Is there any way to change the Music App associated with the HTC Car dock app? I tried to play around with it earlier, but had no luck. I'd like to make it Google Play Music.
Was wondering this myself.

In my opinion the car dock app isn't even practical without play music support. Hope a solution comes quickly!

Is there an app or option somewhere to make music play mono? I only use one bud at work and it would be nice to hear all the music. I Googled and only came up with dead threads with no answers.
On iPhone/iPod there was an option in accessibility for that. For the deaf and such. Just wondering if I overlooked it something.
Thanks!

Some headphones/earphones have a switch on the cord that allows you to switch between mono and stereo.

Not what I'm looking for. That requires a purchase of new hardware. I want a software solution.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get Pandora controls to popup on the lock screen when it is playing?
I'm looking for something similar to what Google Music does.

I'd like this for Power Amp as well. It's gotta be the way the app is coded, since HTC Music, Google Music, and BeyondPod all show the HTC lock screen controls.
Maybe email Pandora and ask if they'll update it.
Did a little research, apparently the only way to get lock screen controls is by using widget locker and put the actual widget on the lock screen. Only problem with this is that they don't disappear when pandora closes.

Well that's something at least. I'll check it out.

Hi I was wondering if there was any way to listen to music through the ear speaker, like where you listen to people in phone convos when you put your phone to your ear. Nothing permanent but where one can toggle between normal rear speaker and the ear speaker. Thanks!

If I am not mistaken you can use Tasker application from the Play store.
It allows you to create rules for Bluetooth for indevidual settings

G2 mods? And not Bluetooth I mean the speaker built into your phone above the touch screen.

Well there's a "media redirect" on the play store, is that the one? Any more ideas anyone?

Hey there, you can use the earpiece app from play store which is a very lightweight app. Although it says android 4.3 and above are not supported, it worked perfect for my android 5.0 powered intex aqua power plus
Anyone know where I can get a better widget for Google play music? Don't like the 4x1 they offer and don't keep any music stored on my phone

Nope, Google only provides that one widget

Anyone use this app with their N5? O can't get any song to buffer and play.
On my HTC One (4.3) works flawlessly.
Any help appreciated.

I'm an idiot. Found out prob is in setting need to go to song not playing and switch to V2.
On a side note i use Monster DNA over ear head phones. The HTC One is 2X louder than the N5. But for casual listening is just fine.
May need external amp for using with loud speakers. Not sure.
