You need some Custom ROM with Xperia S port stuff I think, for example my DiXperia 7.
i couldn't get it to work properly in my phone (ps: i have the latest Cobrato's MIUI)
should it be the cause of these FC? anyway, thanks for the effort it's very kind of you
chazy chaz, yeah, MiUI is not Stock ROM, so it's possible . No problem dude, take care.

xperia s music player ? for x10

Hello
I just like to have the music player on the xperia xperia x10 2.3.3 s stock is this possible?
Is there anybody who could do it?
thanks in advance
You need more files from Xperia S firmware (ported) to make it working on Stock 2.3.3 without any tweaks, not only music apps. Why you don't want to try Custom ROMs, which are better, faster etc. etc.?
Dear DikeJ! I used your zip file from other simiar thread and I succesfully port music player from Xperia S to X10. Of course I've made proper build.prop and add semcgenericuxp.res and that's it. So I also managed to port apps like phonebook, calendar, conversations. That's because I've tried almost all custom roms, but be honest, only stock one 100% works and it is the best.
Regards, Zagor
P.S. But also I think that yours is the best custom.

totally agree that stock roms work the best. custom roms are definitely faster but just never that stable
Maybe you didn't try the newest relases from know Devs . No problem, I'm happy you've made what you need, take care guys .
Hey guys i agree at the fact that custom roms are better than the stock one,in every kind of way.u just have to know which one to choose, meaning the most stable one.im using cyanogenmod 7.2 RC1 n its perfect.but if u find porting items from other phones to ur own better then enjoy.

@zagoe,since u ported xperia s music player,can u giv me a xrec file pls(only music player)
Dear addak!
At first you must tell me if you allready port 2.3.4 apps.

Yes i port 2.3.4 Apps

So, addak & yohannzaoui!
We can do it this way. If you want to equalizer work properly, after flash 2.3.4 apps DO NOT WIPE CACHE. Reboot, copy semcmusic.apk from Xperia S (take it somewhere else) to /system/app, set permissions, flash .zip from bellow. Voila. Working Xperia S's music player. You can switch Xloud through equalizer and finally I don't give a f**k for metadatacleanup.
Regards, Zagor
P.S. Nothing of this is not my work. It belongs to Sony & devs (especially DikeJ) from forum, so please do not hit thanx button.
Zip no works thanks

I told you guys you need more than only music files from Xperia S - more, more files from system dump/or ported to other ROMs. Why can't you just use some Custom ROM, where 95% things are "ported/working/etc." from S?
Yesss thank you it's work

[MOD] clear bass sound enhancement port

this work is based on my experiment on tipo's and xperia s's sound lib and apks. as you might already know, xperia s have clear bass option along with their xloud. on tipo, we only have xloud mod. after several experiment with the sound libs and apks, with some help from ethan, I succesfully know how to port this feature into tipo. the good news is that porting this stuff is easy. the badnews, native sound setting for tipo have better, stronger, solid bass. however, clear bass still have better sound clarity and virtualizer effect. if you want to feel clear bass on your device, you can use this mod on your device.
the files can be downloaded here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?89v86tqe3zf46o4 (sorry, no flashable zip file yet since we dont have cwm at this moment. you need to copy those files manually into your system. the correct permission is rwxrwxrx). you can reboot after install all these files into your system.
the default setting is using native tipo's soundlibs with xperia s's virtualizer. if you want to activate clear bass, you can follow these step.
in /vendor/etc you'll find two files. one *conf file and one *confb file. the default setting is using our native equalizer lib with clear bass's virtualizer and effect. if you don't like it, rename the conf file into confa and the confb into conf then restart. the sound enhancement app only work with android music player, and google music player. you can download it from google play.
don't forget to choose sound enhancement as your default music effect. you can set it on setting>sound>music effect>
along with this mod you'll also get:
1. xperia s galery app
2. xperia s video player
3. bravia engine
4. etc. (you can find it by yourself)
to use bravia engine you'll need a rom with init.d support. you can choose to activate it or you can go to /data then made (or edit) local.prop. put these lines on it.
Code:
ro.service.swiqi.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi.enable=1
btw, this stuff only tested on tipo but it should working on miro too. this tweak include a beats app styled equalizer app. if you want to know more about this app you can visit this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1913164

UPDATE:
for anyone who want a better sound quality in your xperia phone, you can try this app. after you set the equalizer, press home to turn it on.
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?n46kt5ald2etl2v
TIPS TO GET LOUDER SOUND:
1. install this clear bass mod.
2. with root explorer or something similar, go to /system/vendor/etc.
3. rename audio_effect.conf to audio_effect_stock.conf and the audio_effect.confa/confb to audio_effect.conf.
4. reboot
5. go to setting>sound>sound effect. choose - sound enhancement
6. open your music player
7. open the beats equalizer app (you might need to open the equalizer app twice)
note: there's a bug in this app. this app will be closed if you don't have enough ram space in your system. if this happen, you need to open the app once more from your launcher to activate it. more information about this app could be foud here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1913164
im gonna try as soon as possible..thanks for your contributions on mods/TWEAKS for xperia..these are tested on TIPO? or anyone tested on MIRO?
The software on miro is similar with the one on tipo. It should be work on miro too.
could you please explain in a bit more detail the method of using the bravia engine?
kuro could you make a flashable zip?? Please and Thanks
Until there's update for this stuff there won't be any flashable zip. I know, its not convenience to copy the files one by one but I need to make sure the filesgot copied into system. Last time I checked into cwm thread there's a report about problem when install a flashable zip.I
For the bravia engine...after you copied all the files into your system n reboot, check into setting-display. If there's no braviaengine option copy two lines mentioned in 1st post intoyour local.prop in /data then reboot. If you don't have local.prop in /data you can made one by yourself. Sorry for late answer...its alil bit cramped here.
one of the lib file is missing from the package. please add this lil update to use bravia engine http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1540042&d=1354752820
can you mod the xperia v walkman with clear phase and clear sound to our device? that will be great :good:
I've been trying it but still no luck...sorry
hi.
can i use it in tipo dual ? and is it required root?
Sent from my ST21i2 using xda app-developers app
yup...its require root to install it.
I sense a difference in Poweramp too, though I can't be sure. But it's definitely more clear, no extra bass though.Still, it's quite more clear.
if you're using the files without modification, you're actually using tipo's stock soundlibs with xperia s visualizer. if you want to feel sony's clear bass, you can follow the instruction given in 1st post. the sound clarity is a lot better than the stock one but the bass isn't as solid as the stock one. sony's clear bass is using different equalizer lib with lower freq setting to get a better-clearer-solid bass. however, our stock earphone doesn't have good low freq response. thus, you feel the bass isn't as solid as the stock one. to get a better music experience you might want to use a better earphone. something with bass reflect feature might a good choice.
need Help no sound only bussing sound

I root my sony xperia tipo dual after that i install bits installer than i install bravia engine and bild.prob which you told me to write script .
i reboot my phone but i lost my sound . i cant even play music there is busing sound only...what should i have to do to repair my phone plzzzzzzzzzzzzz need help .
beats audio isn't compatible with sony's audio system. the only way to restore your system is by flashing a stock rom with flashtool. you can try replacing all files in /system/lib/soundfx/ with my files and replace libaudioeffect_jni.so with the one from my pack to get your sound back. however, you might still lost your xLoud.
Thank you , can i restore phone by using the sony xperia update services ?
I never tried it but it should be working. I alwaysprefer to use flashtool since I can do it anytime without internet connection. if you use sony's update service you'll need a good internet connection to download the rom.
is this work on xperia miro?
upgrading tipo
bro, how long this process will take???
because after restart, a screen appeared showing "Android is upgrading...", but after more than an hour, it is still stuck on the same screen... :crying:
Please help me...
