Hi buddies
My sis has a htc ryhme & me we have language problem on current baseband(noob at htc I don't know what's it called) ،so I decided to upgrade to android 4 and install correct baseband (eu)
Downloaded baseband last night and today I understood I need htc sync app if I wanna install through pc , but found another thread says I can move file roms.zip from widows temp memory to sd and install it hboot , Ive done but hboot after checking file produced this dialogue:
Code:
Checking.. [PI46DIAG.zip]
Loading... [PI46DIAG.nbh]
No image or wrong image!
Loading... [PI46DIAG.zip]
No image!
Loading. .. [PI46DIAG.nbh]
No image or wrong image!
loading... [PI46DIAG.tar]
No image!
Loading... [PI46DIAG.aes]
No image
Loading... [PI46DIAG.enc]
And etc......
What to do? Checking took about 4mins ,i checked the archive with winrar its OK. I've done factory reset ,and now waiting to see what happens...

it depends in which format is the file(zip, nbh etc)
it has to be renamed in the one that bootloader is scaning the sdcard for it
how is it named right now?

PI46DIAG.zip
Bootloader is looking for PI46DIAG.zip and named it to that. ( As I said in the first post)
So why it doesn't detect the files inside the zip? Isn't it wired?

Persian Soft Keyboard
However, if someone has a LANGUAGE problem, what connection does this have with Baseband (Radio)?!
In my mind, this is just a software, that a phone needs, to solve a language problem.
I am in Bulgaria, so we use different alphabet here, called Cyrillic. If someone has got a British phone, branded, with no Cyrillic support whatsoever, then we simply install a program from Google Play to make it support our keyboard. Isn't your problem similar to that? Did you try the below file?
Persian Soft Keyboard
To configure, go to the "Language & keyboard" menu under "Settings". Long-press for additional keys.
Best regards!

IMO baseband refers to your radio firmware version which doesn't in any way relate to language. Language depends on rom.
JAM THAT THANKS BUTTON.
Happy to help.

What the hell are you talking about?
I'm talking about upgrading ROM to ics then you suggest me a keyboard app?! OH GOD
Ps:in the first post after writing baseband I said I'm noob in htc devices so now what?
#current rom does only supports eng & singapor & taiwan's native lang but I need west Asia languages(output lang is messed up).(Europian ROM does support Persian Lang too so thats why I downloaded it)
Problems solved (not completely) thanks to dear rzr86:beer:

Hi webstar1,
thank you for the hack! Unofrtunately it doesnt work on my megajump. I use Motorola Defy with Motoblur and have a different folder for the GSGPrefs.xml. It is in /data/data/com.getsetgames.megajump/shared_prefs/GSGPrefs.xml.
I killed the app and changed the mp value but when I start the game it gets back to the original value in the file and in the store. Has this been fixed?
Edit: OK I got it! You hava to delete the .bak file, which is created when you edit the original one

I had to move the GSGPrefs.xml file to my SDcard, install another app called "SilverEdit" which could edit XML files, edited it, moved it back with Root Explorer and only then it worked.
I got ADB but I have no idea how to use it XD
If you could tell me how you edited it, i would be greatly apreciative!

I tried to get android 4 on my unlocked samsung galaxy fit and have broken it. when i start it up it starts up saying "samsung", then "samsung fit", then it goes on to the purple andriod on a skateboard in a circle arrow (Cyanogen logo), then just says "android". Kind of like "clearing the air", since people use the word "brick" too often...

navigate to the file and just flash it via clockwork..

Of course there would be a way to change it.
Try going to recovery and wipe cache and data.
If that doesnt help then go to the thread of your Rom ask someone to tell you what number is the language and input option in your settings menu.
Navigate to it and then you may be able to change the language

Here is the newest firmware for HTC One M7 without the red warning on Hboot. I did not change anything but removed the texts.
I created this thread because Google now requires the texts "Powered by Android" on new phones/firmwares, and the red warning overlaps it (as shown in the attachment below). This makes the screen ugly, so I removed the texts to beautify the screen.
Note: This firmware will not wipe your device. If anything goes wrong that your device is bricked, I am not responsible for that. Before uploading a new version, I always test it on my own HTC One.
