Thanks to you all!

I just wanted to thank all of this forum's great people and dev's.
This is one of the most friendly forums I've ever visited.
I bought a white Sony Xperia S (not to be confused with the Arc S) and therefore will not be visiting this forum anymore.
My Desire S was great, but I had poor build quality and the wifi deathgrip was simply too annoying for me (I use the phone in landscape 60% of the time).
The one thing I'll miss most will most certainly be Sense, but Sony's interface is nice as well .
So thank you all once more!

good luck.
Take a look at the one series...was Lucky enough as HTC guys visited our office with The almighty one x , one s and one v.....the best looking phone was one s....he scratched the phone up and down back and front with a coin....nothing...no cover or case required....when u hold the phone in hand it feels its made out of one piece..cam was superb...just thinking to buy the one s....one x is out of budget....anyway all the best and glad I got the opportunity to meet the one series....

I know they're awesome, but the problem is they don't have a screen that fits my needs.
You see, the One X has 1280x720, but 4.7" is simply too huge.
The One S however, has the perfect size of 4.3", but only 540x960
My new Xperia S has a 4.3" screen with 1280x720, giving it a whopping 342ppi.
That was simply my main reason of purchase, since I watch a lot of movies and animé on my phone.
I think htc is much better than any brand that produce android phone.
Might their hardware is better, but at last their android is just android with som new icon. All of them is these changes.
But in htc you see the complete system with sense & widget
For example at last, many android phone have accuweather app, but just htc have beautifull widget and in sense 3.5 with beautifull movie , ...
All over, i like htc any way

One X or Rezound?

I Really want to get a new HTC phone so i could get rid of my blackberry. I used to have a touchpro 2 and loved it!
so ive been researching both the rezound and one X but i can't come to a conclusion of which one to get... just looking for some opinions.
Thanks
(You are on the One X forum, people will ALWAYS say that you should buy the One X)
Anyway, the Rezound is a phone from last year (not even the best one). The HTC is currently the best phone on the market equipped with enouf hardware to last the next 1-2 years without a problem!
I'd go for the One X unless money is really the issue, then go for the Rezound. But if not : One X all the way.
I've also posted this on the rezound found and there are mixed reviews(some say one x and other say rezound) so it doesn't really matter where i post
Sorry but such threads belong in the General General forum.
Cheers
i got my htc one x today and what a phone you wouldnt be disapointed if you got one
How can you even compare the two. One works for cdma, one doesnt..
Depends on your carrier, If verizon, rezound, if not A one X variant. Rezound could still hold its own today and probably will for a while. But that one X is sexyy

yeah i just got it for 3 days, i downloaded and installed some apps and it works awesome, I haven't experienced ANY lag yet, altough i even play really heavy games. and yes, its processor(Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 play 1.ghz.) is not that impressive on paper, but when you try it out, it dousn't differ that much from the HTC One X, that i have too. Altough the HTC One X really is a beast, i prefer the Desire X, cause of its compactness and speed. I just use the One X for developing and testing ROM's. So bottom line: If you want a good, compact, low-budget phone, buy the HTC Desire X :good:

[Q] Should I buy a HTC one X?

I'm looking for an Android phone with a good camera and it seems HTC One X fits my budget ($250). I read that HTC One camera develops purple fringes. Is that true for One X too? Please advise if it's still worthy buying HTC One X or if you have other suggestions please let me know.
Are you wanting the HTC One X or the HTC One XL / at&t One X? You're asking in the HTC One XL / at&t One X forum. The camera on this phone is fine, I've never had a problem with it.

It's going to be mostly AT&T HTC One X. That's what I find being sold in Ebay. That said I was assuming that there should not be much difference between the AT&T version and the other versions of One X. I could be wrong.
They look similar but they're entirely different on the inside. But you're in the right place for the at&t version. In my opinion it's the better phone; far superior development if you're looking to unlock/root it, the Qualcomm chip doesn't heat up nearly as much as the chip in the international One X, and if course it's LTE too.

That said, it's an older phone (as phone development cycles go) that's not getting the newest Android, so... you know, as long as you're OK with that.
Just to be clear, it may not be getting the latest Android via an official update but I'm currently running 4.4.2 thanks to our developers. Just saying it won't get the latest version might be a bit misleading.

Hoxl for me has been awesome. Its time for me to upgrade devices but I enjoy my hoxl so much I'm actually pretty content with it. Curious to see if hTC will survive its money issues and possibly create a curve version
Senseless Power Unlocked
No. I hate this phone. The battery lasts too damn long and the 4G is too fast.

I'm sure you can find Moto X's around 250 on Craigslist or eBay? There is that Monday Sale (300$) coming up as well.
Outside of that, One X is an okay choice. It would be better if you wait though. We're probably only 2 months from HTC introducing their next phone and that could probably drive HTC One prices to 250.

What ROM are you using?
I'm strongly considering buying the Moto X tomorrow, but if I can get good battery life with this phone, I'll gladly pass.
I'm on cm11 w/stock gapps.. If you use 4G exclusively you'll get roughly 8 hours. Its hard to tell from this shot but standby is amazing.

Moto X is strong piece of hardware.. I haven't checked out the x forums but the the moto Atrix had excellent Dev support.
Just don't expect much from Motorola.. And for that reason alone I can't recommend the x.

i assume yes
you can check in gsmarena site for details of its device
Yes.I checked it on gsmarena site.Seams to be looks good but it has battery life problem so lets se if other peoples replies on this thread.
I would go for the one x without thinking twice... Better build quality, better display, more ram...
NO MORE HTC SENSE DEVELOPMET.......YOU DONT SEE SENSE 6 ON HTC ONE X.....STUCK ON 4.2.2 SENSE 5
hey guys,
I just checked it on market. There's one guy has One X and it was running sense 5.It seams to be its UI,touch, using is same as our Sensation except it is powered by quad-core nvidia processor, light weight and a big clear screen.
my suggestion is not upgrade to hox , better wait some time and get better phone
I think specs wise one x is definitely better than sensation. However one x and sensation are, frankly speaking, very old phone. There might be no more updates for these phones soon from our devs. So I think you should get newer phones.
