Thanks, same for me. that's how this app came to be.

went to market and d/l v1.1.... did not work, won't find internet connection and does f/c if you tap on the " no applications found"
I'm guessing that doesn't support ics? if not, any plans for that in the future?
thanx,
Z.

Thanx for updating!! Looking forward to trying this out!
I also appreciate the rebuild for ICS as well. Will come in handy as I don't wish to d/grade back to gingerbread.
I do have a quick question, are you going to integrate any security tools? IE: wireless, lan, packet type stuff and what not... ? If so, that would be really great. But anyways, looking forward to trying this out and about to d/l the latest version now. Thanx again and your work is appreciated!
Z.

Thank you for updating the app and the prompt email response... Great app...

[APP] MySQL Manager

I'm trying to get a feel for what kind of demand there is out there for a MySQL manager for Android.
Obviously there's only going to be a small niche of people who would want/use one, myself included, so I guess I wanted to get the feedback of the people on these forums to see what demand is like.
I'm currently building one that I plan to stick on the Android Market in the next week or so, and I'll let everyone who expresses interest know when that happens. The first version I put out will be a "lite" version. Features will include:
Create/Edit/Delete server/db credentials
View a list of all Tables, Views, and Stored Procedures in a db
View first 100 records of any Table or View
Drop Tables, Views, and Stored Procedures
Add/Edit Views
Add/Edit Stored Procedures
Run custom queries
If the demand and responses are good, I will completely re-do the UI, add some nice graphics, and put out a much more feature-rich version. Not going to waste my time to do that, though, if I don't feel there is enough need.
Thanks in advance to everyone who responds!

I would definitely use this. Personally, running custom queries would be the only thing I would use it for tho (i'm a sql/command line ninja haha). Hard saying how often I would use it. Currently I just ssh into a nix box and use mysql client from there when I'm remote/without a laptop and need to fix something.

I have released the initial version of my app on the market. Search for AndSQL.
Keep in mind, this is a very rough first version and is not intended to be complete with features. If response/feedback is good I will re-do UI, add graphics, and style it. Any feedback is greatly welcomed. Thanks!!
-teleknEsis
Can't find on the market, is there a download link?
Also, about "Run custom queries" is there the option to save/load the queries too?
I will appreciate that because i often run the same queries, so i save and load them when i need

As of right now there is not. This would be a feature I would definitely add if I decide to make a 'full' version. This was really more or less just a quick tool I made for myself to do quick db edits/checks on the fly when problems are reported. It has a ton of potential, I'm just not sure how large the demand is for a 'full' version of this.
My app targets 2.1 and up so not sure why you don't see it in the Market, but I'll go ahead and post it in the OP. Look for it there.
Ok, thanks for reply, it's quite useful already to do quick and emergency checks.
I'm on froyo now, so i should be able to find it in the market...

Downloaded from here.
It seems to connect, at least i don't receive any error, but i don't see the tables/views/sproc, and if i try to run a query the result is empty..
Tried with 2 different db on 2 different servers.

There's likely a bug in my connection error reporting. If you're not seeing any tables or views then there's probably something wrong w/ your connection settings.
Make sure your MySQL db is set to allow remote connections, and also verify that the port you specified is correct. Hope that helps
Im' pretty sure everything it's ok, from my home pc i can connect without any problem...

Hi gadus!
Actually the process scripts are pretty difficult to add, you'll have to add unrar to system partition (need root) then set the script (some example available on nzbget website).
But I'll try to implement native unrar "next year".

this is a good energy-saver
postprocess would be great and yes i do love it!
running it on my new UG802 which i bought before and just googled nzbget :victory: :victory:
btw how does it "cache" the downloaded files?
would be nice to run in ram or on usb-storage entirely, i don't trust the internal nand too much

This app is phe·nom·e·nal ! Excellent port and work! Once native unrar is added this will be the best thing since canned beer. I can hardly wait.
Yes the app is amazing. I mounted a network drive using CifsManager and set the path within the DestDir field but I'm getting an ErrCode 2 when it tries to create the destination directories on download.
I'm guessing it has to do with permissions. Can anyone provide some guidance?
Thanks!

Hi, just tested NZBGet Mobile. Everything works fine.
Got a Nexus 10 with "only" 16 GB. I haven't rooted the device yet.
But i also wonder if it will work with mounted drives as destination directories (CifsManager, Stickmount etc.).
Seems fairly good to me - but one major problem I found was adding the NzbProcess=~/nzbprocess.sh path as suggested. Now when downloading files they just disappear into the void instead of putting completed files in the specified directory. Possibly due to the non-rooted device I tried it on.
I have to disable this option go back to manually deleting all the partial rar files afterwards which is a real pain. Otherwise very well done. :good:
This is very interesting ... Thanks!
I use to have a running version of sickbeard on my phone, but it was way too much hassle to keep setup
This might be better
1st post updated with new market link ! ( had to change package name as i did lost this keystore :x )

[WIN - ANDROID] AndroSync

Hey all,
I want to present my new Windows app which synchronize all your music tracks from your Windows music library with your
Android smartphone.
I'm someone who daily adds new tracks to my music library and when I'm out I have to realize that all my
new music is at home. Maybe someone know this problem...
Some days ago I thought about a solution for this problem and so I created AndroSync. AndroSync is a app which
synchronize your Windows music library with your Android music library. Simply connect your Android device in USB mass storage
mode with your computer and it will copy all your new tracks to your phone.
I have presented this app in some other forums and there I got much positive feedback und the recommendation to present it
here on XDA.... Here I am
I'm actually waiting for my website programmer to finish the english website version. Cause of this I can only present some
pictures of my app which are in the attachment below.
It would be nice to know your opinion to my application and if it's worth to update the program with new functions.
#
Greetings
Timo
If you can add support for MTP protocol which most phones use nowadays this app would be golden! Could you please consider that? It would be so awesome if you can do it!
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Hey,
You mean without USB mass storage mode right?
If yes I could do it but I want to release the actually version first cause its
already finished but I'm still waiting for the website :/
p.s. Thanks very much for your reply :victory:
Yes I mean without mass storage mode. Most nexus phones and galaxy s3 and many other new phones use this instead of mass storage mode for the internal memory. Hope you add it. I and lot of other people here would love it! Thanks for the great app!
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Hey,
Your feedback makes me happy cause I maybe created an application for everyone
I will try to add this function NOW in the german version and when its finished I will
add it in the english. Maybe I should put both in one program?
How ever... MTP here I am
Please add Wifi & Bluetooth!
It'll be fast enough as I sync daily
If I wanted a comeback outta you... I'd scrape the roof of your mouth...
If you want mine,. it'll land between your shoulder blades soon enough.
Hey,
I wanted to finish the Windows version first cause when I want to use Wifi I have to
program the app for Android.
Great app where can I download it ...
Edit: I'm on mobile at the moment so I will transferit to my pc when I get home..
Any help would be much appreciated..
Sent from my shooteru using xda premium
Thanks for your support guys,
I'm thinking, that I should continue dev AndroSync with much more
functions as MTP (4 sure) and Server (Windows Server for Home Server users)
If you like that idea, pl send me an email [email protected]- or simply comment in this
thread but i will read my mails first *g
If you send an email 2 me: It would be great to hear your ideas for AndroSync

[APP][2.2+] AirStream: Access your computer like a Dropbox

Hi Friends,
Would love your feedback on our app - AirStream
We have built this awesome app using which you can access your files from Computer on Mobile devices from anywhere in the world. As you might have also experienced most of our data like movies, music, photos & even important work documents are still residing in our computers. Even today there is no easy way to access them on Mobile devices. But with our solution this is as easy as using Dropbox, imagine accessing all your files from your computer from anywhere in the world without any limit on GBs.
What you will love:
1. Access alll your drives & files
2. Easy & quick movie streaming
3. Integrated music player.. create playlists, import playlists, etc
4. Access computer over 3G/4G
Attached are the new builds that we will release on Google Play. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Procedure:
1. Install the apk in android
2. Copy the .jar version of AirStream desktop client to your computer & run it.
3. Login on both ends using the same credentials.
(both the .apk & .jar have been zipped due to size constraints. We have a .msi version but not able to upload due to size constraints)
Check the screenshots for your reference.
Awaiting your feedback.. feel free to reach us at [email protected]
Edit::
An older version of this is available on Google Play. The changes to the new version are:
1. Patched AirStream-Sky functionality on Android. Older version had a bug which prevented the app from accessing computer on external network. (There is still a issue on Desktop app, which sometimes require a router reset to access computer on external network)
2. Added indicator to notify whether the app is working on Local Wifi network or external network.
3. Much better graphics & UX. The app is much slicker & smoother than older one.

Hope it can transfer from mobile to PC/mobile, too!
Hi, got this up and going in a few minutes. It's awesome! Something I've been looking for in an FTP like client/server setup. The beautiful thing is AirStream's simplicity. Streamed music straight away and have yet to attempt a transfer. I understand server to client functionality is fully functional. I'm experiencing it. Is the reverse true of transfers? That is, client to server. I did see someone else ask this question yet it hadn't been answered as of this writing. Thanks for the app and sharing all the work you've placed into its development. Cool. Practical. User-friendly. Literally up and running in under 7-10 minutes! Sweet

[MOD] Spotify tablet mode

Good evening!
If you're reading this, then you for sure know what Spotify is. We all love listening to music and, ugh, that's the synonym of Spotify!
Unfortunately, this work could be used for two fully opposite reasons, one of which is against the XDA rules, so I had no other choice but to close this thread (and remove links). I hope you understand me and sorry for the inconvenience.
Feel free to read the history below. It was a fun ride!
Time ago, the app landed on our lovely Android platform for both tablets and phones and honestly who wasn't excited?
Soon after, forced shuffle mode and limited number of skips were also introduced and I agree that there must be a reason to purchase Premium after all. Luckily, this restriction was not enabled on tablets, but a problem that appears is that far from all tablets are detected as ones - mainly the "smaller" ones. This [bug/miss-code] activates the restriction on your tablet, and as a fix was needed from either side, here was my solution.
This mod was created for all those "small tablets" that are incorrectly recognized so that you can use Spotify the way it was meant to be used.

Regarding Facebook log in issue:
The signature/private hash (or not) of this app was not matching the original one Spotify had registered on Facebook. Absolutely understandable since this was a modified version.
As suggested by Romain12345 (thank you!), can you log in with your Facebook credentials instead of clicking on the "Log in with Facebook" button.

MEGA is never down, it only needs the app for android if you want to download from phone. That's the reason I personally won't mirror.
About installing, you need to have "Unknown sources" enabled in your Security settings. Then just open the APK and install it as normal. If you still can't figure it out check YouTube for thousands of tutorials.
Server is down

I've downloaded the apk for mega, and also tried to access the website. But it refuses to open the website or allow me to login to the app. Hence the servers are actually down. Op if possible can u post it on a different cloud?. Thank you for this amazingly brilliant apk!

Op u can as well check again, it's no longer a news that mega is down for now. You see people testifying. You can check up urself
@ViRb3 It doesn't work on gingerbread android again...
I think it's a problem of apk version because on Google play it was written that the version varies with device.
So please If you give me your email, I'll send the last apk version of spotify compatible with gingerbread to you.

OP I could possibly kiss you all day and it wouldn't be enough. Worked like a charm.
Also the server seemed to be down only in parts around the world. So anyone being unable to connect simply use a VPN. Works perfectly with a VPN.
Though it is currently up again.
Op finally I got it downloaded. Thanks so much but I have a question. Is it possible for me to download for offline for free with this mod?

Absolutely not. I am not "hacking" Spotify and making it Premium-free and that will never be my aim. I am just making it possible to run in tablet mode on smaller tables.
Works like a charm, thank you
Logged-in with facebook, why does the op state it's not working
