Anyone Loosing Backlights on Kernel upgrades?

Seems like all the kernels for me are having small problems with the backlights. The only problem is that it no longer comes on after turning the screen on, you have to tap one of the softkeys and then the light up. They go off when the screen goes off however.
Currently i'm on Stock Rom, Trinity 1.2.2 Kernel. I've had the same problem with morific's kernels with stock/Cm7 as well. Its not a big issue as voodoo sounds amazing, but im a slight perfectionist.
Thanks in Advanced

[Q] Haptic Feedback/Vibrate

Wasn't sure really where to post this. I just got my Mesmerize a few days ago and everything is working perfectly except the vibrate and haptic feedback is insanely weak (if I receive a call while i am holding the phone, I can barely feel it). I have checked all settings and the phone has been reset, reflashed, etc. It was doing this with stock 2.1 as well. Normally I would bring it back but it's an ebay phone. It is most likely a hardware issue, I guess. I just need someone to tell me I'm screwed so I can move on. Thanks!

[Q] Haptic Feedback Problems HTC EVO 4G

Hey folks i've recently notice that the haptic feedback has grown very weak on my Evo 4G. It's to the point where you can hardly feel it vibrate. I've been running HTC Sense 2.3 and also I am rooted. Once I noticed the haptic feedback wasn't working the same way I went into the sound menu and turned off the haptic feed and restarted the phone and clicked it back on nothing happened i've also tried holding the volume down button to allow the vibrator to stay on to hopefully notice a difference but nothing has still happened. I would like to know if there is anyway to fix the issue.

[Q] Volume Rocker Wake

Has any one seen a working mod to make the volume buttons wake the phone for ICS or the HOX?
I'm coming from a samsung captivate and have small(ish) hands and the current unlock via the power button is a two hand job for me. not to mention uncomfortable and unnatural feeling.
either a CWM flashable or something from the app store?
Thanks!

currently there is no stand alone volume button wake mod, but AOKP build 40 just came out and that has that option. you should take a look.
Thanks for the speedy response...
coincidentally i just grabbed a aokp 40 rom just a few minutes ago to try out with a couple of others.
Cleanrom was awesome on battery life but i'm kinda used to stock ics features and not sense 4.0..

[Q] Haptic feedback issues

Is anyone else having haptic feedback issues with their phone? I bought the phone from googleplay the first day it was available. It was all fine and dandy until a few days ago. Now, once a day the haptic feedback stops working until I reboot. anyone else with this kind of issue?

Power saving might be doing it. There is an option within power saving so that even if Haptic is showing turned on it will turn it off to conserve battery. Uncheck that and you should be fine. At least I was, have not had an issue since then.
i'll give that a try. thanks
