I just like to have the music player on the xperia xperia x10 2.3.3 s stock is this possible?
Is there anybody who could do it?

You need more files from Xperia S firmware (ported) to make it working on Stock 2.3.3 without any tweaks, not only music apps. Why you don't want to try Custom ROMs, which are better, faster etc. etc.?
Dear DikeJ! I used your zip file from other simiar thread and I succesfully port music player from Xperia S to X10. Of course I've made proper build.prop and add semcgenericuxp.res and that's it. So I also managed to port apps like phonebook, calendar, conversations. That's because I've tried almost all custom roms, but be honest, only stock one 100% works and it is the best.

totally agree that stock roms work the best. custom roms are definitely faster but just never that stable
Maybe you didn't try the newest relases from know Devs . No problem, I'm happy you've made what you need, take care guys .
Hey guys i agree at the fact that custom roms are better than the stock one,in every kind of way.u just have to know which one to choose,meaning the most stable one.im using cyanogenmod 7.2 RC1 n its perfect.but if u find porting items from other phones to ur own better then enjoy.

So, addak & yohannzaoui!
We can do it this way. If you want to equalizer work properly, after flash 2.3.4 apps DO NOT WIPE CACHE. Reboot, copy semcmusic.apk from Xperia S (take it somewhere else) to /system/app, set permissions, flash .zip from bellow. Voila. Working Xperia S's music player. You can switch Xloud through equalizer and finally I don't give a f**k for metadatacleanup.

I told you guys you need more than only music files from Xperia S - more, more files from system dump/or ported to other ROMs. Why can't you just use some Custom ROM, where 95% things are "ported/working/etc." from S?

AS the title suggests,can somebody make a xrec flashable zip? with the required things........also i tried installing the app directly through root explorer n it plays the songs but when i press 'MY Music' it force closes.....if u feel this thread has to go to Q&A,pls do so

You need some Custom ROM with Xperia S port stuff I think, for example my DiXperia 7.
i couldn't get it to work properly in my phone (ps: i have the latest Cobrato's MIUI)
should it be the cause of these FC? anyway, thanks for the effort it's very kind of you

Hours of working,and finally its done,I have made a flashable zip of xperia s music player through xRecovery,I have tested it on wolfs stock rom and it works like charm,maybe you could check yourself.I have also added default music player for those who want to revert back to it.

yes i tried it on wolfs stock and use my rom it has got everything you need and i have made xperia s theme but it works on some rom and not works on other ,it can be fixed but then you will not be able to get complete xperia s experience

in some roms it just works perfect and in some the cover doesnt shows up,i dont know what the problem is coz i tested it and it worked 100% fine.thanks

Possibly, its not my area of expertise. Maybe some other people who have already modded walkman apps will do it.
But I can have a look and try, thats how you learn. But its not as easy as the keyboard, I imagine there will be lots of different apps and libs to include to make sure all the features work correctly...

Hi all,
Just realised that i dont have DDMS installed on my new works laptop so I cant take some nice screenshots of the swipe in action.
I know i can use the phones screenshot ability to take shots of the keyboard, but if anyone else who has installed this could do a range of SS for me with the settings, different layouts and a pic of the blue swipe I would be grateful. Just post them in a new post and I will link the screenshot bit of the OP to your post and give credits,
