Good day,
I've looked through lots of posts, but can't find one similar to my issue.
I bought Magic id7003. It's not my first Android. I root it through SuperOneClick program. I have used FwTool to install new phone program on it and after this my tablet screen died. Service center changed my screen (tablet was on guaranty), but another problem appeared - and this is my actual question: Now I can't enter recovery mode.
This massage appear: "The Device Enter Fastboot Mode, Please Connect USB TO PC or Reset The Device, Waitting...........".
Only restarting helps get rid from it. Hard reset doesn't help eather - it leads to the same massage.
Thanks a lot.
Hi guys, as I explained in the related thread, after downgrading from ICS to GB my O3D p920 thanks to berni's guide, I'm now having troubles fixing my IMEI.
I followed this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1734330 without success.
After a short conversation with Pesach85 I noticed that, when connecting the phone to my PC in debug mode it normally detects and installs all the new hardware. But, after dialing 3845#*920# and selecting "CP Download image" from "Port settings", it seems to DISCONNECT ALL THE PREVIOUSLY DETECTED HARDWARE, and installs a new device (Intel(R) flash loader utility).
If someone tells me how to let all the hardware stay connected to my PC, I would be able to fix my IMEI with tutty.
if there's another method to fix the IMEI please write it here.
PLEASE HEEEELP!!
I've been in the same position for a while. Make sure to try the LG Support Tool recovery in S/W mode. (Remove battery, unplug USB, press vol UP, plugin USB - Power + Vol UP. It should show S/W mode. Depending on which loader it should show some korean text).
If you enter your IMEI number to repair the phone it should fix it all. Tho if you came from ICS you might need to do a factory reset after that when the phone boots (it will nag about no space available).
^ +1 This works. It will unroot your phone, but it will restore your IMEI.

Restoring IMEI
1.Connect phone by USB
2.Activate USB debug mode
3.Enter 3845#*920# in dialer if that doesn’t work try 3845#*925# or 3845#*720# if device is SU760
4.Select Port Settings -> Select CP Image Download
5.A new device should appear at let it install
6.Open Tutty (or hyperterminal) and select serial protocol. Click on open
7.Type AT if response is not OK, change port number (it is possible that when typing you don’t see any letters)
8.Type at%imei, it should display a dummy IMEI
9.Type at%imei=x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x where x,x,x... is your orginal IMEI number (found under the battery of your phone). It should response IMEI WRITE OK
10.Reboot phone

Click to collapse
But little changing in the above,
step 3 depend on your phone model or rom in it like for SU760 code it 3845#*760# and for P920 it is 3845#*920#
in step 4 I selected CP USB instead of CP Image Download or CP Reset
Final I was unable to get it to work in Windows 7 so I tried on Windows XP in my office and method magically worked and my imei is restored. I can make call and so on now

Hopefully your problem is already solved if not, after step 5 check the device manager what your phone is assigned com port com4, com5 or whatever com"xyz" xyz is a some number then in the hyperterminal in All Programs -> Accessories -> Commincation -> Hyper Terminal and in new connection select the com port your phone is assigned whatever that xyz was and start the connection and proceed.

Hello everyone who may still peruse this section of the forums. I know I have a low post count, but that's cause I normally find answers to my problems by reading... Today is a struggle.
I have recently aquired a Sprint Galaxy Note Edge, it has the n915pvpu5dqi5 firmware installed.
I have followed directions from a couple of different sources and have been able to get freezas Notedge beta rom with the Emotion kernel installed and working, however I'm still limited on LTE bands my phone will connect to.
My intention, and I don't know if it is possible or not, is to use QPST and QXDM to modify my NV memory.
I have reverted back to the original n915pvpu5dqi5 firmware, and I am trying to get into diagnostic mode for QPST.
I used *#66336# and set the CP Debug level to CP RAMDUMP ON.
After reboot I used ##3424# went to Qualcomm USB setting and set RNDIS + DM + MODEM.
When I go into QPST to backup, (using my MSL in the box titled SPC) it starts to Backup NV memory from phone, and it will get to 18% before giving an error that says "Could not communicate in Diagnostic Mode."
Can anyone advise me on how to get into diagnostic mode or if it is possible with this phone being upgraded to the latest bootloader(QI5), or is there another kernel out there other then stock that will allow me to get into diagnostic mode (I'm told a lot of the custom ones cut it out, why? Over my head...) to edit the NV memory and unlock other lte bands
what is QPST ? and what are you trying to accomplish?
hello guys, can someone help me with this situation:
how to activate usb debugging mode or unlock the password in this situation?
the points are as follows:
-the cell phone password has been lost, the screen is locked, it is asking for a numeric password, everything that will be done asks for a password.
-I can't do the hard reset because I need to recover the photos from the phone.
-model samsung galaxy j7 (2015) - model: SM-S700m / ds
-I tried to change the firmware but didn't worked, it even changed the language in one of the changes and keeps asking for a password always.
-I tried to follow some procedures but always give some error, in short I need a solution to activate the developer mode in some way by adb is not working too because require debugging mode to work, and is giving error,I need some solution to remove the password or to enable debugging mode, if anyone knows any solution or can help me thank you because I've spent hours trying to find a solution, thanks.
