[Q] Moto Chinese Input Method for MB865 - Motorola Atrix 2

Hi,
After searching all around the forums for MOTO origin Chinese input method for MB865, it seems there is no solution yet. I'd like to keep the input method as less as possible, which means I currently have to keep 3 input methods (For English, TC Zuyin and TC Hand-writing) and use them on my phone. Is it possible that the Chinese input method on ME865 to be transferred on MB865?
Thanks for the help and suggestion in advance.

So, I cannot just "install" some Chinese input packages from MOTO?
Thanks anyway for the advice.

Perhaps I was too afraid of losing my phone's (used in work) functionality to give it a try.
Here might be the answer.
1) Unzip ME865Retail-HKTW.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1635740
2) Copy GuoBiIME.apk/Latin.apk/LatinIME.apk/MotoImeTutorial.apk/MotoSmartHandWriting.apk/Pinyin.apk/StrokeIME.apk/Switcher.apk to your /mnt/sdcard/MOTOCIM (for example).
3) Copy libgb_im.so/libgcomm_jni.so/libjni_hwr.so/libjni_latinime.so/libjni_latin.so/libjni_pinyinime.so/libjni_pinyin.so/libjni_strokeime.so to MB865's /system/lib (Thus you might need a rooted phone & Don't overwrite existing file).
4) Open the file manager and Install GuoBiIME.apk/Latin.apk/MotoSmartHandWriting.apk/Pinyin.apk/StrokeIME.apk/Switcher.apk
5) Reboot the phone

I don't know the answer to that. I only speak English and i know i can cuss in English fluently. In the me865 rom there is a chinese keyboard. You could pull it from that rom and put it in whatever rom you want.

Simple method to install .APK that PlayStore Won't Let you install.

To install an app the PlayStore wont let you install do the following (You will need at least one device compaible with the phone)
Install ESFile explorer on the Device with the working App.
Tap On App Manager then Select and HOLD the Application you want.
From the List Select Back-Up
Then Back out back to the first page, and find the Backup folder, and go into it, then into the Apps folder.
Your see the APK backed up.
Then Press and HOLD, and select SHARE.
Share the file to your DropBox
You can then grab the file on your PC and install anyway you see fit.
If you have Unknown sources ticked, you can also then open Dropbox on the Nexus 7, navigate to the folder you shared it to, and install it from there. (Simples)
You could also share the file Via Bluetooth, I have not tested to see if it will let you install the file, but I cant see why not) (Thanks for the idea Gogeta)
I installed and am now using BT Smart talk this way.
Hope this helped someone.
If you find a simpler way please post it.
If I managed to help, please say Thanks.
How about download the apk and install it..

As Per Title, This is for files that PlayStore WON'T let you install. So no way to install it. The .APK may not be available elsewhere, like BT Smart Talk.

Good thinking.
I'll give it a try.
Thanks.
If you go to /system/data/apps all installed apps go in there, as far as i know. Is this what your trying to get? That way you can skip the backup and save any space that it takes up.

Or, you could use Quixer to send it straight over to the other device, no matter the distance. I like the Bluetooth idea as well though, that would be the easiest for single, close range sharing.

You should be rooted in order to access internal memory from your phone. Or use adb to pull the apk.
There's also lucky patcher but shouldn't share it in xda.

Persian Soft Keyboard
However, if someone has a LANGUAGE problem, what connection does this have with Baseband (Radio)?!
In my mind, this is just a software, that a phone needs, to solve a language problem.
I am in Bulgaria, so we use different alphabet here, called Cyrillic. If someone has got a British phone, branded, with no Cyrillic support whatsoever, then we simply install a program from Google Play to make it support our keyboard. Isn't your problem similar to that? Did you try the below file?
Persian Soft Keyboard
To configure, go to the "Language & keyboard" menu under "Settings". Long-press for additional keys.
Best regards!

IMO baseband refers to your radio firmware version which doesn't in any way relate to language. Language depends on rom.

No flashing was not successful it just flashed boot and that wasn't proper, the previous boot image appears and also fails to restart. Thanks for ur help anyways. Can you rectify the errors because this Chinese rom is loaded with some unwanted files and apps
Sorry i am not a developer, but it is really amazing that this package is useless. It was extracted during my phone upgrade. For Chinese firmware you can try to root your phone first and uninstall the unwanted apps.

I am just running this phone with single sinm which is airtel gsm ,haven't tried cdma yet in this firmware
SCH-i589 Firmware
I have
OPS : EUROPA_SCH-I589_v1.2_for_csc.ops
BOOT : APBOOT_I589FA13_CL890613_REV03_user_low.tar.md5
Phone : CODE_I589FA13_CL890613_REV03_user_low.tar.md5
PDA : CODE_I589FA13_CL890613_REV03_user_low.tar.md5
CSC : SCH-i589-csc-FA13.tar.md5
which works fine with Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.38.
I had formatted my phone (SCH-i589 CDMA and/or GSM) with these files. (many time )
But recently I got into a problem, I can't access Internet. Each time it shows the message to use the RUIM card, which I am already using (provided by Tata Indicom).
Can anyone help me with this ?
