Mine stops after a few seconds ....for example if it's raining it will show rain animation the stops with rain drops on the screen ! Is this normal ?

Just try a different wallpaper. You don't even state which you have. Unless you mean the weather lock screen, that's normal.
No he means the weather LWP that comes with the HOX, which he clearly stated in his first post.
This happens to me as well after 10-15 seconds the no matter which weather animation is playing, it stops. The only way to get it going again, it to change the LWP and then back again the the weather LWP. But again it will stop. I really like this wallpaper, especially the thunderstorm portion...much better than any other out there for weather related LWP.
If anybody out knows a fix for this, we'd love to hear it, thanks.
Guys there's a better live weather wall paper in the play store. Just look up weather live wallpaper. It's the one from beautiful widgets. It's great imo.

Would it be possible for someone to make a live wallpaper that, like the grass live wallpaper, would change based on the time and day as well as display the weather at the same time. For example if its cloudy you'd see clouds through out night and day. Same with snow, rain, etc.
I'm not a programmer, but would assume that the weather sync would be a resource hog.
It would definately kill your battery fairly quickly, as it would constantly be on.
However, I would really like the other idea of yours.
Maybe at sunset show the sun on the horizon in the East (right side of the screen), noon it would be up high in the sky and set on the left side.

Does Beautiful Widgets do the same thing when you wake the phone as the HTC clock widget does as far as the weather annimations?
I don't miss Sense, but, I do miss the neat things like the rain and wipers, the lightning, clouds moving all across the screen...and such.
I don't want to buy BW only to find out that it doesn't do this. I don't want to have to touch the sun, clouds or moon to get the animations moving.
Did a search, and found things on weather animations, but, didn't really explain much on what type of animations happend and how they happened.

There is an option to have animations when you wake the phone up. I didn't want it to slow my phone down any so I did not enable it. I'm not sure what all animations it will do. I searched online and found the .apk for it before I bought, to make sure I was going to like it.

Yes it does have an option for animations on unlock in the advanced settings mode. They're not quite as cool as HTC's but they work
there are animations as stated already.. my suggestion would be to buy it and try it out.. u have 24 hours.. if u don't like, u can "return" it..
there are SOOO many more options with using BW over htc sense clock... i wouldn't make the complete decision based on an animation only..
There are sooo many themes. Right now I have a 8-bit or mario theme, so my clock is themed out to match.
Can anyone suggest a weather widget, or even know of one, that is JUST the picture/graphic of the weather? I'm going minimal these days with my homescreens and need something to match. Seems every widget has a clock or forecast for the next couple days, etc. I simply want, if its sunny, a sun. If its raining, rain drops etc.. I've seen similiar ones for the moon phases etc, but can't seem to find anything for weather..

Well am not sure this is rom related but if you going into the widget selector and scroll down to weather there are 3 of them in there with 2 small ones.
You don't say if you even bothered to look at the phones selection of widgets.
These are from beautiful widgets. You can turn off the background so all you get is the weather. It's in the market if you want it.

Going to check it out in a few. Wonder if I can edit that to remove the text(temp, high/low) somehow. Is it simply removing a line of script in the file does anyone know?

BW has an lwp that displays just the weather.

Weather bug has a nice small widget.
As I said with the stock weather widget you get several small ones. This is the smallest on that is available without having to buy anything.
simi clock has a minimal weather widget too.
Anyone else's live wallpaper pause or freeze when scrolling or just in general?
The Beam wallpaper doesn't even animate and the weather wallpaper just stops animation. The water wallpaper pauses when scrolling through home screens. It's rather annoying, especially since I love having an animated wallpaper. I am new to HTC Sense so please bare with me on my knowledge.
try another launcher and see if it has the same problem

Like the wallpaper, but don't want it live moving, anyway to stop live wallpaper, keep the still wallpaper only?
