Any one tried with an HTC sensation screen protector on One S? Their shape is almost the same!
Is they fit with each other?

i tried it,, I had one lying about from my Sensation
It fits but doesnt fit the whole glass, It covers the screen but not the buttons, or if you have it covering the buttons, the HTC wont be covered..
But if you have one lying about use it.. If your gunna buy one you may as well buy the correct one

Ok guys,
today an unfortunate incident happened with me..My desire fell down from my hand..As a result there is a hairline crack on my display..It seems to be superficial..My slcd is not damaged..besides touch function is also working properly..
I want to know tht if I replace just the plastic screen will my digitizer also get replaced??I mean are they both attached..
How much will it cost??I will opt for genuine one..not the ones on e-bay

Well. I'm now quite used to HTC Smartphones, and mostly (except for the PDAs and the recent HTC click) used a metal-hard-case with plastic screen-cover (or even complete, as for the Universal).
So now I bought the HTC Sensation and thought. a "simple" vertical flip-out leather case won't protect the device to my needs. The recent HTC Click is small and "capable" of accidentaly falling from 1 meters to the floor. On each other device, there were hard-cases which protected the screen with a plastic-"window".
But as far as I have seen, the only "hard-cases" or metal-protectives leave the screen open, which seems senseless for me.
Does anyone know any shops (shipping to germany) for hard-cases for the Sensation?
I have yet to see a case with a plastic liner over the screen....
thats what you're asking, right?
yeah, something like http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=10100000_1800000_11000335&products_id=13742 this, but (logically) for the HTC Sensation.
They are selling hard-cases for the sensation there too, but they say "open screen", so without plastic over the screen.
Hey I have seen a awesome case made by the company oterbox it had a plastic screen protector and it had better convenience options to make up for losses of having it in the case I have the evo 4g and it came with a external kickstands to make up for me not being able to get to the one built with the phone

cracked my screen last night and am going to be replacing the front/digitizer. does anyone know if a replacement from the XL would work? i only ask because i already have the euro/white battery cover and think the white digitizer bezel might look pretty good when replacing it...
thanks!
Of course not. The XL's screen is 4.7 inch whereas the Sensation's screen is 4.3 inch. Thus I do not think it will fit, moreover work on the sensation.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi guys,
Got my hands on the CandyShell Grip case, from Speck at my local AT&T store. This is a one-piece hybrid style case that incorporates silicone and plastic in one. So while you get a sleeker case (since it's not 2 pieces) while obtaining the benefits of both materials. It's pretty simple to put on, and I love the look - but removing this case is very, very difficult.
Check out the full review below:
Are you going to review the Ballistic Case for HTC One X? I need to know if it will fit my AT&T One X perfectly.

Unfortunately I don't have my One X anymore, it was my uncle's who doesn't live in the country. He let me use it for a couple of weeks and I took the time to post up some reviews, sorry!
If I do hear anything regarding the case and AT&T model fitment, I'll post on here.
As an fyi: the reason the openings appear to not line up is because the international model is a different size. Putting the case on was definitely more laboured and the speaker and charger ports line up perfectly as does the camera. My one complaint is still the power key. The volume keys seem fine but the power key is a *****.
Great review. Definitely loving this case so far.

Can you please post instructions or a video on how to remove this case. I have one and tired to remove it but I felt like I was going to break my phone.

Pinch the sides of your phone and push against the black silicone parts on the case. Not only are they there for protection, but since it is a thin layer of material, your fingers will put pressure on the One X and pop it out. Let me know if that helps.

I find that bending the case on the upper right corner makes for easy phone removal.
Thanks Ploone and gunnyman. Got it out.

I don't think that case was made for that phone. The openings look way off, must be made for the other version of the HOX
Huh? All my port holes line up perfectly.

The phone in the video is the internAtional I believe.
I have this case for my phone and the grip/ design looks awesome on my one x. The buttons are hard as hell to push like he was saying and its a pain to take the case off. But having used it a few days it definitely works well protecting my white one x.
I never really drop my phones and prefer to use them naked. Especially cause how sexy the one x is. But the case is slim and for those considering buying, definitely don't hesitate

I got this case included with a used HOX that I scored off Cl today. Decent case, but I wouldn't recommend it highly.
This case is awesome, but it's ruining my Zagg Invisible Shield at the bottom by the back/home/multitask buttons. By ruining I mean causing it to bubble up.
Is this happening to anyone else?

I just installed my candyshell and it promptly ruined my ghost armor screen protector and will not allow me to put on a cheap one from amazon without some nodding with scissors.

Stay away from this case it ruined my hox. Made it creak every time I press down on it and scratched it pretty bad. Also don't work with screen protectors

I wanted to see how many people use screen protectors . If they don't will it scratch easily or has anyone have any scratches because I hate my screen protector and I would to use it with out it but I dont wanna have scratches
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
I don't use one, I did on my previous phones. I always hated the way the screen protectors felt compared to the bare glass.
The only scratches I have are from dropping my phone on the street, they are more like little nicks in the screen than
scratches. Now that I already have some, I don't think I'll put a screen protector on. I do have a screen protector that came
with my Otterbox if I feel like putting one on.
I figure that by the time I need a new phone, I'll already have a job and enough money to buy a new phone, so I don't feel like
babying this phone too much.
I've been rockin mine completely naked since release back in may.. hardly any scratches, only noticeable in a well lit area with the screen off at a certain angle. My phone went face first on the cement and slid about 7 inches, and I also dropped mine and I slid across my wood floors and still nothing.
However my buddy has deep scratches that can catch a fingernail. Someone else I know dropped his and the screen cracked from about a foot off the ground..

If you're a girl (which you may be, judging by your picture) you keep your phone in your purse. Purses are dirty and have sand/dirt in them. Sand will scratch your phone.
*this is based on my previous girlfriends. You might be cleaner than them.

i use the screen protector that came with my otterbox. after awhile you don't notice it's there.
i got a little nick in the screen protector on my last phone. i don't want to know what would have happened without it!

Yeah I just though the screen couldn't get scratched . But guess I'm keep mine on .

Only problem with me is I hate to cover up this beautiful screen! It was the main selling point of the phone for me. The way I see it is the screen protector will get scratched too, slaying the gorgeous LCD. It'll preserve the glass, but I'll get a new phone with my upgrade and this one will be passed down to maybe my godchild or someone. Screen protectors are perfect for long term users/others looking for the highest resale value

this is the second reason i use a screen protector (e.g., helps with resale value). i've had one on my phone from day one; not much of risk taker when it comes to the screen.
No screen protector here. Not one scratch either. This screen is too nice to cover up.

You should be good as long as you don't put it in your pocket with your keys or anything that can scratch it. Also, remember to lightly get most of the dust off before you wipe off finger prints. That way you won't get any small hairline scratches. If you're careful you should be good without one.

I've always preferred naked.
Having said that I've damaged a few too.
If u want to resell, use a cover for the back and a protector for the screen.
The polycarbonate backing within a few days started to show marking.
The screen has a very feint hairline scratch down the middle, but it hasn't been dropped & I'm very careful with handling it.
I'm yet to find covers or protectors that keep the phone looking good as nude, but if u want it looking good as new u wanna cover it up.

I looked up closest ghost armor retailer and had them install the clear ghost armor on the screen and the black carbon weave armor on the back.
I originally had them put a white one on the back as my X is white, but went back and they changed it to a black one for me at my request. Looks good in white an black.
Cost of two pieces installed was 20 bucks, 5 bucks if I ever need a half replaced for life of phone.

I have never used a screen protector. When I bought my One X I was talked into the Zagg protector from an AT&T employee, It wasn't bad but after it started getting hot here in AZ, I pulled it out of my pocket and the screen protector was slidin around. So I took it off. Havn't bothered to replce it and actualy like it better without.
I have always preferred naked phones.
I have never found a screen protector that doesn't make the phone less responsive or make the screen less crisp.
Looking at your phone wrong can cause the One X screen to scratch. (See the thread in the general section, or just Google One X screen scratch)
Others have recommended the Zagg HD screen protector, but I haven't tried one myself.

I don't have a case but always had a clear screen protection on my devices amd never felt a difference. I'd rather pit one on then having to look at a deep scratch every time I look at the screen, that's thousand times more annoying to me.
