Using volume buttons to wake HOX - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Does anyone know how to get the volume buttons to wake the device? The power button is quite a reach and isn't the easiest button to press. I tried widget locker but it didn't work.

Use miui locker it allows the volume buttons to wake it... I've been using that since my sensation started having power button issues..

For volume there is an up and down switch on the left hand side of the phone. Press that while in a call for volume for calls. When not in a call pressing it will change the ringer volume.

(Q) App to disable volume rocker key guard?

Does anyone know of a way to disable the key guard for the volume key, so you can wake up the phone with the volume keys instead of the power button? My power button is so glitchy I try to avoid using it at all cost...
I tried the build.prop edit listed somewhere here, but it didnt appear to do anything...
Heard of "Shush!" ?
Great app!

Tdj 3.5 rom has back, menu and home button wake and if you flash jack_r1 wake sleep mod, it enables trackpad sleep.
What more would some one want? You have 3 buttons to chose from.

How do you get out of bootloop?

I've never owned an HTC phone that I didn't get a bootloop on. How do you get out of a bootloop if you can't do a battery pull?

Hold the power button for 10 seconds simulates a battery pull

You'd have to use a market camera app like Camera ZOOM or something and map the shutter to a volume button.
