Rebooted.Again tried to root but it showed 'installation aborted' .I opened cwm app, but it showed that it needs superuser(root access) what should i do? i searched how to remove cwm and how to root on cwm but it shows a lenthy process of turning phone to stock rom... i would appreciate any help. Please help.Explain me as if i were an 8 year old.

Clock work mod can't be flashed by Rom manager unless your phone is rooted, root your phone first then flash clock work mod. If you do have recovery flashed on your phone you don't need to be rooted to flash a new Rom.
If you don't understand that abouve first you need to read on how to root your phone, once you have all your info you need and your phone is rooted you will need clock work mod a.k.a recovery. Once your phone is rooted and you have clock work mod flashed the FIRST step you need to do is make a back up. To me it dosent sound like you have clock work mod on your phone, you probaly have Rom manager app which is useless without root, you can't root through cwm. It's just root then cwm. If you use a app that roots your phone and dosent work then you probaly have a locked bootloader, google search on how to root galaxy ace or search here, I don't have a galaxy ace but a lot of members here do so I assume its pretty easy to get it rooted

clockworkmod is not available

I have an inspire that I got T-mobile working on it and after I rooted the phone i didn't flash it to a custom rom. So now I want to get ClearDroid in it, but when I tried to go to ROM manager there wasn't a pop-up saying there's an update for clockworkmod recovery.
Now I don't know how to get clockworkmod installed. I've tried looking in the forums for solutions but still no luck. I also want to know if I did something wrong with the rooting.
I would really appreciate the help.
Wel can you tell me what the first entry is in your rom manager? Mine is flash clockwork recovery. Give that a go and see if it works for you.
What root method did you use? I used ACE HACK KIT and if I recall it put a clockwork recovery on my device.
Spark is correct...hack kit does add a clockwork recovery. Start adb and type adb reboot recovery to boot into it. Or, install Droid explorer on your pc and click tools, install custom ROM.

I used Bubby's simple root program. It's weird tho because I first used it on another inspire and I was able to root it and flash it to another ROM. The second time I rooted on a different inspire(the one with the T-mobile) I can't flash it to a different ROM.
I've confirmed with root checker that the phone is rooted and I was thinking if it's advisable if I should root it again.
One more thing when I tried to go into boot mode and there was an orange blinking light. I just took out the battery and got it working again. What I heard is that it could be a sign of semi-bricking the phone.
Might be best to flash back to stock using the RUU in Bubby's one click, however, you may lose the ability to use T-mobile. I'll think about it after I get some sleep.

I was also thinking about flashing back into stock and after that just try to root everything again to work with T-Mobile

[Q] Downgrading CWM?

Im unable to root my phone Huawei U8650. Everytime I run the update.zip, it says it is successful, the phone restarts but there is no Superuser app! And when I use the root checker from Google Play, it says that my phone isnt rooted!
My friend at school has the same mobile phone, same carrier, everything the same. He rooted and has put his own custom ROM. But he has CWM 4.0.1.4. and my version is CWM 5.0.2.6
Is there a way to downgrade from CWM 5.0.2.6 to CWM 4.0.1.4?
How you put CWM width no root?
You can downgrade CWM if you put other rom width root premisson.

Witch version stock rom( official ) you have. I think that .zip root file is for GB 2.3.3 but I dont no how you put CWM 5.0.2.6 and you must put Superuser 2.3.5 in your phone after flashing .zip update for root.

I have rooted my tablet several times to no success. I used sper1click and it tells me that the tablet is rooted. But still i dont get any root access. I downloaded 3 root checkers but they all tell me no root access. I used oldin 1.7 and the process finished but still i dont get root access. I even gave doomlord and z4root a try. I notice that i now hav clockwork recovery when i boot in recovery mode. My kernel have changed from that DELL thing to a infra kernel. I have superuser installed and busybox. I dont have any options left. I followed all steps that i found for the diffrent methods on the internet. Is there any specific .tar file that i must use? Every body say rooting is easy but i must be missing something. Plz help. my about device show the following.

You have custom recovery. I don't know why your su binary doesn't seem to be working/existant but just get a new custom rooted rom and wipe and install that rom under clockwork. Problem solved.

[Q] can't install clockworkmod

i have a tmobile galaxy s3. i had installed clockworkmod and it was rooted soon after i bought it. then i unrooted it not to long ago waiting for jellybean update. anyways, i got tired of waiting. tried to re-root the phone. cwm still on phone. then accidentally erased and resetted all data and info. lost all info on internal memory card. phone reset to original settings. now, when i try to reload cwm, it doesn't work.when i run odin, and install cwm, everything goes ok, it passes. but when i try to boot to cwm, it only comes up to the android recovery. tried multiple odins and cwm tar files. none seem to work. going crazy, need rooted phone again. pppplllllleeeaaassseeeee help!
flash it
if you are rooted but just need cwr fixed-up you could just go to playstore and download one click recovery flasher or rommanager and let the app flash it for you.

Google the S3 QCOM Toolkit for all US varients. Download to ur laptop or computer and run the process. It just that easy. My SGS3 (atat) needed to be completely reset to facotry condition. When I got it back I used odin for a new recovery and root access but it always went back to stock recovery. Make use debugging is selected and it should take less than 5 mins.

Sorry I meant to say the S3 Snapdragon toolkit V2.3 which is the ALL-IN-ONE tool for all US SGS3 variants.

[Q] Unrooted now can't root again

I have a Verizon Galaxy S3. I previously had my phone rooted and I unrooted it using the SuperUser app (maybe that was a mistake). Now I am trying to root it again and I have ClockworkMod installed, but when I try to flash the SuperSU_Bootloader_FIXED.zip in recovery from my sd card it says that it installs, but my phone isn't rooted when I reboot and I don't have the SuperUser app. I also tried using the casual root from d2vzw (which is how I rooted the first time) and that says the install completes but when I reboot my phone I am not rooted and I don't have the SuperUser app. Can I not root again after unrooting? Any help is appreciated.
These might help you
I think because you just root it using a third party device which is not actually integrated in the device. If I were you (just a suggestion, nevermind if you don't want to do it), I would flash [ROM][6/21] - Stock Rooted - 6/20/13 OTA! - VRBMF1 - 4.1.2 / Multi Window this to have the root access again. I didn't try it but based on the comments of the users, this was being helpful to them or actually you can try different custom rom but first as what developers says, you must unlock Bootloader of your device.

Use Odin to return to stock if need be, then use the Casual root/unlocker program. Then install KitKat
