ROM manager hidden Easter Egg. - Android General

Hi everyone,
While I was goofing around with my htc wildfire, I opened Rom manager and I found a hidden Easter Egg inside it.
Long press on "install zip from sdcard" and there will be a message saying "Toggled Burrito Mode" and the icon of Rom manager will change to a burrito and it's name will be burrito manager
Haha really funny
Disable it by long pressing on "install zip from sdcard" again.

haha nice one

Doesn't work here
It does say toggled burrito mode, but nothing happens! Anyway, my favorite egg in android so far is still the good ol' Nyan Android

Lock screen

Anyone know of any lock screen apps or mods that will show my battery charging percent. My current rom only shows a lightning bolt. I would like a percent number.
Thanks.

Try our "Ripple Lock" from the market. It has options and you can enable battery percentage
Froggys go ribbet
Widget locker is great too. You have to pay for it though.

WidgetLocker is awesome, and you can put your battery percentage right on the lockscreen. Totally worth the money.
I'm loving MiLocker and it's free in ghe Market. There are also hundreds of different lockscreens that can be loaded into it.
Attached a pic of my Lockscreen using MiLocker.
Yup, that's what my lockscreen looks like. Swipe the center down to unlock. Left side to open the Dialer and Right side to open SMS.
I love milocker myself tons of lock screens to choose from.

Widgetlocker is the best at custom lockscreens with widgets, sliders, and quick access to apps you want! I like it
MiLocker
you can try miLocker, its free.
Is there a way to either remove the language on the milocker cos there isn't a setting where you can choose your preferred language for date and time. Not hating on Chinese, but I'd prefer everything to be consistently in english. Thx

You can edit the lockscreen, it's a zip without the zip extension.
Or keep looking, there are a lot of English only lockscreens.
Look for one called Ash Bolt. I'll list more when I get home.

Perfect thx. As far as editing goes, what tools are needed? I'll also look into the suggested one.

Here are a couple. The one named FivePoint_eng will show up in MiLocker as Testing. I never went back in to change it.
Do not rename, just copy each one to the MIUI/theme folder on the sdcard.
Ash Bolt comes with it's own wallpaper, but you can change it in the MiLocker menu. Five Points does not have it's own wallpaper.

You need to unzip the .mtz file, then unzip the lockscreen file, inside you'll find a file called manifest.xml. That's the one that you'll need to edit to make it English only.
When you unzipped the mtz there was a file called description.xml, that's where the name of the lockscreen is located plus someother info.
Then just zip each back up working in reverse.

Update: okay I have the testing theme set and running well. Thx again for those. As for doing the language edit, failed miserably with that. I guess I just need to get schooled a little on zipping those files back into .mtz file formats. The couple of times I tried it, the theme doesn't show up on my SD card. Back to the drawing board for me.

I've been using it since it was posted on AddictiveTips, and I have to say it is probably the best file manager I've used yet.
I have absolutely no lag, and everything is much more fluid than the other ones I used.
I tried it yesterday..... Couldn't create new folders.... I'm using 4.0.3

Working for me on CM9. Design and speed is really awsome. Replaced ES File Explorer
Maybe I'll move back once it leaves beta and won't be for free anymore.
First of all congratulate you for this great app. It looks awesome, and works awesome. I've been trying it a while, and there's just one thing that slightly bothers me: the physical back button of the phone (I own a galaxy s+) is supposed to go back where we have been (like works in the browsers). But in your app it works like "up". I mean, if I open the your file explorer, it opens a location, say mnt/sdcard/externalsd/myStuffFolder. So, say I've done what I wanted and want to close the app. In most apps double clicking the physical back button closes the app, but in yours, I keep going up in the root tree, so it's like several taps on the key to exite the app.
Like I said, is not a big deal, since I can press the menu key and then exit the app, but I'm too used to exit apps with that button, and it would be good to keep that consistency: back button should be back or close, not up.
Very good app though. Replaced my filebrowser!

Despite being in beta, I think it's one of the top file browsers.

LOL nice find!
Is it just me or are all the attachments gone? I don't see any screenshots.
your connection was just lagging.
The pics are all there.
Ah, you're right, they're showing up now. Funny thing, since now I'm wifi tethered to my Galaxy, but last night I was on my normal wifi.
Damn, I've been taping on "Screen resolution" for a half hour now and it hasn't magically changed to a 720x1024...
So no one kept trying to tap even after the first few taps? Boo!
Keep tapping ....your almost there
Don't tap, just hold down on the screen!

Read somewhere and found these new easter eggs in Chrome browser for android
First one, open Chrome, tap on tab button (number of tabs written in a box), now swipe up the screen 2-3 times, the page will do a flip displaying chrome icon.
Second one, open Chrome, and keep on adding tabs, till you reach 99, and one you open the 100th one, the number of tabs indicatior will change to a smiley. Smiley can be a smirk from google to display its prowess of handling upto 100+ tabs
Some screenshots of second easter egg
The jellybean easter egg is the same concept but shows a big red JB floating in the sky...

JB is interactive, after holding the big red JB for a couple seconds a bunch of little ones start flying around and you can touch and move them or fling them off screen.

[APP][MOD] GooglePlayStore v3.10.14 No "Keep Shopping" window

So after about version 3.10.9, Google decided it would be awesome to add a "Keep Shopping" button to a third window in the app store. Its really annoying if you ask me. So i removed it. Just flash the attachment in recovery and profit
Fixed zip installer from removing GSF.

thanks for that. works very well
However you are removing the GoogleServiceFramework.apk via updater-script, but didn't add it with the zip.
