Hi, I was wondering today how hard it would be for someone to slip something nasty into a Rom if they wanted to.
How would we know?
Before anyone bites my head off I'm not accusing anyone, I was just wondering.

Unless you unzip and look around in the rom No you wouldnt know. What makes you say this

I just been reading about the growing number of trojans in Android and got to thinking that as I flash quite a lot of Roms I wouldn't have a clue.
I assume that if I unzipped a bad Rom windows wouldn't recognise it as a trojan/ virus.
If i remember correctly, lowveld said if he wanted to, he could put something nasty in his ROM. He said that when some dude questioned about the security of his ROM. Cmiiw
It's all about trusting the devs guys and always flash a custom ROM from xda forum if you found that you like.

is there a rom were it looks like the old sense, with out the 3d looking home screens and the way it changes for page to page, i just want it to look like the old sense so if anybody knows if theres a rom out there would you give me a link, please and thanks
Check my signature for the android revolution in I believe 2 or third post he has the flashable (no sense) mod. Maybe that is what your looking for.
I personaly like the 3d affects but others feel its a bit heavy on the device.
So anyways I believe that's what your looking for

i think i found what ur talking about but that looks like gingerbread, i want it to be sense, i just dont want the 3d effect

I think I messed up, let me tell you about the phone.
1. The IMEI says "unknown"
2. The security is last updated february 16
3. Wifi keeps on disconnecting
4. It's tmobile unlocked and it won't work with a cricket sim
5. Its very slow and laggy

I find some one in street Which sells fakes at 400 and 500 euro and the best He told me not to touch them he know who are novice in this domain

indeed i was asking the same. But so many n00bs on xda these days that i kinda start to hate it more and more. I see the same topics return every single month or so while most n00bs cant even use the search option.
