How increase hear/speaker volume - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

Hi to all,
I would like, on my galaxy S 9003 SCL, increase hearphone and speaker volume because it's poor.
But I've seen that on market there are only app (volume+ etc) that works on ginger... I use froyo!!!
My two 9003 (one is rooted, other no) are both with froyo and android 2.2.1
Is there anyway to increase/boost over the maximum my volume?
Thanks a lot

Wrong section my friend. To answer your question you can use dps manger on some Rom or use voodoo control to increase volume

OK, wrong forum, wrong section.
Go to your phone's forum, then if they have a q+a section, post in there, otherwise post in your general section.
@lainalenajr
Many roms don't have dsp/voodoo support.

Um how about trying the volume up key LOL jk I would upgrade to gingerbread and use volume +. I use it and is super loud ear piercing loud

I don't know... Try to quit all processes before you install with task manager.
Go to the original thread and send your adb logcat output, maybe the dev can help you out.
installed perfectly.
i can see the person on the other end good but the volume seems to be pretty low to be useful.
Yes, even with the volume maxed out it's pretty low. Using a headset is useful

Are you holding both volume keys the entire time and removing the battery? Sounds like maybe you are forgetting to do one of these things.

You have to hold volume down then power when the phone is completely off hold both keys tell the white lg Logo is gone then you should see recovery if you see a software update screen then you didn't flash recovery right

And before the update I had used super one click and it was easy from there
The apps I had before say error no root privileges
So I'm lost, I have looked it up on here but I guess I'm not looking for my answers correctly....

[MOD] wake up phone with volume keys !

i hate reaching for power button to wake up phone!
this mod will wake up phone with volume keys!
this mod is made by GideonX, i asking for it on tmobile gs2 forum and he makes it for me!
this mod tested on "Deodexed" 2.3.6 stock rom.
wake up phone with volume keys
This works great. I just noticed however that it made the text in the Recent popup change from saying Task Manager to 4G Network Disconnected, although clicking it, it still correctly opens the Task Manager.
awesome thanks.
Exactly what I was looking for. Now, to find out how to install it (novice here), haha. Already rooted, but no custom roms running.

Use Root Explorer or any other root file manager.
or just flash it.. like you flash any custom rom!
I just need to have my phone rooted and this will work? Or do i need that other rom first?
Widgetlocker also has the function to do so

widgetlocker has wake on any keys, but it cant wake up samsung (phones).

So will flashing it work if I'm running stock Rom but rooted? Or do I need to flash that Rom?

i9000 Custom Roms on i897

Is it possible to use the Galaxy S custom roms from the i9000 forum on the Captivate?
Im new to this part of XDA, seeing as I just picked up a pretty beat up captivate for 20$.
Before I get flamed or anything, Im just asking. I searched it up and went through nine pages and found no results answering my question.
IF there is a way, may you please link me to it?
Thanks.
Jhoopes517
Yes.
But u need a "Reoriented Kernel" for the firmware of the rom u want to flash...jvr, jw4 or whatever it is.
Search in the Dev forum of the Captivate. U probably will have to go back a ways.
Edit: here are some... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=13043268

Yes you can , you can go with either as long as you run the proper kernel .
I9000 with I9000 , 1897 with I897
the I9000 kernel will have the home and back buttons swapped but you can install button mapper , free n the market , and reasighn them
you can also run modified JB 4 at this time , Slim Bean , X Bean so on , but you will need to install the mapper program o XBean

Because the op didn't have a cappy 3 months ago. And 3 months of time on XDA can equal to 300-400 pages of posts, or more. If he posted in the development section, then flame on. But general sections are for inquiries such as this.
This info helped me, so thanks for bringing up a 3 month old thread

7Here's a zip I threw together it increases the default volume to 75 just watch it's very loud start with your volumes turned down a little then increase I don't want to see you blow your speakers I've have my all the up with no problem but just in case. I know this works on lg stock based ROMs haven't tried it with any aosp roms yet. I use it on malladus ROM and it boosts all volumes across the board every ROM is different so some volumes may not be boosted or some may even become lower you'll just have to try it out and see you can always revert back to stock.
To install or revert wipe dalvic and cache then flash zip in recovery
Here's the link to the download - https://www.dropbox.com/s/eic6dnf07ty20gi/speaker-boost-75.zip
Here is a revert back to stock https://www.dropbox.com/s/r0127sykfys75cc/speaker boost revert.zip
OK do some people asked for lower volumes and some for higher volumes so here's both
Volume booster-65 link- https://www.dropbox.com/s/9jvitdqor4r8ild/volume boost-65.zip
Volume booster-85 link- https://www.dropbox.com/s/192w1qiidn7vhdc/volume booster 85.zip
I've found that 85 works better with aosp ROMs as with stock ROMs the volume is just to loud
Also combine any of my volume booster mods with vipers4 android fx and the sound is incredible here's a link to his thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
I take no responsibility if you happen to blow your speakers *flash at your own risk*
And check out my other thread all around volume booster: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2769799
If you like it please give thanks

I haven't tested it but I see no reason why it shouldn't work will test in a few
Just tested works like a champ old values set back to 60 just remember to wipe dalvic and cache first then flash in recovery
Just now tested this 75 is too much for speakers. they are bursting 70 will be enough
