Several people reported bootloops after update which is pretty simple to resolve: all you need is to uncheck the 'set on boot' checkbox in the processor options.

Has anyone had luck running a Sense 3.5 ROM on Boot Manager? I can use it with Sense 3.0, MIUI, and CM7, but get horrible lag with 3.5. Have tried RCMix and InsertCoin.

Yeah, but it doesn't help much. Time seems the best, but after two hours it is still laggy to the point of useless and I need my phone. How long does it take for a 3.5 to settle in usually?

Try changing the setting in SD Booster to 2048.
Its one of the options in the main menu in Boot Manager.

Still no luck. Also tried re-zipaligning and fixing permissions. Time is still the only thing that seems to work, but I lose my advantage on reboots. Tried increasing dalvik but nothing.
I'm thinking these Sense 3.5's are too intense for Boot Manager

Hi,
Go into recovery,
wipe cache and dalvik,
flash kernel like a ROM,
reboot.
Sometimes if you experiance many force closes after flashing a ROM it can help to "fix permissions" in recovery
Great thanks

As a matter of policy, after a few issues, I always "try" to do all three, cache/Dalvik/Permissions. I keep meaning to make a zip to do them all in one.
I want to back up the sense Rom and then install cm9 nightlies on my sensation.so first do I boot into recovery then go into back up?Do I use regular or advance back up does it matter?and then once its backed up then I go into install Rom from sd card correct?First I tap on the Rom download and wait until it competely downloads and then do I tap on the gapps and let that one completely download and then back out to reboot and reboot phone it reboots and then I'm done correct?would you please let me know if I have the procedure all correct.

Just download rom manager hit install from sd then it will ask if you want to back up your current Rom answere yes give it a name and its that simple.

RUU(Rom Update Utility) is the official stock rom for the device
otherwise follow bouchakour1971's suggestion(if you want to root and flash a custom rom)
