi i have an allwinner tab similar hardware to ainol novo 7 advanced
i flashed few firmwares on it of different tabs( ployer momo 9 , ly f1) and they were working good
except novo 7 advanced firmwares ( touch was not working at all )
then i flashed a different firmware(onda v140) on it and the screen went white when powered on .
then again i flashed my default firmware everything is working now but touch screen is responding very differently . this is a capacitive touch . i have even tried flashing those firmwares which were working perfectly before but now the problem is common in all firmwares i flash .

then after that i tried flashing onda firmwares for 7 inch tablet that has auto recalibration of screen function after flash.
the touch points changed from previous one.
now my question is since this is a software/drivers issue how can i get it back
is my tablet bricked ? any chance f bringing it back to life.
rest everything is working fine including camera. and i am able to use adb on pc and run commands easily ..

the firmware that i flashed accidentally was for 9.7 inch tablet and after that the controls changed .

have you tried to shutting it down by holding power button for a long time (it will skip the do you want to shutdown option) and turn it back on again?
i had a trouble once with mine. a lot of resets (the small hole button) and reflashing ICS did not help. but strangely when i shut it down normally like that, it came back normal
edited: sorry if it doesnt work, my problem came suddenly, not because of changing firmware.

I had some problem like this.
But for me, was the ROM, so i updated that and work it.
But, sometimes is just the "Advanced Settings".. when the screen turn off, the Wifi disconnect automatic..
Check this out, or try another ROM, or update if have some update to do..
Tried that, but didnt work, how to update original software, tried v12 v9.3 rom and now im using kyrillos v9.7....

i installed the zero launcher in my tab...but as it didnt seem totally compatible with my HCL U1 , i uninstalled it... since then the home screen just keeps on blinking whenever i start my tab.......... there are no icons appearing on the screen...................... PLEASE HELP.....how do i fix this??

YOu might have to goto settings>apps> find the home launcher from the all applications tab and "clear data" of the launcher.. This can solve your problem
