I've been using it since it was posted on AddictiveTips, and I have to say it is probably the best file manager I've used yet.
I have absolutely no lag, and everything is much more fluid than the other ones I used.
I tried it yesterday..... Couldn't create new folders.... I'm using 4.0.3

Working for me on CM9. Design and speed is really awsome. Replaced ES File Explorer
Maybe I'll move back once it leaves beta and won't be for free anymore.
First of all congratulate you for this great app. It looks awesome, and works awesome. I've been trying it a while, and there's just one thing that slightly bothers me: the physical back button of the phone (I own a galaxy s+) is supposed to go back where we have been (like works in the browsers). But in your app it works like "up". I mean, if I open the your file explorer, it opens a location, say mnt/sdcard/externalsd/myStuffFolder. So, say I've done what I wanted and want to close the app. In most apps double clicking the physical back button closes the app, but in yours, I keep going up in the root tree, so it's like several taps on the key to exite the app.
Like I said, is not a big deal, since I can press the menu key and then exit the app, but I'm too used to exit apps with that button, and it would be good to keep that consistency: back button should be back or close, not up.
Very good app though. Replaced my filebrowser!

This will come in time my friend.. With higher root comes higher privilege that we can take advantage of, or HTC finally realizes and updates our devices with an option to enable / disable

Not without root access.
Why do people think the genius button is so horrible? Its helluva lot more useful than regular search, you would know if you actually tried it out.

I wish I could customize it to launch vlingo instead. Genius doesn't even have a navigate command. I would use it, but it starts way slower than vlingo and isn't as accurate.

I have used it. I like Google Search better. That and I get better results with Google Voice Search.

It's called choice. I don't want it for search at all. There are other apps that can take advantage of the search button on every other device except the Slide and the MT4G. Options are always a good thing.

+1 to map it to Vlingo instead...I wonder if I can setup a Tasker profile to do this? The "Genius" button so far is the only thing that has ever caused my phone to crash and reboot...
i love the genius button. i use it all the time plus there are navigation options in it. i use it all the time. it asked for an address and i said mine and it did great and had no errors reading what i said. or i can say a place i wanna find and it shows me ones around me then i click on it and click nav and its good to go. i love how it reads my text messages and i can say a text message and it does really good with picking up what i said with out having errors or not putting in words i didnt say.
Have you guys tried downloading Google Search or any other app that uses the search button?
Maybe that applicatino that allows you to launch anything with the search key.

zMooth works on rooted Droid's with rooted android 2.2+.
zMooth lets you use gestures to mimic your device's hardware keys (back, home, menu and power(in Pro)), you will be able to use very intuitive gestures to navigate your device.
zMooth is unobtrusive and uses minimum amount of screen space but very easy and intuitive to use. If you use for couple of days you won't even think about using the buttons.
After you install the app you will see a blue area at the bottom of the screen, swipe left on this area to go back, swipe right for menu, gesture a up-arrow(^) for home and gesture a lightning strike/thunderbolt to power off. Please check the screen shots and video for more info.
App website
App market link
Support is built-in to the app, "Preferences->Help" will resolve most issues. If not resolved just contact me through "Preferences->Help->Contact Support" and I will be happy to resolve any issues.
Thanks.

This is a great app! Sometimes it has trouble picking up back and search, but that's only because it will only pick up gestures to a certain degree of crapyness.

Thanks for feedback, updated OP with info.
Still using this and just bought the pro version so I.could.customize more. Now to get my button lights to stay off.
EDIT: Really like the turn screen off with the paid version. Don't have to use any of the hard buttons anymore, I don't use the search except when in stock recovery.

I'm using this app since the first versions and now I can't live without it!
I have just installed in my galaxy tab and it runs like a charm!
Five stars in the market!
Thanks!
For me, a perfect solution (after trying Button Savior and Softkeys). I came from the Incredible, and quickly learned to dislike the hardware buttons of the DroidX.
Zmooth solves the problem and really speeds up operations. Stable and configurable, too.
Hey.
Hold home button for task manager? Possible?
I am talking about just like the Vibrant, where you would hold the home button and then task manager would come up, where you could END ALL apps?
Is it possible on G2X?
Thanks.
actually, holding home on the g2x brings up the recently used apps for faster transition. its not used to end/kill apps. just to switch between 8 recently used apps.
Why are you using a task manager?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I don't know if either of you understand his question. The vibrant, stock, would bring up recently used apps like most other android phones, but also had a button on that "recent apps" pop-up that took you to the built in task manager that touchwiz had. This would allow you to kill any programs that were still actively running in the background.
I don't have an answer for your question though, sorry. I think that's a touchwiz only(and possibly sense) thing.

Active Applications in the market. Its free.
Its exactly like the vibrsnts task manager.
And don't worry about defending yourself to these people.
They did not understand my love for the vibrants task manager.
They ALL ripped me
But you want to be able to kill task like browser which does not close with the back button like other apps.
Yet leave the apps that would reopen alone. Just like the OFFICIAL Samsung task manager.
Active Applications.
Your welcome in advance my friend.

Actually doesn't CM7 have the ability to choose which program launches on long presses? I don't use task managers but I'm pretty sure I played with those in a long time.
Outside of CM7, I know there are other sneaky apps in the market to achieve the same effect.
On my cheap android tablet I bought for my son, he had the habit of running a game, hitting home, and launching another one. So I installed a task manager to kill all apps while the screen was off.
Sure it might not be the best idea on a PHONE but it worked VERY well for saving battery life. I think if you excluded the proper apps, you could gain the same results.
This, coupled with SetCPU, did wonders. Night and day difference.
I was browsing the forums and I came across this thread and the software is awesome. You can lock any app you want!

I had an issue with the same thing and this seemed to fix it:
The most accurate recognition will be achieved when all the training images are taken directly from front (i.e. no profile images etc.). Also, you should take training images in different illuminations (in those environments where you usually use your mobile). Sufficient amount of images per person is about 5 to 10.
give it a shot and see if it changes!

It doesn't seem to work on a rooted Evo. Every App I lock goes to the face program then the app starts anyway.
been using this all day here and i must say im impressed. now i just need this to work with the "stock" lock screen (take the place of a pin pass or pattern). that would be amazing.

I am running the latest MIUI and this works fine. Awesome application. My only complaint is that on MIUI you can drag applications to the top of the screen for an uninstall. If you do that with the app, it will remove it and then you can access whatever you want on the phone. Obviously nobody is going to really know that they can do that unless they are familiar with MIUI, but still something to nag about.
Awesome application.

Same here so what I did was place it in a folder and selected the HIDE APPLICATION option that way it cannot be found
That's what I ended up doing as well. Worked really well since you can't delete the folder with something in it, but you can't find what's in it.
Also, I found that if you hit the home key while the app is loading, it cancels the protection out.
Say you have it protecting messages. You click on messages and while the screen is blank for a second or two (The camera security is loading), hit the home key. Now open messages again and it doesn't lock you out.
Just me or others too?

I however would have liked it better integrated into Primo Launcher as I dislike installing a lot of little apps called plugins to fill gaps in a launcher.
Cheers!

With similar success you can claim that every Linux distribution steals from every other one because they all share the same core.
Great apps. I really like this primo apps. I am using its launcher in my another set . After that i forget apex or nova. This primo app provide me a new life on my gb based phone . This gesture is perfect except please provide the option to move floating icon to anywhere.

Primo was quite better than Apex... :crying:
If possible make a new primo launcher with same features as before but support gb+.
it's working good for me. I like that you can use a custom image and change the opacity. One suggestion I have would be to make a black background or custom background appear when triggered instead of a darkened settings menu. Just my two cents...
Edit: I j just noticed that this'd only happens if you exit the app from the app's settings menu. If you press back to get out of there menu then it doesn't bring up the settings menu when triggered. Does that make sense?

That doesn't seem like an issue with Primo Gesture. If you used another app to remap that button, then it began acting just like 'Search', not long press on Search, i.e. long press on that button is like what would otherwise be a short press on 'Search'.
