Hi Guys,
I am using the CDMA android phone and found that the phone is not able to connect the internet via 3G. The problem is that the APN is not set in the phone. However, I have another CDMA phone and there have a files call cdma-carriers-conf.xml under /system/etc. I copy this files to my phone but it seems that it doesn't work. Do anyone know how can I make the system to detect the cdma-carriers-conf.xml rahter than apn-conf.xml?
Thx,
Xcraft
Hello
i have motorola xt502 from china and all google base apps are not working (they are block)
i know how to use adb to connect to the phone.
what system files i need to replace so i would be able to use google on this phone??
So I recently bricked my device, it's an Lg Tribute with an operating system of 4.4.2 Kitkat. I found a site that provided the files for 4.4.2 Kitkat, but it specified that that operating system was for an Lg G2, and it gave 3 different files, one for Verizon G2 phone, one for a Sprint phone, the other for a AT&T phone. I don't get that, isn't an operating system an operating system an operating system? why does it matter which carrier you have? does that just change what texting/calling app will automatically come with the operating system and become the system app? Or does it go much further than that, to the point of it not being able to be installed on my Lg Tribute? My Lg Tribute is a TextNow phone which uses Sprint's coverage. Would I be able to install the files on my Lg Tribute since I use the exact operating system which the tutorial says to use for a G2. Help on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
