Nobody? Also noticed if you're in a completely dark room and lock the phone in a message thread with someone you can see the outline of the message boxes a split second I just want to know if this is normal or not since I just purchased this phone 2days ago.

Maybe you could be more specific: What ROM, Which version of the device....etc....etc.
The lines you are referring to are called "mura", and unfortunately they are a natural artifact in SuperAmoled screens.
Nope, don't have the same problem I had with the SGS2. It's clear as day for me in any lighting with accurate colors, including the whites.
And I might be in a small small minority here, but I prefer the pentile display. It's sharper and just seems to look better to my eyes.

Yeah but I found out its not just the messaging thread where the outline of some images appear before putting the phone to sleep its throughout the whole phone.

Mine's been doing this since the first week I had it (2 weeks after release). I can say it hasn't gotten any worse - in some light I can see the dust that's built up under that part of the screen though.
Here is a thread already on this topic.

The only reason I bought mine was I have difficulty hearing and I miss loads of calls but I haven't since getting this and its worked flawlessly but mine is the second version.

September if you backed them on kick starter, early 2013 for everyone else. I'm actually a fan of the black and white screen. It's more readable in direct sunlight, unlike a color LCD. To me, it still has to be a watch, which means being able to read and use it easily. I wouldn't want a full color screen because I don't intend for it to replace my phone, but rather to supplement it and add convenience to certain aspects, such as taking a quick glance to see who's calling or checking a text without taking my phone out. Oh yeah, and it takes WAY less battery than a color screen. There's a bunch of other cool features. Can't wait for it!! By the way, if you are looking for a color screen, the same company already has a previous model that you may be interested in..albeit not as versatile as the new model.. http://getinpulse.com
So I sent back one already for this and my referb I got back is not nearly as bad but they are still there. Basically, when I am using the phone in a dark area and the screen gives black , not off, there are black dots on the screen. This one is not nearly as bad but is it worth trying another one?
Opinions?

I think it's common for Super AMOLED screens to have them. Mine does at least

Well my first one was TERRIBLE with them. There was one that took up about 1/3 of the screen and looked like someone took a swab of paint and spread it around underneath the glass. This one just has a few small dots that are black

My GSIII has two relatively small blotches. Very annoying, but from what I understand if I get a replacement it will probably be worse.

Yea well I heard that vzw knows about the issue and are trying to filter them out so you can try your luck if you want

I just noticed mine having 2 small(ish) ones last night, I just thought it was very odd. So this just happens with Super AMOLED? Is this a panel issue or quality in assembly issue?

From what I remember from the galaxy s2 the Qualcomm chip actually doesn't do well arraying the colors, compared to exynos.

Mine has a few small ones but they're only noticeable in a dark gray. I haven't seen it any other time and it's a color is don't see often so I just let it go

Put the phone in the freezer for a day and they should go away or at least become less noticable. If they don't change the only solution is to change the display
