Is there anyone working on the official Cyanogenmod 9 for our Sensation? If so, where can I download the nightly builds? Thanks.

Actually OpenSensation being "unofficial" is quite an official CM9 for Sensation and pretty stable and good now. You can find it in the development thread.

The official team for pyramid is opensenation. But there are no official nightlies for it from cm themselves. However, there is a nightly from a dedicated person and it is linked in open sensation thread.

Does anyone know when the final update for cm9 nightlies will be out?I've been told a month or 2.

When it's ready. The nightlys are perfectly stable now anyway
Are you running the Rom?If you are how long have you been using it?

They're good, I'm using one ans have been for about a week but I don't change my signature because it looks awesome.
I find that pure ics roms have worse battery life and find arhd and leedroid much better battery life.

You've broken the first rule of cyanogenmod; Don't ask for an eta! Its ready when it's ready. Also, there isn't ANY phone yet that is close to getting a "stable" cm9 release yet.
I've been running AOKP (based on pyramid's device tree), and it's pretty stable. No show stoppers for me.

there is no stable version of CM9 at this moment in time... this could be found out by going to the CM website for the pyramid http://get.cm/?device=pyramid and clicking on the stable link in the upper left... a little bit of reading and searching will take you a long way!

No cm10 stable ?
Nope.

The sense of the world "stable" varies from user to user.
CM9 is the most stable version for our model since it HTC released official ICS with drivers, so ICS based roms should have no problem (at least in terms of kernel / support).
CM10 is pretty much stable for me, no reboots for a week and like I said, it's a matter of opinion. Do some reading and give it a go, your opinion will matter more in the end when you have the experience.

I use this ons. No complaints at all here. Works very well, haven't needed to reboot if ik wasn't for the updates of the rom. Its not a stable version, butt it is pretty stable tot me. Updating is via the goomanager so updating works pretty much like a normal HTC rom. Download the rom plus Gapps, and you will have aan nice good working smartphone.

:good:
The CyanogenMod 9.0 has been in the works for quite a long time now but it seems it is only a matter of time now before the final version gets released. But before we get there, the CyanogenMod team has decided to release the first Release Candidate today, that includes support for 37 devices.

Nothing really at this point. The RC is just the recent nightly. From here forward the nightly builds will be based off the RC and will include experimental tweaks and fixes until stable enough to be deemed worthy of RC2 or Stable titles...

What are the differences between these 2 roms.arn't the both senseless roms?so could someone please explain the differences in the 2 roms. Thanks!!!

As far as I know, aokp is bases in CM sources, making it possible to put many tweaks in ROM Control. And I think that AOSP ROMS for the sensation ( At least virtuos Inquisition) is a de-sensed ROM, where the developer removed all sense components from a ROM, in order to get the smooth AOSP ROM

Aosp stands for android open source project, which means it's based on Google source. Aokp stands for android open kang project, which is based on Aosp and cm but tweaked and kang. And cm is a modded/tweaked Version of Aosp.

I'm really keen on having official cm10 for sensation. Im checking the progress everyday via BBQ droid. But recently I cant see any activity there, do you think that team CM stopped deving for sensation and we will never get the official cm 10?

There is a kang of CM10 and CM10.1 availble in teh Dev forum.
Both are GREAT roms and both are VERY stable with all the CM goodness.
But like I said I'm intresylted in official one

Or here: http://goo.im/devs/cm/pyramid
By the way, there's pretty much no difference between the cm10/10.1 on the xda forum and the cm10/10.1 that is on the CyanogenMod website. The ones on the CyanogenMod website are just the basic stripped down version of these ROMs on the forum.
